  1. I'm at this game. Fun campus, fun atmosphere. Noles offense looking like a 180 from last year
  2. I asked my buddy who lives in Leipzig about him (granted he's a Dortmund fan, but watches a fair amount of RB Leipzig). My question was whether or not he's worth €60 million "In my opinion, not really. Good player, nothing extraordinary (yet) too much of an ego, a little too arrogant I'd say. But we'll see, he has definitely more potential."
  3. Djed Spence.... England International!!
  4. Man United 0 - 2 Grimsby Town within 30 minutes. UPDATE: Grimsby Town win a 12-11 shootout
  5. Savinho deal trending towards not happening.
  6. I remember a poster back then arguing that Sam would never beat out Buechele and would transfer without ever playing a meaningful down for Texas. Pretty sure it was on Shaggy. Not sure if that was @Derkaor not, but this might be what you're referencing Treaty. If it was Derka, I guess it's true he never said anything about his success in college, just that it would never be at Texas.
  7. Lol I don't think a rich person or institution has ever said, "You know what? We have enough money, we don't need to make any more, we're good" Especially when it involves partnering with an Austin-based company that started as UT research. What starts here changes the world.... This sponsorship is an easy way to highlight the university as a whole, to help a UT friendly company gain visibility, and, with that increased visibility, foster what could be a very very lucrative partnership for years to come. Plus, I'd prefer a logo on the field rather than a jumbotron commercial or something that interrupts game flow.
  8. No thread for this year yet, so I'll just leave this here.
  9. Yup. He could've, and should've, had this deal done days, if not a week, ago. He over negotiates to try and get the cheapest deal because he's still trying to run a fucking business instead of a club. If he had paid a couple of extra million a few days ago, then he's already wearing a Spurs shirt.
  10. Cristian Romero signs new four-year Tottenham contract
  11. According to ChatGPT, we only have to wait until 2045 for Champions League glory!!! .... Still before Arsenal 🤣
  12. Yup,I thought about this some during the Son departure day and looking at the roster that's left. Other than Davies, no other player was on the roster pre 2021. I started following this club around 2011, right at the end of the Gareth Bale era. Right into the Kane/Son/Poch era of Spurs having some of the best players in the league at their position and consistently competing for top 4. What a time to be a Spurs fan! As much as we really haven't been that team for a while now, with Son's departure, it really does feel like turning to a new chapter. With all of the youth in the team right now, hopefully this chapter gets to its peak over the next 2-3 years and stays for a while.
  13. Their last two hires were Oklahoma assistants, either in the past or at the time, so..... Come on down Demarco Murray!!
  14. Predicted lineups anyone? I'll take a guess. 4-2-3-1 Vicario Porro, VDV, Cuti (c), Spence Palhinha, Bentancur Johnson, Sarr, Kudus Solanke
  15. Most of the podcasts I listen to lean towards Romero and hope being captain leads him to wanting to sign long term. Maybe Davies as more of a club ambassador/Captain, but he's just not going to be on the field enough to have the armband. Now with Madders being hurt, the other potential name they talked about was Vicario, but way behind Romero. Romero is tied with... Bryan Gil (July 2021). Gil for Captain? 😅
  16. Kudus plays as a 10 for Ghana, so this move might be Savinho to RW, Kudus to 10 to cover for Madders and Kulu both being out. Also, the rumor mill continues
  17. Was just there on vacation two weeks ago. Beautiful city, can't wait to go back. Don't know about the airport though, we drove in with friends from Leipzig then took a bus to Vienna after a couple of days.
  18. Yesterday was the day of Son Heung-min. Spurs IG was all about Sonny. Idk if I've ever seen a send off like this. Warning: long post, lots of IG videos. In addition to the video above Final letter to Spurs fans: Final interview: To his teammates, from their ex-captain
  19. Georgia Tech doesn't run the triple option, hasn't for a few years now. Navy is still running a triple option, both classic and from the spread, which is why Navy QB is on the list.
