  1. I might be able to make it up to Manhattan Beach in March and then Huntington Beach if we are able to make it to Nationals
  2. That's kind of what I'm getting at. That place is so shitty and he prefers UT so much that it doesn't matter if they were ranked #1, he was going to leave. Ok sure maybe, but has that ever actually happened? Or is UT baseball the only one with dicks big enough to poach the coach from the #1 team?
  3. I meant literally same level, like D1 to D1, not D2 to D1 or D1 to Pros
  4. Has there ever been an example of a coach leaving the preseason #1 team to take another job at the same level?
  5. I didn't actually go to the article.... That makes much more sense.
  6. Dillingham is exactly one month younger than me. According to this timeline, he was the QB coach for his high school when he was a high school senior ('07-08).
  7. Here's the entire play on skycam 20250103_182012.mp4
  8. Here's a split second later in the video. After Quinn releases it, Bond accelerates away from the CB and has at least two steps on him and is running away from him I think it was the right read and the space was there, just needed less float on it.
  9. Yeah that seems like a feature, not a bug, of a Sark offense. Maybe he'll evolve little by little and incorporate some of that, but if I remember correctly, when he was hired, one of his big priorities was getting guys the ball in space and on the run. I think he even specifically said something about not wanting guys to be stationary when they got the ball. I know there's plenty of Quinn haters on this thread that say "hE hAS nO NFL fuTuRe!!!!" I'd like to remind everyone that Spencer fucking Rattler has thrown for over 1,000 yards in the NFL this season and Skylar Thompson has over 100 career completions. Making an NFL roster is not that hard of a bar to clear for a QB with experience and a willingness to study and improve. Will he ever win a super bowl or be an All-Pro? Eh, who the hell knows. But he's got the tools to be on a roster and get playing time for several years.
  10. I think that's expecting a lot of a safety who is already moving forward to, in a split second, stop, reaccelerate backwards, and close that window, especially when that's not his responsibility. Quinn's eyes are telling him one thing here as soon as that safety starts moving forward: "Safety vacated middle of field, GO NOW!" I agree though on the sight adjustments. From everything I've watched on Sark's offense though, he loves to let his playmakers "run to grass" especially on over routes. We've seen it time and time again. In a different zone look, Golden is running to grass. I'm starting to think that he doesn't ask the WRs to make that post-snap read and adjustment. The only player he asks of that or that I've at least seen do that is Gunnar.
  11. I disagree. I'm guessing there's a pre-snap trigger to determine the read. If Quinn thinks it's Cover-2 or Quarters, safety is probably the read. If it's a cover-3 look or a Man look, then yeah, linebacker is probably the first read. If he's reading the safety, hitting Golden as he clears the first line backer gets him lit up the way Taafe lit up their guy at the end. Granted, yes, it's probably a completion, but if the first read is play side safety, you're not going to throw it to the guy he is moving towards unless it is a "must get a first down" situation. When Quinn throws this ball, the backside DB is on the numbers. With the air that he put under it, the backside DB still only arrives AFTER the ball gets picked. Put less air on it and throw it towards the fat post, not towards the upright, Bond has at least 2 steps after the catch before the backside DB gets there.
  12. Not sure if this was covered yet, but the skycam view showed Quinn reading the play side safety. He made the right read and then made a terrible throw. The safety take a step forward to close in on the Golden over. As soon as that safety moves forward in Golden's directly, Quinn lets it rip to Bond coming over the top on the post. If he puts less air on that, it's a touchdown. Eyes on the safety Safety moves up Quinn pulls the trigger
  13. Committed.... But not yet signed? What are the chances he doesn't sign anything until WSU does or doesn't hire Arbuckle?
  14. For Navy people, addressing someone as "shipmate" gets an immediate wtf
  15. I wonder if Bo Davis did his exit interview, cause then I'm not surprised at all and wonder if Swanson left a few cuss words out lol
  16. The problem I see is that they went out and bought a bunch of teenagers. Sure, very talented teenagers, but teenagers. To me, that says we're setting you up for success in 3-4 years, not necessarily right now. That was a conscious decision by management, I assume with the foresight that it was going to cause some growing pains. Do they have the stomach to make it through the growing pains and stick with Ange? Today certainly made it easier
  17. Marshall just pulled out of the bowl game against Army. Too many opt outs and transfers
  18. Go Navy beat Army!! 12 years and counting in the Navy (plus a tour with the Marines) and still going strong.
  19. Seeing that brisket is what makes me think that the lightsaber actually has already been secretly invented.
  20. Well more specifically, he was seemingly speaking out against ownership. Made it clear that he and the team love playing for Ange, love the style of football he wants them to play, and that they've been decimated by injuries this year.
  21. Lebby was was the OC that recruited him to OU, so maybe he feels like that would be a good QB battle? Or maybe this info is from the player's side and he wants to go to Miss St to reunite with an offense that he has experience in?
  22. Pretty sure it's just a typo this time, not slang. He meant to type "it didn't matter if we were in the (instead of free) SEC" Also I'm pretty sure his "Amtway" was supposed to be "Anyway"
