  1. I was really surprised she didn't get any playing time last night. She came in and played really well in the A&M game. Even TCU was hitting over Jhenna. Unfortunately it's a weak spot that is going to get exposed, especially against better competition. After the A&M game Elliot mentioned having Shook in, definitely made a difference with the block. Jhenna won the job last year and Shook was mess, but I can't figure out what Elliot is doing with those 2 this year.
  2. Mfer, I got Scorpio’d. Yeah, Virginia hasn’t exactly been a hotbed of recruiting for us and I know it’s early. I just hadn’t heard any buzz about him. Didn’t think it was such an outlandish statement. My bad. Surly it is.
  3. I wish they had a better shot at Grimes. He looked like the best cover corner for 2020/2021 classes based on the video from one of the elite camps this past summer.
  4. If they are stupid enough to not change their signals when playing a former QB, then they deserve whatever they got.
  5. Dallas got out coached, plain and simple. New Orleans crowded the LOS and smothered the run, especially on first down. They dared Dallas to beat them deep but Dallas’s receivers couldn’t get separation. Dak played tight and missed some throws he hasn’t been missing this season. Dallas did nothing to break tendencies, very predictable. Even though NO only kicked FG’s they moved the ball effectively. Using screens, short passes and Kimara. That’s all they had and Dallas knew it. Out coached...
  6. He’s an aggy...fanboy. I think he absolutely believes it. To think otherwise is giving him too much credit.
  7. I am guessing Fouonji is the odd man out with the Omeire commitment. Fouonji went 7/194 with 3 TDs Friday night...against El Paso Eastwood.
  8. Oh yeah, no doubt, I saw enough to know that it was fugly. But I’ll take it after what happened Wednesday. Hopefully it’s a bit of a turning point for the season.
  9. Wow nice win. I left when Texas was behind in the first set and looking baaad. I come home and see a 3 set win. And hearing Shook played well...go figure.
  10. Starting slow again... bad passing.
  11. So back in 2000 when Cedric Benson was playing for Midland Lee, they agreed to play a home and away series with West Monroe Louisiana. Lee went there (drove on buses)for the first game and played in huge downpour. Field was a swamp and Lee got beat pretty bad. Apparently, Lee was not treated very well..shocking. The next year Lee was out for blood in the rematch. But, West Monroe backed out and no showed for the game in Midland. What a fucked up state.
  12. Butler struggled with that last season. A really good setter can make the MB look bad and Stanford's is elite. I would think with a full season of game experience and practice, Butler has likely improved in that regard.
  13. Need Butler back if we see Stanford again. Freakin Plummer had 34 kills...maybe Brionne can help slow her down just a bit.
  14. He had another good game Friday night. I think 4 catches for 114 yards and 2 TDs. He’s got to be getting some attention by now. Track speed and is around 6’3”.
  15. Yeah I agree. I just wonder if he’ll still be around by the time those other guys decide. But that’s nothing new for this program, it’s a risk the coaches have to weigh. Got to go after the guys on the top of your board.
  16. I think Loic Fouonji from Midland Lee is going to make someone a damn good receiver. He had 4 catches for 168 yards and 2 TDs in Lee’s win against Smithson Valley Friday night. Set the all-time career receiving yards(1,475) for Lee. Is he a take? Might be too similar to Johnston. Obviously depends on some of our other targets, but he is one to keep and eye on.
  17. I don't know if Lotus is a crafty and brilliant troll, an imbecile , or an imbecile troll. Yeah, door number 3. But.. I have to give credit where credit is due. That little CTJ nugget that he dropped, was well played and will certainly garner some mileage on this board.
  18. Lol...I had never read this article. Haven't tried the sandwich yet, but when I go to Popeyes I always order the 3 piece chicken tender meal. Some days I feel like I could probably power down more than 3 tenders, but I still order the 3 tender combo. The reason of course, which the author points out, is that I've never gotten 3 tenders in the multiple times I've been there. Usually I get 4 to 6, but it's always more than 3. I did order the 5 piece combo one time...I got 4 and a mutant mini 5th. I'm sticking with the 3 piece, but I will definitely try the sandwich.
  19. I mentioned this possibility in the 2019 Recruiting thread. I could see him taking the Eric Winston route. I think there are some posters here that will not like this...
  20. Johnston kind of reminds me of Roy Williams. Maybe not quite as fast, but can really jump and moves like Roy did.
  21. Fuck man...I know every fan base has their "fill in the blank" colored glasses on most of the time. But these numbnuts are off the charts. They are absolutely the national champions of homerism and no one is going to challenge them. Sooo, they got that going for them. Smh...
  22. And just 16 when he put up these numbers.
  23. One of the most aggy things they do is the whole nickname deal. They literally have nicknames for every starting player on their fball team. Is this fucking kindergarten?? That and the requirement to wear their colors when at all possible, especially at the gym. Must be part of the cult training.
