  1. I’d rather trade age for round capacity

I’d rather not, but you’re gonna have to give more details on that aspect. What size limit, what evidence did you use to arrive at that capacity, how do you handle the millions of standard capacity mags in circulation, what restrictions are you placing on leos? Age and nics are much easier things to come to a compromise solution on, and both actually have the potential to actually impact broader gun violence.

I'm not supporting any side. But vegetables lack pain fibers - that is the basis for one argument for vegetarianism. The other that comes to mind is plant based diets are allegedly healthier than diets high in meat (especially red meat).

None of which are good excuses for acting like some fucking assholes.

Just pointing this out, but it's almost impossible to regulate private transfers unless you're going to build and maintain a complete registry of all firearms.

Nonsense. Make the penalty for an unprocessed transfer severe enough, and put the ATF to work on enforcing gun laws instead of push paper on suppressor transfers, and it will work itself out.

  4. There is zero basis for allowing an 18 year old with a felony to obtain an assault rifle, same day, at a gun show. It’s pretty simple really. Mandatory background checks, 21 years or older, no capacity to discharge more than 10 rounds with out reloading.

There are not millions who need the right to circumvent background checks, buy same day, and need assault rifles that discharge more than 10 rounds without reloading.

I’m willing to meet you on 2 out of 3. Are you willing to accept that.

Born and raised. Sacred heart, kealing, johnston. What you got?  Still don’t think we called it myooler but been drinking for Easter and been decades since I’ve seen a plane landing over 35 and taboo lingerie so my pronunciations may be a bit off...

I was the pilot for the space shuttle simulation.  I actually crashed the thing, but rebooted before anybody noticed. Perfect landing!

  6. More on the MTA study @ https://www.nimh.nih.gov/funding/clinical-research/practical/mta/the-multimodal-treatment-of-attention-deficit-hyperactivity-disorder-study-mta-questions-and-answers.shtml

The core study was completed in the 90s or early 2000s.  The drug treatment in the core study was individually optimized dosing of methylphenidate (Ritalin).  The study bern is citing in the OP is a followup observational study. After the 14m core study, treatment was usual care directed by individual provider, so they likely switched around various stimulants.  I'd be interested in seeing how they defined consistent and inconsistent use, and the results for each of those subgroups.  Not sure why that paper is not publicly available, the study was NIMH funded.

Lulz.  I flew San Antonio to Austin once due to a routing fuck-up (flight originated in Albuquerque, but had a few San Antonio stragglers on the plane due to a cancelled flight, so had to stop there first).  Took 17 minutes.  Flew so low I recognized the Circle C HEB (it was open).  Sky waitress refused to let me jump out there.  Cost me a good 45 minutes.

I would die if I had to take a 12+ hour flight, f dat.

Did the sa to aus hop once when my BA flight got routed to SA as result of weather. Sat on the tarmac there and then hopped to Austin. According to th pilot, SA had no way to deplane the Dreamliner.

  9. That last bit of history was a surprise. Google tells users that searching in Incognito mode means "Chrome doesn't save your browsing history" and "basic browsing history information like URLs, cached page text, or IP addresses of pages linked from the websites you visit."

Search terms for pics to burn down shaggy might come back to bite me.

  10. yeah, i started doing the double cut last few times I made it.  I found that the single chops get overdone, but the double chop sous vide seared and then cut down to one bone gives you the right balance between nice med rare meat and charred exterior.  And makes for a pretty nice presentation. next weekend will be the easter lamb roast. I still need to circle back and perfect lamb ribs on the smoker.  first time i tried those it was transcendental.

I'm gonna give lamb chops a try on the smoker Sunday. Any tips y'all can share?

I'd keep a close eye on them.  I'd keep it short to get some smoke flavor and finish quickly over higher heat.  To be honest, I probably wouldn't bother with the smoker at all, unless you were doing a leg or some lamb breast.

I think that its pretty damn hard to beat double cut rack of lamb, sous vide, and finished in cast iron.
