  1. I keep mine in baseball card sleeves in a 3-ring binder. I have the football & basketball tickets in there too, gives a good frame of reference.
  2. I don't get why Elizabeth is sheltering Paige from the realities of being a spy. Is she just protecting her daughter or is she fucking up and not realizing what she's doing? I know we'll get the answer, but part of me thinks that Elizabeth doesn't feel that Paige is really cut out for this work and she'll eventually just say "yeah, no thanks, mom". I loved seeing the mail robot in this episode.
  3. I finished Seven Seconds last week and it was really good. Cops kill a black teenager and try to cover it up.
  4. Oh that's killer! Yup, Empty Glass. I loved that lineup. That was the only time I got to see Nick D'Virgilio drum for MK. He's such a monster. My first MK show was at SXSW back in March of 2001. I'm a HUGE fan of Keneally's, glad to see someone else is too.
  5. Yeah, Beer for Dolphins is the name of his band. Sometimes he's called it the "Mike Keneally Band", but usually it's BFD. Think of it closer to "the Rocking Teenage Combo" rather than "the Mothers"...as in, not a specific band but whoever he's playing with at that particular show. I'd highly recommend his stuff. Much less cynical than Zappa.
  6. With Google Maps I like to go into satellite mode, turn off streets and try to find places I know.
  7. I highly recommend this doc on the band:
  8. Great episode, esp. coming off last season which was really slow. I figured it was there just to set up this final season. Potentially putting Phillip and Elizabeth against each other is a bold move. I loved the use of the songs as well, esp. the Gabriel.
  9. She's fine most of the time, pretty chill. Sudden noises like a dude talking loudly right by the front door...she doesn't like that too much.
  10. That's a slight exaggeration on Pete's jumping abilities. Here's the un-photoshopped version:
  11. The best show I've ever seen was Mike Keneally at a small club in Charleson, WV in 2001. It was religious. 2nd best, and best of the "big" ones, was Pink Floyd at Texas Stadium in 1994. Visually it's still the greatest thing I've ever seen. It rained that night so the rain was only coming down through the hole in the roof. When the lasers went through the raindrops, thousands of pyramids of rainbows refracted throughout the whole of Texas Stadium. They never could've planned that, but it was brilliant. The band was amazing...watching Gilmour play live is one of the highlights of my life.
  12. Iron Maiden & Anthrax, 1991 at the Fair Park Coliseum in Dallas. I was 15, it was amazing. Sometime in 8th grade I went with my folks to a show at the Continental Club while visiting the grandparents in Austin.
  13. My postman always talks on the phone, loudly, while walking through the neighborhood delivering mail. This pisses my dog off when he gets to my house and she pretty much explodes barking.
  14. Holy shit, how did I miss this thread? Amazing. I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. Thanks for bringing it over.
  15. Interview with the artist, Tim Beynart from 4 years ago: https://www.therobotsvoice.com/2014/06/nutty_the_kitten_with_testicles_for_legs_daily_tex.php
  16. Gary Gnu, from the Great Space Coaster. My old Shag picture was from the game where Case beat the shitbag sooners. I didn't know where my pic was so I decided to go with a different one until we beat ou again. Fuck ou.
  17. She's either a Russian spy that we don't know about or she's a US gov't spy who's watching Stan since he had that whole business with Hot Nina. I guess they could just be distracting us, but then why spend so much time on her?
  18. Season 1 was excellent. Can't wait.
  19. It's annoying right now, but I figure it'll clean up once everything calms down.
  20. Bringing this thread back so everyone can enjoy some Nutty. https://imgur.com/a/RPkC6
