  1. Supposed to be aggy Benny Hill
  2. I like Kinser. They feel a bit grumpy but prices are fair. I also like picking up on their property (firewood)
  3. Think I'll finally visit this summer and check out the track. I've driven past it but never gone down to tour it.
  4. Sitting in my home office in SW Austin with the window open... listening to the rain and thunder. I'll take this. This is nice. Looks like the worst stuff is staying south and some storms may head to the Lake Travis Watershed... Let's do this...
  5. That's not all they're talking about Sometimes I'm glad I can't see the Capitol Building any more
  6. Its aggy graduation time, y'all! Things gettin' crazy on campus.
  7. I feel like last year's was perpetual 0% with witty graphics of the high pressure dome of death
  8. Feeling darker here in SW Austin but I'm hoping the worst of it does not head this way. I'd like to see a nice training storm sitting over the Lake Travis watershed though. Rain bomb, plz
  9. I mean, its the party apparatus... Goebbels, Himmler, Heydrick, etc. were all lined up and supporting no matter what. What's the difference?
  10. LOL... that's funny. You know, I've noticed old people love to talk about their health problems and procedures. I've noticed it too much unfortunately. Don't get old But, hilarious that someone would want to take a picture of that. We go downtown/South Congress a lot - I just like the vibe. We hear the funniest things from tourists when sitting on a front table at Guero's. I'm trying to figure out how some of these people haven't seen Tex-Mex before. Then again, I remember being in Southern California for two weeks my senior year in HS and this girl from Iowa would keep taking pictures of touching palm trees.
  11. It happens because people will go to great lengths to ski great untouched terrain. You have to be smart and know the avalanche report so you make decisions that won't put you in (too much) danger. But, honestly, sometimes nature does what it wants. Even extremely experienced people end up dying (see background and some pretty kickass footage from a guy who dies earlier this year near CB) https://www.gunnisontimes.com/articles/eric-freson/ Eric enjoyed skiing, snowmobiling and ice climbing in the winter months. He combined all three passions frequently in pursuit of placing turns at obscure places and times. Eric rallied his friends to start skiing at night to get more hours in during the day. Nighttime second bowl laps became a weekly occurrence. His ski equipment frequently included ropes, crampons, ice axes, and deep trust between partners as essential tools for skiing the lines he was interested in. Eric would patiently scout lines, sometimes for multiple seasons, until conditions aligned, but would also be up for a quick strike mission when the snow was good. For Eric, the people and the places were just as important as the snow conditions to have a good ski day.
  12. Don't forget San Francisco
  13. Just finished watching the race in Le Man's and MotoGP > Formula 1 and it's not even close
  14. Man, he sure can fire you up!
  15. The first time I went to the Domain I looked around and said, "this is nice but you could tell me I was in Atlanta or Houston or some other generic city and I wouldn't know the difference"
  16. Then again Diplo was a Miller Lite stage show at 7 so who knows.
  17. This seems Andrew's speed
  18. I always worry about these bad hail storms since our living area has a lot of big windows that look prime for the taking. They're somewhat shielded by a live oak which I guess sort of helps but still. We also have one of those sun tube things which I imagine can get damaged just like a skylight. Had family in Driftwood last night when the storm was moving that way - was very uncomfortable having them there but thankfully it swung just west of them.
  19. Yeah, I'm not sure how the whole ellipsis thing started but its nice to know it triggers them. May have to use it... more I don't necessarily get triggered by the OK, I just assume she's not down with what I suggested but won't say it. I should try asking for sexy time and if I get an OK, it will confirm by suspicions
  20. My oldest is "OK" for 90% of what I sent him. "Look - I found a pile of money" "OK"
  21. yeah yeah whatever. My great-aunt is flying in from Sacramento at 3:30. Will there be a cold front at ABIA by then?
