  1. Yeah just because he wants out doesn’t mean you get beat in a trade. Tua plus two 1st and two 2nd seems fair and the minimum that should be accepted. Three 1st and one 2nd would be awesome. Obviously somewhat matters where those 1st are projected to land.
  2. Yeah Deshaun saying he won’t play for Texans now
  3. YouTube TV removed Tennis Channel so my tennis watching is going to mostly die. Very disappointed
  4. If we can get three 1st round picks (average position of at least #14th overall) and two second round picks for Watson, I’d do it. Use a 1st and 2nd to draft QBs to battle and then fill roster with the other three picks. That being said - BoB should be sued for gross negligence that we are even in this position.
  5. Watched it again last night. Much better watching at home with subtitles. I’d say I understand 90% of it as compared to 60% in the theater Solid movie
  6. Prayers from a fellow father. I wish you peace
  7. I’m on day 4 of recovery. The surgery wasn’t bad, but the recovery has been worse than anticipated. Although I’ve been forced into activity since day 2, I’m sure that hasn’t helped at all. I’m going to try and do a whole bunch of laying down next two days to get it back under control
  8. Thanks for replies. We are actually going to be out of town from 21-30th so totally fine with people looking. Just didn’t want to wake up in January with little attention and 20+ days on market
  9. We are planning to sell our house (Houston) and our realtor (who we’ve used before and love) saw our house earlier this week and thinks we should list next Thursday (17th). That will give it a full weekend before Christmas and then they say with the market as it is, there should still be plenty of traffic around Holidays. Any thoughts? I’m apprehensive as it seems if houses don’t sell in under two weeks, they sit forever and drop in price a bunch. It’s basically make or break right off the bat
  10. He confirmed today that he has moved to Texas
  11. Him and Mahoney are two QBs who are most fun to watch. Allen’s arm is absurd, he’s worth watching just for the 3-4 throws a game that no other QB on earth can make
  12. Hope nobody here is with BMO energy banking. Supposedly let go of the entire Houston group this morning. Good people
  13. Bit surprised at the septic cost. All good information, thank you very much. Sounds like $30-$40k for all three, with potentially some variability depending on circumstances.
  14. Thanks. I tried some internet searching but all Google could give me were “$1,000 - $20,000” guesses. Sounds like somewhere in the $3k-$8k range is a decent guess. What did you do for water and sewer?
  15. Much appreciated. So if I planted a house 300feet inside property it would probably be $3,000 electric or so?
  16. Houston here - We are prepping our house as quickly as possible so that we can get out of the city and into the suburbs/outer Houston now that I’ll never be back in the office more than 2-3 days a week. Little window of opportunity has presented itself and we are trying to run away as quickly as possible (as evidenced by this comment and my question about buying weekend acreage elsewhere). I’m in banking so it’s not killing it, but quasi stable at least.
  17. Is that before or after Vicki tanked Oxy?
  18. Thanks - a lot advertise as “utilities are available at the road”. Does that then mean I’d pay the $10ft to the house?
  19. Alright - so who can give me the run down on what I should be looking for when buying a plot of undeveloped/partially developed land? Looking at buying 20-40 acres somewhere between Lufkin and Austin (we like the Moscow and Centerville areas a lot). Basically plan to sit on the land for a couple years and eventually build a weekend home on it. In the meantime we may buy an RV and take that on the weekends with the kids. Obviously my #1 concern is utilities. My strong preference would be that electric, water and septic is already on site somewhere but that’s somewhat hard to find unless they have some home on it already. If I pay $125 for undeveloped land, how much am I paying to bring in utilities? Second interest is the Ag exemption. How easy is that to obtain? Huge difference in prop taxes. Any other huge pitfalls I should be looking for? I’ll have a realtor who knows the areas and buying property but curious to know from people who have done it.
  20. Booo the longer it takes to restart the rigs the faster prices will rise
  21. Anybody who didn’t see BoB as a huge mistake hire the day it was announced was blind. He lucked into fools gold playing in a bad AFC South, but the strategy was always a disaster. Drafting Watson was about the only thing to thank him for
