  1. My dad wore this exact brand and skin my whole life, great boots!
  2. Cows will eat it and the sacks it came in and the tractor.
  3. You guys are awesome! Really appreciate the help. Would absolutely travel to wherever is needed. Not sure how to proceed, guessing get the results of the MRI in February and see what that shows. I am assuming the three hour MRI would be half with contrast and half without?
  4. If you like mushrooms, that soup recipe on here that bounces around is incredible and keto friendly.
  5. She’s a hottie for sure, hard to tell from this angle.
  6. Looks great, gonna need a recipe. Both are damn sure cold weather comfort foods.
  7. We live in Amarillo and are needing a CT surgeon. Wife has a paracardial cyst that seems to be rearing it’s ugly head. She has had it for years and monitors it annually with an MRI. Seems it’s growing and causing issues, high bp being the biggest concern. She has a 3 hour cardiac MRI scheduled in February, that’s the soonest they could get her in. Doesn’t seem like any one in Amarillo wants to tackle the surgery. Looking for any help with recs, obviously looking like we will need to travel to get this removed. Been told they can drain it but it could just fill back up. Any help or recs?
  8. Had these tonight as well, posted in the soup and stew thread. Those look fantastic!
  9. Cold and windy in Amarillo today. So far we have 9.5 inches according to the weatherman. Great day for a soup or stew. Wife made chicken and dumplings, I’m full as a tic, so damn good!
  10. We try that shit on all flights inbound from California.
  11. @Anastasis might holler at Mitch at Krivoman. His stuff is very well thought of on the bow hunting forum I hang out on. He used to be in Georgetown but I think he moved to Round Rock or Cedar Park. He has blinds and feeders as well as protein feeders. https://krivomanoutdoors.com/shop/
  12. Damn shame they demolished the old Freedman bbq building, fuck growth! Their food was good and I loved sitting at the bar.
  13. Saw my first MNWD out in the wild, I didn’t buy it, I’ve only had it once and wasn’t all that impressed. They wanted $200, might have been good trade bait. I did buy two bottles of EHT’s Rye offering.
  14. Here is a pic of Chef John’s prime rib method. It works great on normal sized roast, we tried a 12lb one last year and it wasn’t done enough. I’d say anything 10lb and under this method is perfect. This is for boneless, not sure about roast with the bones still intact.
  15. We have been using his method for years, always perfect. Downside is tying up the oven for hours. We only have a single oven so it can be a PITA.
  16. Between diesel, corn and processor, it’s about $200/lb for venison. It’s still money we’ll spent
  17. Find you a good bourbon bar and get some single pours. I’ve done that several times and eliminated some bottles I had on the purchase list.
  18. Found one of these last week. Seems like it was $400ish, should I have bought it?
  19. Yeah me too, we have a local processing house but like you said, they do run out. It’s such a great cut of meat.
  20. Love hangar steak, those look perfect. I have a pretty good source but they can be hard to find. Where did you find em?
  21. Those look fantastic. How long did you cook and did you wrap them at any point? Congrats on the new rig!
  22. What did y’all do to @deadshank? @deadshank to the white courtesy phone.
  23. I think it’s just moisture in the metal.
  24. What time are we eating? Great looking backyard as well!
  25. Damn good looking pit! Like that big door, throw you a whole hog on there.
