  1. I'm not going to go through your list one by one. The very first guy you held up as an example of someone who benefitted from staying was actually the exact opposite and hurt his stock by staying. You're doing a good plenty good enough job making yourself look stupid, I don't need to spend time doing it. Bottom line is that more, by a huge margin, players hurt their stock by playing for Herman for an additional year than improved their stock by staying. It's not even debatable. Have a good week. Don't forget your helmet when you leave the house.
  2. Nobody said we're a wasteland. What anyone with a pulse understands is that there's a very short list of two to three players who have improved draft stock from junior to senior year, and an entire Trapper Keeper full of guys who didn't. Based on objective history, a player at Texas is more likely to get injured or hurt his draft stock in his senior year under Herman than they were to improve their draft stock. The majority of our "stars" peaked in their sophomore or junior years. Players who stayed for their senior year made a poor decision. Just ask Sam Ehlinger. And the fact that you put Collin Johnson up as a guy who improved his draft stock over his Texas career makes me wonder if you actually watch football. There was a point in his time at Texas where he was being talked about as a first round prospect. He went in the fifth round. He was thought of as a top 15 or so WR after his junior season, and he was the 20th WR off the board. If anything, his senior season hurt him What a stupid take. Watch more football kid.
  3. Yeah, Collin Johnson's 559 yard and three touchdown senior season definitely helped him. If you ever find yourself making a point where the validity of your point rests on Tom Herman being a good coach and player developer, your point is fucking stupid. Take a lap.
  4. Chiefs and Pack should coast to pretty easy wins. The other two games look great. Battle of the Octogenarian hall of famers in the NFC and two of the most electric young guys in the AFC.
  5. Wow. Three in five years. What a stunning display of player development. How could any player decide to miss out on that? Thugs imo
  6. Yep. Nobody who left early made a bad choice. There are countless examples of players stagnating their senior year under Herman, if not regressing. I doubt you can find 5 examples of guys who actually improved their stock. It's just butt hurt fans lashing out. LJH has made questionable decisions but that's not one of them
  7. The flailing around by the very people who participated in, voted for, and gave money to the movement that created the assault on our democracy is hilarious and sad. Nobody should even give the time of day to anyone trying to equivocate an attempted overthrow of the entire democratic foundation of our country with other events. It's an absurd and ridiculous attempt by those complicit to assuage their guilt and pretend to still be members of respectful society. Those who I'm talking about are garbage human beings without integrity. They don't deserve the respect of serious attempts at conversation. Stop giving it to them.
  8. Brees is fine. This is how he's played for the last two or three seasons. Saints are a ball control and defense team with the Kamara big play thrown in.
  9. If his WRs and OLine could stop fucking him over, the Washington QB's performance would be pretty legit right now.
  10. Damn that's dumb. So many flaws. Fields won't drop to 15, literally a zero percent chance that happens. The Saints would never in a million years draft an ILB in the first round. The current MLB Demario Davis just made 2nd team All Pro, loves the city/team and is beloved by all, and has several more years left on a very team-friendly deal. They also just don't believe in drafting LBs high. Multiple other issues that aren't even worth pointing out. Clickbait and nothing more. I'm pissed I fell for it.
  11. "Why does the liberal media keep forcing Trump supporters to commit treason?!" But my favorite is "I'm concerned that you guys are casually discussing arresting people who commit felonies!! Somebody think of the children!"
  12. It's such an expose on how just flat dumb and contradictory these people are. They hate social media and big tech so much and yet the only reason they got caught is because they just had to put their selfies out on social media. Not only that but they could have easily worn masks which is accepted right now, but of course they won't because freedom. Just absolute morons. Vapid attention whoring idiots.
  13. The hardcore treasonous Trump patriots are too stupid to use any technology that has any level of security beyond "CLICK THE SQUARES THAT HAVE CROSSWALKS" , and even that might hurt their brains. They're not going to be running their shit through encrypted channels.
  14. Yeah, agreed. They've definitely tuned their models well for day-of projections. I saw some tweets that the data guys are basically saying that their models did really well in 2018 and in the GA special as well - essentially saying that there's a Trump X factor for 2016/2020 that they just can't account for. One other thing that wasn't really noted much in November because there was so much going on was that Trump's "X factor" was quite different from 2016 to 2020. In 2016, just about every single state ended up redder than polling indicated. The pollsters post-mortems talked about how when calculating Trump's odds, they didn't have the states synchronized enough - IE Trump doing 2% better than expected in Ohio probably meant he was 2% better everywhere. In 2016 it was a totally different story. Some states (OH, FL, TX) went _much_ redder than the polling showed, but outside of those few states, the polling was actually pretty correct. The RCP average was dead-on in the entire rust belt, Georgia, North Carolina, Arizona, and Nevada. So it was the exact opposite of 2016. TX/OH/FL seemed to decouple from the rest of the states and Trump drastically overperformed his polling there. Will be some really interesting case studies and postmortems coming out over the next couple of years, once there aren't things like coups and treason keeping journalists occupied.
  15. (sorry GB didn't mean to quote you) It's worth noting that the NYT needle had Warnock at 1.7% and Ossoff at 1.0% by about 20 minutes into receiving results which is almost exactly where they're going to end up. Sure, they had a pretty easy guideline to follow by using county results vs. the same county in November, but even still, impressive work.
  16. Take the political bullshit to the Cloak Room.
  17. So they need to nominate a Democrat?
  18. I'm actually seeing a bit of rationality out of the few Trumpy friends I have on social media. My long-time buddy who is a cop and his wife are your very typical Trumpers, and both of them posted that yesterday was unacceptable. The wife even posted that she blames Trump and vented that she supported him through everything but this was too much. Granted, they're engaging with their friends who are claiming that they are all Antifa plants, but it's half-hearted wishcasting. Most of my friends that are Trump supporters are on the more intelligent side of the Trump spectrum, granted. And the particular people I'm talking about are not at all the racist, xenophobic types. And of course there are still a good number of morons who support and revel in what happened yesterday, and we can't fix that. But what happened yesterday did offend even some of Trump's most hardcore supporters. It's good to see.
  19. How bout now@DenverHorn ? Looks like you pulled a Spieth on the back 9
  20. "Everyone but me is a binary thinker!!! I'm an intellectual!!" - huge brained sock account who thinks Sedition and Treason are the exact same things as being an old corporatist boomer
