  1. A call for more nuanced and intellectual thought by surly members, brought to you by the poster who said this: "Bless your heart. Whataboutism is so cute. I has to intimidate you Betas a hot chick as sharp as her ... hence why a stupid cow like Psaki is more fitting of your Beta bedroom prowess ... all trying to perform while longing to be a ABCDEFG+_*/ affirmation of Betaness."
  2. The groom was just disappointed that Trump didn't institute prima nocta.
  3. Sounds like your social circle is quite a bit more honest than society at large..
  4. I haven't really seen anyone cheering it. I'm ambivalent on it. What I do care about is that Buttigieg seems to be aware of looming issues coming in the future and trying to get ahead of them. As we move toward green energy and more electric cars on the road, that's going to be a net loss of revenue that needs to be replaced by something else. I'm sure, as Worldwide said above, they'll have rebates to make it more progressive. But even if it's not perfect, at least one party is aware of the future and working proactively to get ahead of problems. This administration appears, so far, to be aware of and working on solutions for looming changes that will transform our world. Driverless/electric cars, income inequality, technology, etc. The other party is denying any of those things exist and pretending it's 1957.
  5. I dunno. You might be right, but there's also the possibility that a huge portion of the "very eager to get a vaccine" population already got it by signing up as 1B with conditions or by letting them know they're surly lawyers. That "very eager" population might not be as big as you'd expect. Obviously will be hugely regional as well. Austin will probably have demand for awhile. Waco won't.
  6. Outside of a very, very tiny portion of the population that is really loud online, nobody doesn't want the pandemic to end. There's like some tiny fraction of a percent of the population that are nerds who see the restrictions as the great leveling. They didn't have a social life prior and neither do you now! But that's some very very infinitesimal portion of the country. 99.9% of the country wants the pandemic to end. Who are you talking about?
  7. The original is foreign and has the redhead wildling guy from Game of Thrones and it's really good.
  8. The Uber driver that drove me to the tire shop the other day told me that he and his friend who was the head engineer for NASA invented a Covid cure nasal spray that the government suppressed because reasons. He drove a 10 year old Toyota Corolla.
  9. Googled my own question. Houston would be the first team to ever make the final four without playing a single digit seed. So yeah, definitely the easiest path.
  10. Yeah, the article is nothing but a thirst trap for angry boomers. Oh no, some middle class folks made a bunch of money, let's definitely get outraged at that and not the fact that the uber-rich got even wealthier during the pandemic at the same time that nearly 10% of our country fell below the poverty line. This is clickbait political hackery nonsense that deserves neither an article or a thread.
  11. Cougar high has looked like a completely different team with Jarreau having a week to get healthy. Doesn't hurt that their best opponent was a 10 seed, but they look to be playing well. I wonder if any team has ever had an easier path to the Final Four than playing a 15, 12, 11, and 10 seed.
  12. Oregon's shot selection is Shaka level
  13. First thing we saw in Israel was olds not dying. About a month after they're out at concerts.
  14. It was political. Not overly partisan but political nonetheless while we were just talking about chief's kid banging, or not banging, dumb girls. Stay on point.
  15. Yeah, real terrible thing that'll never be properly called out because they won, but his team did basically the worst thing possible.
  16. Mother fucker we actually had a nice run of apolitical conversation about banging dumb hot women and the fallout thereof going, you interrupted it and made it political, and you're calling brisket toxic? Go fuck yourself. RIP an actual fun conversation Born CHIEF's post Died this fuckhead's post
  17. After the best game of the tourny this is just dog shit. Was hoping for a nice Sunday night cap. Oh well.
