You didn't really expand on it, so are you saying that kills/injures/injuries leading to death per minute is a metric (not the only one) that you would use to define regulation of an object?

I certainly think it should be accounted for.

I knew the moment I saw that headline early this morning that it would come up as an example of how ANY weapon can be used to kill multiple people.  (I'm not accusing you of making that argument, by the way, but I've seen it elsewhere.)  It's just such an intellectually stunted point of view.  Regulations exist for many reasons, but one is most certainly rooted in the concept of balancing public safety with individual freedom.  Yesterday's knife attackS (plural) were separated in time and place, and probably represented just about the "best" one could do in terms of killing multiple people with a knife in a relatively short length of time.  Had the killer tried to take out a crowded bar, he would have been subdued within seconds by bystanders -- perhaps he would have killed a couple of people, but there is no way in hell he would have killed or injured 36 victims.  For one thing, it's pretty easy to run away from a knife.

You still can't deny history or the slippery slope example of the abridgment of 1A rights in the UK from the example I gave after they implemented strict gun control.

How were your 1A rights abridged during the Federal assault weapons ban (1994-2004)?

The WH doesn't have ideological blinders on.  The WH is full of white supremacists.  They do what they do for a very simple reason -- they don't want any aspect of the movement curtailed.

nobody can put it all togther.....shocking.....and fuck you

I feel like this could be a missing verse to Saturday in the Park by Chicago for some reason.

Kudos for the chuckle.  Well played.

Every accusation is an admission.  That applies no less to TTom than to Trump.  Identity politics is a figment of the paranoid right.  Our current divisiveness was planted by Newt, fertilized with the manure spewed by conservative talk radio and Fox News and harvested by the current generation of internet crackpots and angry uncles bitching about how all liberals and minorities are responsible for their own pathetic failures in life.  Fuck those losers.

    I'm stealing that.

there is a Trump because of the proven track record into the White House based upon racial divide.

He learned it, he embraced it....I dropped out when I saw it happenening and warned everyone on Shaggy to please stop...he is here and people are dying./.   The next guy will be worse.   Biden is the best option, but he is an old white guy who will spend the next 18 months explaining that he isn't.  Than is now your criteria.  So Trump will win again and this will continue.

So . . . the guy who officed in the WH for 8 years while this racial divide was being built is the best guy for POTUS?  Really?  That's your angle?

    why? did you fart?

I told you that a culture of divisivness would lead to this.

You only had ad hominem attacks with response.

You insisted upon identity politics...you ran the numbers wrong...now MORE of the electorate wants to draw up sides upon skin color and people are dying.

You fuck head....I TOLD YOU THIS WOULD LEAD HERE

And it is not going to stop with the San Antonio guy posting the names of Trump donors on twitter......a candidate for president calling out donors for attack on social media.

This is where your plan ends, Jimmy....while numerous victims of racism have been marginialized because everyone just chalked their case up to "Jimmy Jazz"....now people are dying and ad complete fucking moron is our President.

    fuck you...and Jimmy James...and Brisket/.

Dude.  Put down the bottle.  The "culture of divisiveness" is ALL ON THE RIGHT.  All of it.

In Spanish:  fuck you, go wakeboarding.

Now perhaps some other draft-eligible juniors with late-round to UDFA projections won't be so quick to dismiss all the advice to stay for their senior years to build their resumes. LJH should have listened last year; maybe others in his situation will listen in the future.

I find it highly unlikely that LJH would have been a better candidate to make the NFL after another year of college ball.  What he needs is for some team to recognize his production in college and take a leap of faith that he could replicate it in the pros.  That's pretty hard to do when everything you see after college (combine, preseason) screams "not very athletic, not very motivated".

This is the one that worries me.  One of these days one of the parents of a kid killed in a shooting is going to snap and try and take out one of the politicians who continue to block reasonable gun regulations.  I'm actually surprised it hasn't happened yet.

The far more likely scenario is that a Trumpkin will try to take out a minority (female) rep.

He should challenge him to a race. Trump would drop dead of a heart attack before he made it 1/2 a mile.

LOL.  The idea of Trump running 100 yards much less a half mile is comical.  The Benny Hill theme could be the hype video soundtrack, though.

Yes.  Not sure about with the officers at this point and after his cozying to NK, etc.  But among the rank and file absolutely.

Officers are moving away from Trump and have been doing so for awhile.  Rank and file must follow their orders.

Besides, they take an oath to defend the Constitution, not the Commander-in-Chief.  I don't think the military will stand for illegal orders.

At what point does this turn into a national revolt or uprising? We are on the brink I feel.

Nah, I think emotions will fade a bit and then a new outrage will take its place.

no one is saying the information is confidential.  pointing fingers at people so your followers will know who they are supposed to shun is the issue.

You know, Lance Armstrong is a piece of shit, but as the point man in charge of a burgeoning charity even he was smart enough to never take a public political stance.  If these business owners and pillars of the community donate to Donald Trump, I would like to know about it.  Castro just did the legwork.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

I'm gonna vote with my fucking dollars and these assholes can sit and spin.  As I said yesterday, fuck 'em.
