Centrists are just shit, that's why people don't care about them.
That's just stupid.

Trump praises Jamal Khashoggi's murderers, but actively advocates for A$AP Rocky's release from custody. Priorities.

Did you happen to notice the 2018 election results? Your break from reality would be funny if it wasn't so clearly the result of self-loathing cognitive dissonance.
Instead it's just pathetic.

handlesdays ago, I believe he mentioned the 2018 results were evidence that he was correct and that it was the right's dream scenario. You know, owning the libs by allowing them to retake the house with four colored wimmens. -

If you read CostCo's New Ideas In Corporate Management you will find that paying your employees a living wage helps the bottom line, but it has jack shit to do with gubmint.

It doesn't need to be said, because it wasn't a joke.

That may be true, but I'm only talking high versus low. Look at the strike zone shown on the screen here. An automated strike zone would add a damn foot to the top of that zone. A foot!
Bellinger struck out swinging at a 95mph fastball at the top of the displayed zone. Imagine having to cover another foot vertically.I agree, and that's pretty much in line with what I've been trying to say. It reduces the demand on the pitcher virtually to the point where they're just restricted left/right, because the vertical aspect of the strike zone (by rule) is not hard to hit. ANY pitch that clips ANY part of that volume extending up from the plate, knees to nipples (or whatever) is a strike, which is just not even close to true now.
For a sport that wants to see more offense via juiced balls, this would be an interesting move in the opposite direction.

Well, there is an option. It's pretty extreme, but it may be necessary.

There seems to be an undercurrent of people who are determined for everyone to see Billy Eilish as the next Fiona Apple.
Here's the thing, though: she isn't.

FYI for those trying to put things together in this story --^ "Davidson" is Stormy Daniels' attorney.

lmao. what a load of shit. do you also think that the vast majority of posters would have been "confronted with their misstep" via a chorus of, "GOD DAMN IT DERKA YOU DID THIS ON PURPOSE BECAUSE YOU NEED ATTENTION SO BADLY YOU FUCKING ATTENTION WHORE."
ummm . . . the very first reply on this thread is nothing more than a link to another thread. No scolding, no name-calling.

How long before he calls her an actual slur?
It's only a matter of time before "cunt" slips out. At that point, all the proper Baylor wimmens will quietly attest to the fact that they wished POTUS didn't speak in such a locker room dialect, but they understand and appreciate what he is accomplishing.

Yes, tell us more about how Trump is the Democrats' fault while you bitch about Democrats and don't bitch about Republicans.
You're a complete joke.
Let's not forget that little issue of Trump winning the Republican nomination . . .

"Run the numbers". The go-to phrase by those who lack analytical skills. Try something else.

Also, people who are convinced that it would help hitters are putting a lot of faith in something that may be completely wrong. Did y'all not see the video of the minor league all star game strike call? That was a strike because it was sinking heavily but crossed the front edge of the plate with part of the ball even with the hollow of the batter's knee. Pretty much every human umpire ever would have called that a ball. It was a strike.
This is exactly why I said this would lead to a lot more strikes. If the ball merely needs to clip a precisely defined volume, as opposed to a single plane that a middle-aged man struggles to assess, then there is a lot more opportunity for pitchers. Sure, the counterargument is that the radar system will have much higher accuracy, so we'd eliminate the vast majority of balls that were incorrectly called strikes, but I'll bet the 3-D aspect of the strike zone would dominate.

If you're too dumb to know this website will have a meta BBQ thread in the food section or too lazy to try to find it or too selfish to follow the community rules because they can't possibly apply to you (or, likely some combination of all three)...that's on you.
I don't really have a dog in this fight other than for the lulz, but you can try to deflect this onto other people all you want and try to claim ignorance because you don't post in this sub-section, but you're wrong about all of it.
And stop with the "if someone else would have done it you guys would have never said anything" bullshit and then claiming that as "fact". That is not a fact, that is your conjecture. It is almost literally the opposite of a "fact".
I can imagine him not knowing about the meta-thread.
I can also imagine the vast majority of posters, when confronted with their misstep, would say "oh shit, my bad, I didn't see that. Mods, please delete this thread."
BUT . . .

Anybody have white friends who instantly start talking slightly black the moment a black guy shows up? All of the sudden this motherfucker starts ending his sentences with "dawg."
Worse than that, I get accused of "being pitchy, dawg".

Racism, in the parlance that I am referring to, is any transgression against a POC by a non-POC.
So if a white guy breaks into a black guy's car and steals his iPhone, that's racist? (What if he steals his Beats?)
I don't think you've thought this through. You're shooting from the hip, most likely because of not-insignificant twinge of white guilt, but hey, maybe I'm projecting.

And I'm saying that "racist" has become a broad definition term that is catered to fit any microaggression the accuser sees fit.
Nah. "Racist" means what it's always meant -- a racist is a person who doesn't like or feels superior to persons of other races. This is pretty fucking simple. The thing is, Trump has pulled back the cover and emboldened the racists, of whom there are many.
Your gaslighting doesn't work here.

I know Republicans have made their bones on using sophistry to hide racism under pretext, but sometimes a particularly stupid Republican goes so far that you can't hide behind the disingenuous claim that, "durr, you can't prove to a certainty that he thinks whites are superior to other races or that he was prejudging someone based on their race!!!"
BUT, you can prove that Obama is a stupid communist Kenyan because he said "57" when he meant "47". QED.

This was EXACTLY my thought. Ronnie is beyond reproach.
Irrelevant anecdote: I've only seen the Stones one time, on the "Bridges to Babylon" tour at Texas Motor Speedway. Their set had a bridge that came out and connected to a tiny "club" stage right in front of my face. I could have spit and hit the band. They played a few tunes, and right at the jump some chick threw her bra on stage. Ronnie picked it up, put it on his head like some kind of flight helmet, and played the rest of his set like that. I like Ronnie, he's a very good player and has a terrific heart.
