Honestly jimmy, what have you seen from the Trump administration that leads you to believe that this group of characters were able to orchestrate a vast international conspiracy involving Qatar, Russia, a major gas conglomeration, broad swathes of the RNC and GOP, coordination of social media targeting, and hacking efforts? These people are not capable of having a basic staff meeting without fucking it up.
Well, I don't think they were able to orchestrate it with any level of sophistication. I think this is largely going to prove out to be a fiscal prostration by Trump and his ilk that occurred over decades. They went for the money. That probably had legal implications here in the US that they might have successfully skirted for who knows how long, but when it escalated to elected positions, they got out over their skis, and guys like Mueller and Avenatti are having no problem connecting the dots.

The broker fee might not be a crime in and of itself. The tit for tat in exchange for easing sanctions? Well . . .

The best people. No collusion, nothing to see here, a nothingburger with cheese and mayo.

"PEOPLE TELL ME SOME ARE SAYING" it has something to do with karma or punishment for enabling drumpf. "I AM ALSO HEARING THAT OTHERS ARE SAYING" she made all of those birther comments, so she's not so innocent.
Signs that you may be having a stroke:- Sudden numbness or weakness of the face, arm or leg, especially on one side of the body.
- Sudden confusion, trouble speaking or understanding.
- Sudden trouble seeing or blurred vision in one or both eyes.
- Sudden trouble walking, dizziness, loss of balance or coordination.

I think it's far more likely that the kidney condition is less "benign" than indicated than her hospitalization is because she OD'd. That's kinda left field.

I keep reading the thread title as " . . . impotence" and then I think, "yeah, that works too".

If Trump helped the Japanese plan the attack on Pearl Harbor, would that be treason? We weren’t technically at war but the United States was under attack.
It would make him the enemy. Whether or not it makes the action "treason" is semantics.

Alright smart guy let’s discuss the merits of Owner of a Lonely Heart...
Cons: Totally crap effort by a formerly great band trying to stay relevant in the 80s. Kids love a shitty song with inane lyrics so just add some fucking synth right? Your pros are appreciated
Trevor Rabin's guitar part.

Well, that's kinda the point of disagreeing with you. Your overarching take has been "the Republic is dead". Now you're walking it back and saying it's 50/50?
Whatever, you don't need to keep telling us "I'VE BEEN SAYING IT". We all read it. Over. And over. And over.

I’m pretty much where Brisket is...
However, I have a long term positive outlook for the Republic.
Those are contradictory statements. Brisket has been sermonizing about the dead Republic for months if not a year.

You have maybe 10% of the information you need to make a reasonable prediction about what might happen.

I've answered this question before: nothing. Nothing will cause the GOP to change course, because nothing will cause their Trumpkin base to change course.
There could be video of Trump handing Putin the nuclear codes and accepting a stack of gold bars as payment, and it won't matter. Gods can do no wrong. The base is his, no matter what. And the base is big enough to control the GOP. And thus the GOP congress will do nothing. Game over.
We get it. You've said it. And nobody gives a shit about your faux apocalyptic viewpoint.

If you want to go inside, it's a full day. Golf carts + Gardens is where it's at.
Will be in Paris next month and considering the Normandy trek too. Subscribed
I disagree. I've done both in one morning. Maybe I missed something, but it's a whole lot of "meh" to me.

Grabbing a couple is one thing but there have been times when I would be fighting off the little kids for them, scavenging the stadium aftermath, tossing out the sticky soda remains and stacking them up high. It's not a good look. But I gotta have my comfort drinkware.
I see no problems here.

Uh, let's stop the blowing of France. They're not without their horribly inadvisable actions against us -- see, for instance, their refusal to let US warplanes cross their territory on our way to Libya in 1986.

Why wouldn't you take Mopac? You certainly can take Lamar, but I don't see why that is your default. I feel confident in saying that 90% of the time Mopac will be significantly faster.
You're most likely correct for that particular alternate route, because Lamar tends to suck ass. But, I can get from 2222 to the river faster during rush hour by avoiding MoPac in almost all instances. Balcones -> Exposition -> 9th is rarely a problem. MoPac often is. Plus, it's just far more pleasant.
Honestly, I'll take predictable and slightly slower over the crapshoot that is MoPac any time.

Or better yet, stop at Mont Saint-Michel on the way.

No way would I spend a day at Versailles. Not that it would help much, but I'd probably do a few hours at Versailles on the way to the coast and spend the night.

Hoping we sweep the cockroaches is just setting one's self up for disappointment. I'm more concerned with keeping the dirt burglars off our ass.

Yeah, if grabbing a couple dozen gameday cups is "cheap", I don't want to be livin' large.

If I were a betting man I would guess that the web does extend into career DC politicians, but not on a wholesale level. Some may have gotten caught up in a money grab, perhaps late in the game. Others are probably guilty of "hearing things" and half looking the other way, because votes.
Is this a vast empire of corruption run in an efficient manner by one central actor? No way. Not even if that actor is Putin himself.
