  1. Good Prime Day Deal on 65 Sony OLED https://a.co/d/ae73Pnk
  2. Rewound. Looked like 4 shots, possibly 3 until chamber was empty. Not a huge gun guy but do they make 4 shooters?
  3. I thought for a minute that Lalo got the drop on him and emptied the gun, a la Bryan Mills in Jean-Claude's bathroom.
  4. Why did Gus only have two rounds in the stashed revolver? I didn't understand that. And he looked genuinely surprised/panicked when he was firing empty chambers.
  5. I think we saw Gustavo turn a little corner. He was pretty irritated with Mike and put him in his place. He has tended to back down from Mike in the past. I like the line of thinking that he's going to do something next/soon that asserts his dominance even further. Beheading Kimmy seems a bit extreme but this guy does have an affinity for box cutters so you never know.
  6. Just finished it, underrated point was Lalo switched clips right before he started filming. Armor piercing rounds I would presume? I think he was laughing because he knew he had hit the Chicken Man.
  7. I go to Lowes website and figure out what I want, buy and set up delivery online.
  8. Someone was cutting in line at Roppolo's, I see.
  9. Didn't feel quite right for the fatass or old person thread. Who has one and uses it? Thoughts? My sister (no pics) has been swearing by this thing for months. She has had a litany of physical issues and swears they have all disappeared, including some long standing back issues. She uses it twice a day and it seems to be helping with some anxiety issues as well. I have been having lower back issues so I figured F it, let's try to have an open mind and try it. I'm pretty skeptical by nature but giving it a go. I am 3 days in and I hate it. I think it's causing anxiety issues rather than alleviating them because I'm spending the entire 20 minutes thinking I can't wait to get off of this fucking bed of nails, is the time almost up? But I intend to stick with it.
  10. El needs to use her powers to go back a few years and figure out how Sophomore year Nancy turned into that.
  11. Oh. Ok. My apologies to the OP.
  12. About 6 roma tomatoesTomatillos (you want the volume of the romas:tomatillos to be about 2.5:1 or 3:1)About 1/4 of a big red onionA couple of small garlic cloves (or one big one)2-4 serrano peppers 1/2 - 1 orange habanero1 limeSaltGrill all of it, but the lime and the salt. Get it charred. Add to blender. Add salt and lime juice. Pulse until desired consistency. Refrigerate.
  13. They turned out really good. A little dark as you can see but the consistency was perfect. I'm a sucker for the TPJ rib candy that Champ turned me on to years ago. I finished two racks with a glaze of mango hab rib candy and one with a light glaze of Stubbs sweet heat. The mango hab won going away per the crowd. If I can find whole racks going forward I'm definitely doing them this way. I finally got my big ass spare rib at home like I can get in Austin. I was happy. I didn't want to bust my phone out when serving but they were really nice looking.
  14. 3 racks on right now. I had two STL racks in the freezer and I bought a whole rack and left that one intact after removing the breast bone and cleaning it up a little. Temps crept up to 300 while I was at the gym and they were already getting too much color so I had to wrap them 2 hours in. Let's see how they turn out. I'm thinking these might be done around the 4-4.5 hour mark.
  15. Steven Seagal Best: Under Siege Worst: Under Siege
  16. Yes it was a joke and I agree he needs to STFU. However he did drop ANOTHER pod to apologize for that. I believe he said he didn't know it was a racial slur.
  17. Draymond needs to hurry up and drop a new pod and say something stupid, get his name back to the top of the news cycle.
  18. you know someone is going to get Barry out of prison because they need him to take care of something for them. Probably something to do with Elena/Fernando and they're going to need him to go after Cristobal or Hank.
  19. I wondered where that Ben thought came from. To clarify, I watched S4:E14 last night and had no idea going in that it was the series finale. It was, apparently. Meh.
  20. Wait that was the ending to the series? Someone level with me, I'm too indifferent about this series to type 3 words into Google and look it up.
  21. Perhaps this has already been covered and I don't mean to call anyone out - but who is this Texzilla? Gotta be someone reincarnated? He has come on strong to very strong on a few topics.
  22. Yep. So this is from Serious Eats demonstrating how to trim to make them STL style. If you take that top horizontal line and make it more of a 30 degree angle upward with the right end of it staying in the same spot, that is more how AF and the above mentioned places are serving them it seems. It keeps the bones from protruding as the meat cooks away and keeps most of the tips on the rack. Look at the ends of the ribs - the bone is not sticking out, it's more rounded and you can see the tips. https://www.instagram.com/reel/CXbhPuovtE1/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet
  23. I definitely don't think the trade was settled on draft night. In a group chat with some Piston fan friends everyone agreed it didn't make sense. All Detroit had to do to acquire the 13th pick was take on Kemba's salary for the year? They had to give more. Edit: And of course the protected pick. My theory is actually that NYK traded into the pick because they knew Weaver was hot after Duren and they were trying to pry Ivey from Detroit. When it became clear that wasn't happening they had to make some shit up for future considerations.
  24. https://theathletic.com/3389076/2022/06/28/pistons-knicks-trade-analysis Let me try that again. The Pistons, who had roughly $40 million in cap space going into Tuesday, just two days before a blah free agency period was set to begin, were likely to use their space to take on unwanted contracts in order to acquire assets, as they continue to move forward with a young core. Detroit was able to land two draft picks, a rotational wing and a veteran, defensive-mind big in exchange for eating $19 million in cap space. The Pistons still have about $20 million at their disposal. This trade signals that Detroit is kicking the can down the road one more offseason while emphasizing its even younger core in 2022-23. I reported in early 2021 that the Pistons were looking to turn a real corner in their “restoration” in 2023, when the free agency class is far more intriguing and rival teams might be looking to offload good players in order to add better ones. This specific move signals that the front office hasn’t deviated from that plan. Burks and Noel have team options for next season. If Detroit elects to not pick up either, that will create $19 million in cap space for the summer of 2023. Additionally, the contracts of Cory Joseph and Hamidou Diallo come off the books (that’s a little over $10 million combined). Kelly Olynyk has a partial guarantee of just $3 million if Detroit waives him by June 28 of next year (that would be, roughly, $9 million coming off). Lastly, the dead money of DeAndre Jordan ($7.9 million) comes off next year, too. Add it all up, and the Pistons will easily clear $45 million in cap space for the summer of 2023. In the short term, per sources, Detroit is expected to keep Burks and Noel on the roster. The former has shot over 40 percent from 3 the last three seasons on high volume. The Pistons were one of the worst shooting teams in the league a season ago and were unlikely to get a sharpshooter as good as Burks in the open market. Burks did just undergo foot surgery, but he should be ready to go by the start of training camp. Noel brings veteran leadership to a young Detroit frontcourt while being a reliable option in case of emergency. With these additions, the Pistons will have 13 players under contract once rookies Jaden Ivey and Jalen Duren sign, and assuming a deal with restricted free agent Marvin Bagley III gets done at the end of the week. Per sources, the Pistons have every intention of bringing Bagley back to the Motor City. On the surface, this isn’t a sexy move. It is, however, an effective one. The Pistons round out their roster with reliable vets, add draft capital and plant a flag for the direction moving forward. If you were wondering when Detroit would start seriously turning a corner, you now have your answer.
