  1. This seems like a screaming good deal to me. I bought a PSA 18in 223 Wylde upper based on a recommendation on here years ago and it's "dead on balls accurate". I don't have any practical use for an auto 308 right now and I am nonetheless tempted by this one. https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-gen3-pa10-20-rifle-length-stainless-steel-lightweight-m-lok-moe-2-stage-rifle.html?utm_medium=email&utm_source=daily_deals&utm_campaign=20211022&utm_term=morning&utm_content=51655106380
  2. Anyone have any thoughts on either one of these in 20ga?
  3. I normally agree. I have bought three sets of Michelin tires over the last few years. I had them on my 09 Ram before I traded. Currently have a set on the wife's SUV. Then there was the set on my current Tundra that I dumped today. A second consideration here (aside from the currently inflated price) was wanting something that looked a little more aggressive.
  4. Falken Rubitrek tires are listed on Walmart website for like $60 cheaper than anywhere else. I don't know if it's related but the pictures on the Walmart site are wrong as well. I took a flyer and I ordered four. The correct tires showed up. Got them mounted at a local, independent place today. Couldn't bring myself to pay what they want at Discount for another new set of (excellent) Michelin MTX AT2s.
  5. Lol I am in the youth sports weekend black hole. Maybe Sunday. I put everything together though I just have to get it sighted in.
  6. I have a 2018 cement Tundra as a boat hauler. Post updates about the bumper and any other aftermarket parts. Interested.
  7. Got pics of this truck? How long was the lead time?
  8. The block is necessary as it's part of kitchen decor/organization. That's a realm controlled by Mrs Bigshark. I got this set and it's really filled the bill well: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MSBOCTS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_12FPZ0S4F596H3E5D5VT?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 One trifle I have is the steak knives are serrated which I don't love. Everything was sharp as hell out of the box. Other than steak knife serrations, they're highly recommended for an honest, working family kitchen.
  9. I've been punched in the dick so many times this year by both my boats/trailers/trolling motors. Had a "come to Jesus" moment last Saturday AM at the ramp when the steering knuckle broke on my 250 Yamaha SHO. Spent all this week seriously contemplating making some major divestment.
  10. Got some notifications from Bud's today. They've got ammo in stock they haven't had in over a year. I ordered what I can personally foresee using over the next year and moved along with my day.
  11. Correct me if I am wrong but I don't think Ruger is making a red label currently. At least not in 20ga.
  12. Oh yeah the Freeman may be what you want in legit 3s trying to winch up a limit of snapper. Everything I posted above is 100% about dock / curb appeal. I have no fishing experience in either.
  13. My peer group is all fisherman who now have families and do some sandbar time. Contender and Pathfinder basically control. My "big boat" is a Pathfinder 23HPS. My buddy had lunch with us yesterday and he's in a Contender 33ST (I think - it's the 33 contender with the stepped hull). He's got a deposit down on a Freeman 34 build slot coming in January 2024. Walking the docks yesterday he openly admitted that the Valhalla made the wrapped 34 Freeman look like a high school kids truck. We both fish a lot and eyeball boats all the time. It was notably impressive and put the other boats in their place.
  14. I had lunch at Scipio Creek Marina in Apalachicola, FL yesterday. There was a huge Yellowfin, a 34 Freeman and a brand new Seahunter all tied up to the dock. All were absolutely beautiful. Then there was this Valhalla V41 and it blew everything else away. An amazing boat in all aspects. It really put all the other big sleds to shame: even the various sporties. It was an absolute mic drop by whoever owned it. Every boat owner there would have stepped over the other boats and climbed on the Valhalla had they won the lottery yesterday afternoon. I was sorry I didn't get pics for you Surlys.
  15. Lol I was drinking Irish coffee when I posted that yesterday morning and then I got too drunk to respond later. #murica Fishing boats have trolling motors which the owners frequently use to get out of trouble when they run out of fuel, bang up the prop, blow a power head or similar. Fishing boat "captains", myself included, tend to take for granted how much trouble the troller gets them out of. I was reading Troph's post about wrapping up the prop in a ski line and drifting towards the cliffs. I kept thinking: "drop the troller and hold your spot." But, as a pure fishing guy, I tend to forget that non-fishing boats don't have that (very handy) option.
  16. Fishing honks with trolling motors (guilty) essentially have "Wolverine special healing powers" for when the main power source goes out.
  17. Gunprime has some police trade-in G22s in 40 for a "not retarded" price right now if you want to go bigger. FYI. I don't own a Glock and I don't own a 40 FYI. Just passing this along.
  18. I posted this way up thread but it's worth repeating: everything that comes out of the gun counter guy's mouth should be ignored except for the price of the gun. Just like the Ford salesman guy's mouth. No different. They'll say anything. 90% of the regular posters on this thread know more than 90% of gun counter guys.
  19. I found TJ half doors. Found two locally in blue had to get them painted. Doubled my budget for the project so that's not cool. Got rid of my Smittybuilt bikini top. Got a Best top bikini in the box that I haven't installed yet. Put the header back on and quit after that. Sprayed her down today because I dumped an entire sweet tea in the tub right next to the marine amp under the shotgun seat. I usually take her to the office on sunny Fridays.
  20. I ordered a Pulsar Thermion XM30. I have never done any of this before. Will mount the optic and can, run a few test rounds, and report back.
  21. I got an (expensive) Retrax and I wish it was more waterproof.
