  1. At least it wasn’t Tunsil.
  2. I met Wolfgang's mother today and told her that he and I shared a love of the Grateful Dead and we had gone to Dead and Company on 12/2/17 at the Frank Erwin Center. She shook her head and said, "I always thought that was a phase". We laughed, but I assured her that it was not a phase at all.
  3. I'm so turned on right now.
  4. And Leon's getting larger.
  5. Just listen to the bass in this. It's fucking amazing!!
  6. I was in New Orleans this last week. I knew at the end of the week was Wolfgang's memorial. One night I took a double bourbon back to my room. The hotel I stay at has a great view over the Mississippi and the east side of New Orleans. There is always something to watch going on in town. I was thinking of Ygifs so I listened to one of his favorite songs.
  7. I was lucky enough to hear Phil sing at all 3 of my shows. Here is Broken Arrow.

  9. Damnit damnit damnit. I was at Ygifs memorial service today. It’s going to be a sad night listening to some Phil bomb shows tonight.
  10. Awww damn….this one hurts. Coming off of Ygif’s memorial service I was already planning on getting drunk and listening to some Grateful Dead tonight. Phil was, to me, the greatest bass player ever. For an instrument that is so often subtle and in the background, he played bass more like a lead guitarist. RIP to a fucking legend!!
  11. I had dinner at Gianna last night. It was fantastic. The place had a great ambience as well. It’s an Italian place, so it’s probably not on the foodie list of places to go. But if you are in NO as often as I am, it’s nice to have some options other than “Louisiana” food.
  12. Do you even “Bull Durham”, bro?
  13. Growing up in SA there was always a connection to the Dodgers. Watching the games at VJ Keefe Field was just part of being from San Antonio. We were really spoiled getting to see so many stars roll through before they actually became stars.
  14. He was a sports and cultural phenomenon when he first came into the majors. Fernandomania was a huge thing for Dodger fans. I still remember watching him and then Dave Stewart throw no hitters on the same night. RIP to another sports icon from my youth.
  15. Clockwork Orange when I was probable 11-12
  16. Maybe the water is a little colder than it was a few weeks ago?
  17. The boobies in the bra section.
  18. The “Best” catalogue was a must have when I was a kid. There was nothing better than going through the toy section and circling the things you liked.
  19. I’m in New Orleans and was unable to see the comet last night. I talked to my son back in Houston and he was able to see it.
