  1. Our seats back in 2013, when they celebrated the 50th Anniversary of 1963 in week one (NMSU). Old video board compared to today, but the first time I could ever take a picture of my Dad on it, while sitting in the NEZ. He’d never been on there before, as I can’t remember what they did for the 40th (vs Arky and a game to forget.) Included grandkids with Pa prior to KO and son with David. DM was a roommate of my Dad for about a year and 1/2 in their early years. Hook’em!!!
  2. NEZ is not bad - IMO if at least 15+ rows up, especially closer to the hashes. Big board for replay and as a prior TXHS official (Umpire), that was my view on the field. From a little higher, you can really see a play open up/develop. NW corner provides shade faster for those 11/ early afternoon games. Hook’em!!!
  3. It’ll happen before aggy wins anything in the Men’s Big Three. Hook’em!!!
  4. He’s a local boy, but Rick’s son (SXM-84 on Full Ride,) said his son, on the current UCLA staff didn’t think they’d be getting Nico. Hook’em!!!
  5. Fng Tapa - COLLINS! Hook’em!!!!
  6. Cordell Stewart with his magical seasons at CU doesn’t have his # retired, but they’re going to do S Sanders as he helped put butts in the seats the last two seasons? OK Hook’em!!!
  7. No way Sanders with the retired jersey. TH I understand as he at least won the Heisman as an “electric two-way player” on a mediocre team. Sanders got them to the Alamo Bowl his last season, which BYU frankly exposed the Buffs back to mediocrity. Hook’em!!!
  8. I’ve posted this about this Dude somewhere on Surly, but late ‘90s McNeese picked up a transfer from LSU, RB Cecil “The Diesel” Collin’s. I say “transfer,” but even as electric his early career was at LSU, his pot habit and not going to class was too much. McNeese having played for the NC (‘97) made sense for a “get your shit together”spot. Fall camp and through about the 2/3rd game, on the road to either Youngstown State or Northern Iowa (somewhere up North), and after a great road win, airport security woke his stoned ass up in the empty coaches/players airport parking lot. This was hours after everyone had left and they were checking on the solo car being left behind, with nobody visible from a distance. Anyways, long story made short, 1999 Jimmy Johnson and the Dolphins drafted his ass in the 5th round! NFL and the “too great an athlete” mantra took over. That Dolphins pre-season, Collins lit it up and looked like their best RB on the roster. First couple of games into the season, after early on field success (memory is fading) maybe 3-4 games, and getting more carries each week, he F’d up again! This time he decided to enter another apartment in his complex “naked” and was seen at the foot of a couples bed. Cops got him, because he lived like two doors down. Season over! Last I heard, he was still incarcerated for some reason (Florida?). Hook’em!!!
  9. At least the dog took that guys side. Hook’em!!!
  10. Maybe New Orleans, if they’re desperate enough, with the D Carr “shoulder news” that dropped yesterday/today? Hook’em!!!
  11. Which uniform, if any, is AR going to wear in 2025? Maybe none? Hook’em!!!
  12. F that! Her loss -IMO fatass! Hook’em!!!
  13. Uncle Jeff would strap us both down with Ruger .22 pistols while flagging. The Fng Nutria rats were aggressive back then and the “black birds” that liked to eat the rice feed. He’d just say if you see them, shoot them! We’d then throw the carcasses into the canals for the gators. Hook’em!!!
  14. In the early-mid ‘80s (SETX) my Uncle would have my cousin and me “flag” during heavy crop dusting season. That was back before GPS and the cockpit got computerized. Depending on what they were spaying dictated how far we’d walk before waving the flags. I’m 55 now so I guess that shit wasn’t toxic? I remember on a summer day, we were both 8th and 9th graders going into the next school year. We got a 6-pack of Coca-Cola to start the day at (5:30-6:00 AM) and that shit was gone before 10:00. All we had to drink out in the rice fields was the other “workers” Miller Lite. All Uncle said while refueling was time to man-up boys and let’s get this job done! We were both lit by 2:00. Hook’em!!!
  15. Got the three taco combo at my local DQ yesterday. An hour later, I thought I’d ate Brisket Texan’s chili! I was cleaned out for the final round of the Masters today. Hook’em!!!
  16. Mike Tyson approves. Hook’em!!!
  17. The absolute best parts of Bilbo's su shine pumping is how he always sprinkles in 10 win predictions, he is always hedging them of course, always calling it a ceiling of course, but it is always there for the flavoraide drinking morons. Nevermind that this has only happened once in the entire 21st century, we are a quarter done with it. Bilbo the “sous vide” chef. Hook’em!!!
  18. Mennonite talk is better than jizz jar/red ass - IMO. Hook’em!!!
  19. This late into Spring ball and going to a new offense/team, he might’ve bit off more than Nico can chew. He might end up at somewhere like Fresno or San Diego State. Hook’em!!!
  20. The guy with the wrist tape and hand on hip (right side) is my Dad. That was a picture of them waiting on the results of the coin flip vs OU in ‘63. OU actually entered the weekend #1 vs Texas #2. That was the last time both teams entered that weekend in October: #1 vs #2. Hook’em!!!
  21. Just like when they said Wilfred Brimley was only 50 (Cocoon) when they made that movie. Man I feel old, but don’t look like he did - IMO, and I’m 55. Hook’em!!!
  22. WTF was that aggy wearing under a Masters jacket? Let alone where did that idiot get it? Hook’em!!!
  23. Outside of Lowell, I really miss the LHN during Spring sports. Hook’em!!!
  24. Watch them put our series vs Arky on SEC+ to show Mizzou at Auburn. Just saying! Hook’em!!!
