  1. In that case, he should have never been here. Really bad vetting oversight. Almost Fredo Stoops-level.
  2. Good point, I worry it could be like the ACC is now, where if your game is below the ACC Network line, it's on ESPN3, which costs extra for most people, so few see the game.
  3. Three games starting at either 6:00 or 6:30 tonight? They should maybe spread them out a bit more. Same for Wednesday, which has better games, but both start at 6:00. I hope WKU and MTSU know what they're getting into by potentially going MAC. Apparently these weeknight games are fun for us at home, but often have terrible attendance.
  4. 66-49 BYU final. VA only had 7 second half points.
  5. Ha, guess I spoke too soon! 31-28 BYU now. Amazing.
  6. UNC losing again, but as usual Mack is rocking some sweet UNC apparel.
  7. Jeez, the BYU-Virginia game is over already.
  8. Excuse me? I quoted a line from an editorial that I thought was funny writing and you're telling me to shut up and go CR in the process? Is this why you're a legacy poster and not a real one?
  9. UAB is a surprisingly major medical research institution. Rice is an amazing school, but a fairly small research presence, due to its small size. This particular ranking is not aimed as much at undergraduate educational quality as the regular US News rankings, where Rice is #17 in the country and UAB is probably in the 200s.
  10. Get an upgrade with the new conference coming and stay at UTSA. I'd sure as hell rather make $1.5M per in San Antonio than $3M per in Dirt City.
  11. What if I told you the Circle C HOA manager is actually named Karen?
  12. Good point. By contrast, "big government" California has the following higher education arrangement: 1) U. of California System (includes 6 schools in the US News top 50 national universities) 2) Cal State system (San Diego, San Jose, Sacramento, Long Beach, Fresno etc.) 3) Community Colleges The 7 public university systems in Texas account for ONE school in the US News top 50 (UT-Austin, of course)
  13. Scientologist. Remember the awesome THujone drawing of him in front of a photo of the Scientology center on the drag? Anyway, I looked it up and Scientology has no official stance on the COVID vaccine.
  14. This paragraph is pure fire: The only thing we really know for certain is that nothing Harsin has said about vaccines has made any sense and has the clarity of chilled squirrel-brain soup.
  15. Have you noticed "Rio Grande" in the basketball scores the last few years?
  16. Good for UTSA, but other than them and UAB, that's pretty weak. Marshall, Buffalo, Southern Miss and La. Tech would have been better choices for the rest, IMO.
  17. From my understanding, only the uvaxxed assistants were fired. Early accounts are that there were 4 assistants who got canned. They need the rest of the staff to coach the team Saturday vs. BYU!
  18. What is it, then? According to this article from a nearby paper he grew up Catholic: https://lmtribune.com/sports/rolovich-confirms-he-s-seeking-religious-exemption/article_e9d0ad67-da5d-57cc-8dc8-6f61ec67d9e3.html#:~:text=Rolovich comes from a Catholic background and attended,said%2C “You think it’s been a fun time%3F Rolovich comes from a Catholic background and attended Marin County Catholic High School in the California Bay Area.
  19. Rolovich attended Catholic schools growing up, so if he claimed that was his religion, it was a nonstarter, as the Pope said everybody should get vaxxed. What a dumbass.
  20. So, is everything going to be named either Moody, Waterloo or Violet Crown at some point?
  21. I mean, the difference between this and Eustachy taking posed pics at a frat party while holding a Coors Light next to college chicks seems pretty large to me. Funny that Eustachy was such a big deal at the time. BTW we all thought Holgo was way more prone to this type of incident than good ol' Urbs.
