  1. Is it just me, or is it strange to have “Home of the 12th Man” at their practice field. I get that fans might like that but subconsciously, I’d be concerned that it would instill and sense of inadequacy in their players where they are being consistently reminded that the football team long ago wasn’t good enough and had to be saved by a guy in the stands.
  2. SFA is still FCS FBS P4 - Texas FBS G6 - UTEP, UTSA FCS - SFA, UTRGV DI nonfb - UTA DII - UTPB DII nonfb - UTD, UT-Tyler
  3. I don’t see a world where Auburn’s permanent rivals can be Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. Playing Florida every other year (and Tennessee on the off years) is getting it back somewhat and is far better than it was with the divisional setup where they only play one team in the East other than Georgia each year.
  4. Reposting this since the SEC already floated the setup with Ross Dellenger back in 2023. They took the conference winning % over the last 10 years. The top 8 played 2 of the other top 8 and 1 from the bottom 8, the bottom 8 play did the reverse. The only notable oddity was that Tennessee (after having an atrocious decade+) was in the bottom 8 (and at number 13 I might add) so Alabama/Saban is yelling about having to play the hardest schedule known to man. A few games might move around but I think this setup is the most likely. Missouri: Oklahoma, Arkansas, Vanderbilt Arkansas: Missouri, Texas, Ole Miss Texas A&M: LSU, Texas, Mississippi State Texas: Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Arkansas Oklahoma: Texas, Missouri, Florida LSU: Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Alabama Ole Miss: Mississippi State, LSU, Arkansas Mississippi State: Ole Miss, Kentucky, Texas A&M Alabama: Auburn, Tennessee, LSU Auburn: Alabama, Georgia, Vanderbilt Vanderbilt: Tennessee, Auburn, Missouri Tennessee: Vanderbilt, Alabama, South Carolina Kentucky: Mississippi State, South Carolina, Georgia Georgia: Auburn, Florida, Kentucky Florida: Georgia, South Carolina, Oklahoma South Carolina: Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky https://www.si.com/college/2023/03/03/sec-football-schedule-dellenger-opponents-for-each-team-new-format Most difficult schedule is Florida who pulls OU now as their random made for TV rivals but second is Auburn then LSU. Easiest is Mizzou then Ole Miss, Miss State, and South Carolina.
  5. They need to get aggy students familiar with their brand/products so they’ll be more job ready and prepared for work after graduation.
  6. They’ll still be more valuable than Purdue. It’s like running from a lion, you just have to be faster than the slowest guy…
  7. It’s Winnie. She put out.
  8. This check out. Some of you guys need to lower your expectations of our new conferencemates and their fans.
  9. I need a T-shirt that says I threatened Apple with a 25% tariff but instead of a gold plated butt plug all I got was this lousy T-shirt.
  10. Does anyone care what other fans think about us? This list basically just follows the SDS poll they put out before we even joined…but he’s less annoyed by aggy, Oklahoma, Auburn, and more annoyed by LSU, gamecocks, and ole miss.
  11. I actually believe they are right and aggy recruits are being dropped. This happened to Texas in the later years of FUPM up until Sark because we did a horrendous job of developing talent. So if there were a borderline recruit they’d drop if they committed to Texas and would go up if they committed to Alabama. Seeing the number one class of all time flame out and with Elko not having many skins on the wall it’s not completely reasonable to think they’d get the same treatment until they prove it on the field/in the draft.
  12. This is an incredibly naive take. As a father of both a son and daughter I agree that there should be an easy way to access criminal records to protect women but this site is an online slander forum that gives men no ability to correct or remove verifiable false information. I don’t agree with the hack, but understand why people may have had strong negative feelings about a site like this which sounds like it would violate Europe/California data privacy protection laws.
  13. But if they go to 9 games then the SEC would want the 4422 model…
  14. Is this the same one that slapped the French president a few months back? yes it was https://www.thetimes.com/world/europe/article/emmanuel-macron-wife-brigitte-slap-video-vietnam-bgn8n9qtz
  15. It is, UNC is likely the only school outside a handful in the Big Ten that the SEC would expand for.
  16. UNC to the SEC confirmed /jk
  17. LA Tech is officially leaving CUSA for the Sun Belt Conference (replacing Texas State in the West) https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/louisiana-tech-accepts-invitation-to-sun-belt-replacing-texas-state-after-departure-to-pac-12/ Sun Belt will remain at 14 CUSA drops to 10
  18. Unless he graduated or gets a waiver he’ll have to sit out this season. Transfer portal is closed.
  19. In actual realignment news…
  20. NFL Legend?
  21. Next year they add UC-Davis (non fb for now) and Northern Illinois (fb only). NMSU and Sac State are still available, plus they might be interested in Cal Poly as well.
  22. Only when we go head to head with Stanford…
  23. Yes the AAC’s TV deal is better…for now. Memphis and Tulane are getting a bigger share of it so they aren’t going anywhere other than if they are invited by the P4…for now. Moving to the Sun Belt would be a clear step down for the AAC teams, I simply stated that in Louisiana Tech’s nonP4 dream scenario that is the best case scenario what they could wish for.
  24. The reason is their president and AD have never wanted to associate with ULM. But they realize the writing is on the wall this time as the Sun Belt is a better conference with a better TV deal which also limits travel costs. The 6 teams in the Sun Belt Western division is basically a bus league for LA Tech while CUSA has maybe 4? teams they could bus to. LA Tech would prefer to join the American with UAB/Memphis but has seen programs like UNT, UTSA, FAU, and UNCC pass them by. The Sun Belt with Southern Miss, App State, Georgia Southern, Marshall, and Coastal Carolina are far more attractive than anything left in CUSA. Add in Memphis and ECU for 16 and the Sun Belt would be nearly perfect for them (their unrealistic dream would be to drop both the Bama schools and ULM for UAB, Tulane and Rice).
  25. Sac State leaving Big Sky and joining Big West in all sports but football (Independent but trying to move up to FBS) https://newuniversity.org/2025/06/24/california-state-university-sacramento-to-join-big-west-in-2026/ Two Utah schools (Utah Tech and Southern Utah) and joining the Big Sky https://www.montanasports.com/college/big-sky-conference-adding-southern-utah-utah-tech Texas schools (Tarleton, UTA, Abilene Christian) are staying in the WAC (keeping tournament bids and exit fees) and bringing in the Eastern based football schools (West GA, North Bama, Austin Peay (TN), Eastern Kentucky, and Central Arkansas) from the Atlantic Sun into the WAC and rebranding under their football league’s name United Athletic Conference. https://fbschedules.com/multiple-fcs-football-leagues-realigning-per-report/
