  1. Who did you vote for for governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general in the last two elections?
  2. You said in that post that having a gun pointed at you was "never" a threat and later on you said that they "can be dangerous." Even your "astronomically low" doesn't equal "never" in my book. Guns are deadly. I don't want my safety to be put at risk by some pussy ass bitch that thinks he looks cool with his open carry gun even if the odds are astronomically low that his dumbass shoots me. Why should we increase the odds of death or dismemberment just because trailer park boy wants to look cool buying brunch tacos at Fuel City?
  3. True. Was just hoping they might be an exception since they're new.
  4. Ask fatty. He's done it. At least he admitted that other people's kids don't move the needle for him, but if his own kids get shot he might reconsider things. Unfortunate for his kids that they'll be dead before their father thinks to even reconsider his gun fetish.
  5. Gross image from the story you linked It's right there on the gun: Freedom! Buy more guns to protect freedom!
  6. You know that our state government would never allow home-rule cities to restrict open or unlicensed carry.
  7. Thanks for the heads-up. Was looking at my calendar and was thinking Monday might be a good day.
  8. Glad we can agree on that. I also appreciate that it appears that you acknowledge the risk of an accidental discharge. Do you guys sell shoulder holsters?
  9. I need to make trying Brisket & Rice a priority.
  10. I was always taught in my NRA gun safety classes when growing up to treat every gun like it was loaded and ready to fire. I was also taught to never point a gun, loaded or unloaded, at another human being. Is that no longer the current school of thought in gun safety?
  11. I've never been able to bring myself to watch that episode.
  12. WTF? I'm not sure I would be rubbing up on Scout until he had a bath after that performance.
  13. Reading the replies and it looks like Elon's goal of turning Twitter into Truth is right on track.
  14. We were told it's never a danger. But let's just say he's got one in the chamber and the safety is off. He reaches across his body with his right hand to itch that scabies rash that has been festering on his left side. At what point is our photographer justified to start blasting our good guy with a gun in the back with his brunch Glock?
  15. So far just one. Shelby County votes on Pearson this afternoon.
  16. What you're experiencing is folks that have been open to productive discussion and compromise for years that have been constantly shut down by the NRA and their legislative stooges who are completely disingenuous. People are getting tired of negotiating with terrorists. At some point, we realize it's pointless and just say fuck it. I grew up around guns, I hunted and loved target shooting growing up. My wife and I both have a good time when we go shoot clays, but at this point I don't need access to those toys if it means we can move away from the sick gun culture in this country. Fuck it. Burn it to the ground. I know, it's the fault of the democrats. I guess I'll go back to voting republican.
  17. Yep, and it's already happening. No amount of lobbying is going to change it.
  18. And there's the problem in one sentence.
  19. That's one way to kick the can down the road. He can just stack indictment upon lawsuit upon indictment upon lawsuit in perpetuity and just argue that there's too much publicity. It's definitely a strategy.
  20. Given the make-up of our state legislature, it's probably a waste of money for any of the major cities to spend a dime on lobbying. It's not like it's going to change any minds.
  21. Where does one go to see a drag queen bite into a live, beating heart? Asking for a friend.
  22. You missed the talking point that the presence of a gun in a conflict actually leads to de-escalation. That's my new favorite one brought to us by our resident arms dealer, not that he has anything to gain from selling assault weapons and assault weapon related accessories.
  23. I lived in AZ for nearly 20 years and I liked not having the time change. I didn't pick up, as has been pointed out, that this was to be permanently on daylight savings time and not standard time, which I agree would be stupid.
  24. He's afraid of men twerking because it turns him on.
