  1. Yeah, replacing them is a huge PITA and it isn’t really worth it these days. Parts cost a little more but the labor is less, and you get new bushings, too.
  2. Ahh, gotcha. I’m still on my stock lowers (at 130k), but I do want to replace them whenever I get around to having the Icon coilovers rebuilt. I am running JBA uppers now, and they’ve been solid. I like the special bushings they have that allow easy greasing without them trying to push out from the arm. They also have grease-able and replaceable ball joints.
  3. The stock upper and lower control arms have no serviceable fittings, though. Were yours replaced at some point?
  4. That helmet cam view was sweet.
  5. The Predator bars do suck. You can get some rock sliders that either bolt or weld on that have a step built onto them. Then you get good double usage out of it.
  6. What lift? Also we’re there a decent amount of miles on it before the lift? May be the upper control arm bushings.
  7. I went and looked and it looks like I had the Weatherbeater line, which seems like it might be the cheaper product of the two. The X-Act Contour looks to be the nicer product. That one is probably comparable the Weathertech.
  8. Weathertechs are great. I had Husky before and didn’t like the more slimy feel of the material, but that may be different now.
  9. I think it sold out in like 3 minutes.
  10. I agree. That is one of the things I like about my FJ. It was made in the Hino plant where commercial trucks are also built. I also think that the Japanese-built Toyota stuff really is one order of magnitude better built than the Toyota-USA stuff is.
  11. It was. You can see it mid-flap in the second to last photo. It was being loud, too. Little bastard.
  12. Yeah, I freaking love Rhett’s videos.
  13. One of y’all needs to get a Serus. https://www.novoguitars.com/serus
  14. It came and went since no-one bought it.
  15. I watched this Kite for a while. I realized that mom and dad were bringing it food (cicadas). This juvenile actually looks relatively similar to a juvenile Cooper’s or Red Shouldered.
  16. I like the TFL guys a lot, especially the off-road stuff. Similar to Papadakisracing, Ryan Tuerck’s channel has some cool stuff. The “Formula Supra” build is incredible (Judd V10 in MK5 time attack Supra). Richrebuilds Dennis Collins - the “Coffee Walk” videos are great, every Friday. And SOME of the Donut Media videos are cool, but that main dude James tries way too hard. Jeremiah is cool.
  17. Nice thread! My stuff ain’t that fancy. Just a Marantz 2245 (also have a 2215b), Technics 1200 MKII, and Pioneer HPM-100. Also have some Bose 10.2 Series II that my dad won in a contest in the 80s. They’re actually surprisingly decent. I’d like some vintage Forte II or Cornwall eventually.
  18. I missed Big Boy this year, but here are a few shots from 2019 showing scale somewhat.
  19. I unfortunately was not able to make it to see Big Boy again, but it was a decent weekend for birds.
  20. That was certainly a bunch of cars going around a track, I guess. Crashville.

What’s the seller rating? Was there a description of it in the listing? That doesn’t answer all questions, but I typically don’t even buy from sellers that won’t take time to write even a short description of the record in the listing, unless they have an extremely stellar rating. Looks like I have made 78 orders from Discogs. Only really had issues with a handful. Returned maybe 2 or 3 for being the wrong record (not matching the listing), and had a few that were overgraded, but I have come out ahead on others too, so it evens out mostly.
