  1. Also, this is a cool comparison video. Like a ghost in racing games.
  2. I think that they should put their eggs in the Lewis basket here pretty soon. The WCC is starting to become out of reach, but they have a shot at the WDC if they go all-in on Lewis, I think. However, this is really all dependent on if they bring any damn upgrades. They have only brought a few very small things, with the last being in Imola. There are rumors they may have some stuff in Austria, but if not, hell, I don’t know how they expected to win this year.
  3. Interesting other fact; Charles and Max were the only 2 stoppers.
  4. Yeah, once they didn’t pit first for the second stop, they were forced to go long on the one stop. Kind of ironically, the vibration issues Bottas had from locking up caused him to pit first on the first stop, causing Max to cover him off and then subsequently undercut Lewis. At the same time, Perez being able to be right there is going to throw a lot of wrenches in the spokes for Mercedes.
  5. But yeah, barely. It’s a crappy circuit, but not as bad as Monaco in that sense.
  6. It’s possible in the west in some spots, but I’m still too “afraid” to go on a trip without reservations. I prefer to know where I am going to stay!
  7. The auto will be better/easier off-road, if that matters.
  8. There is definitely a bit of a waiting game to be played at Navajo Bridge. I stayed in Page for two nights just hoping to get Condor shots. The first evening it was too windy and there was only one hanging out and I got pretty unusable pics. The second night was when it all came together. I was gonna try and stay in these cabins/lodge nearby, but I was too late in booking and there were none left. Would’ve made the 45 minute drive from Page into about 6. Maybe next time.
  9. I saw Teresa Lake. There is another but I didn’t go over there. There was still a lot of snow on the trail and I was hurrying back for a cave tour that I actually F’d up the time on (so it was pointless getting back for anyway). The Condors were at Navajo Bridge.
  10. Nice. Apparently OrangeBoxx has really, really, really abhorrent customer service anyway, so you won doubly. I made my own drawers for the back of mine. I like them, but they were expensive to make then (3-4 years ago), and I can’t imagine the cost it would take today with how high lumber is now.
  11. Been a while since we saw that many cars off in a dry session.
  12. https://yokeoutdoors.com/ Price just went up $30, but you can get a discount code for I think 10% off by doing the email thing.
  13. It’s a damn tank. This one is a ‘73. I found it at an estate sale for $8. Replaced the pump leather and just cleaned the tank, and that’s it. I still want a white gas lantern, I just haven’t come across one yet. I don’t really care to pay a premium for it. Of course, I haven’t been to an estate sale either since COVID.
  14. Yep. Seeing California Condors and Great Basin Bristlecones (Pinus longaeva) were the goals for this trip. I completed both, though the Bristlecone photos were just okay (the better ones are in a grove I didn’t get to). It was incredible seeing both of them, though. Both were bucket-list type items for me.
  15. I guess I can post a few pics of the trip too.
  16. Speaking of car camping stuff, I got a chuck box and used it for the first time on a recent trip to Great Basin and Capitol Reef. This thing is awesome. Totally worth the money. Makes everything easy. Also used a computer oven. It’s nice to have without having to utilize a Dutch oven, but unfortunately the heat buildup did cause a little bit of melting on top of the chuck box. Regardless, it’s a great product and I would recommend it.

The whole thing is great, but man, Cobb’s cymbals on “All Blues” are just allsome. Also, I can’t stop listening to the One Flight Up Tone Poet that MC sent me, and damn that is a great sounding record as well.
  18. And a few other random things. Also shot some E100 on 120 with the RB, but I need to finish the second roll and ship that off. Who knows if that will turn out.
  19. The other was seeing the magnificent Pinus longaeva, or Great Basin Bristlecone. The trees I saw aren’t the most photogenic ones that exist, and the lighting was harsh, but I was just happy to be in their presence. I had seen a few juvenile examples before (like this photo): but never any giants. These things are so cool to see.
  20. And a few less-impressive not-great shots of some other guys.
  21. I was finally able to knock a few things of my bucket list. They hopefully will not be the last examples, but I was pretty excited to get them. Here is the first. -Y and V5 are still juveniles. These guys are just such magnificent creatures to see soaring down on you. I think I saw 6 or 7 different birds. It was incredible.
