  2. I'd honestly rather D White play. Shoots about the same from 3 as Forbes, much better at driving
  3. Having 8 of California's top 100 recruits work at that fancy restaurant is a pretty good start
  4. Yeah, looks like the only game for IMG that hasn't been a blowout has been the game they lost to Mater Dei

  6. https://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-4/assassins-creed-odyssey Looks to be getting pretty good reviews. I'll probably grab this eventually but only recently picked up Origins and will try playing through that and some other games before this one.
  7. Here's some more details that have been released in the previews that have been coming out this past week: Camp/gang The tents in the camp are upgradable, unlock new features. Example: Dutch tent unlocks a fast travel map Talk to your gang members during horse rides Gang members also loot bodies after a fight so you have to loot before they do You have to share a portion of your loot with the camp via 'donations' The camp is optional Your allies flank and give covering fire Morale is important. Alcohol raises morale Keeping the camp happy will give hidden benefits Story The gang is still in it's heyday when the game starts RDR2 starts with the Blackwater robbery and afterwards they flee to the Grizzly's. The gang left their money in Blackwater Arthur could take prisoners, leave them to die in the snowy mountain or kill them on the spot When and how you complete missions is irrelevant to the story. This is no Witcher so no multiple outcomes and endings. How you complete missions does have an impact on how NPC's react to you Arthur Arthur can swim, but not very well Arthur has to wear the right clothing for weather or suffer stamina penalties Removing bandanna after committing a crime makes the wanted level go away faster No more full outfits but full customization Layered clothing Tuck your pants into your boots, wear belts over clothing, roll up your sleeves, etc. Arthur can get fat or skinny. So eat healthy and exercise You can wear dead animals as hats You can lose your hat but it will spawn on your horse Mirrors reflect and Arthur will make comments: "You are getting old Arthur." Arthur get dirt under his fingernails You can take a bath Beards grow and you have to groom them. Barbers do a better job than you. Lighting strikes (which could hit you) AI/NPC's NPC's remember behavior. Example: NPC remembered Arthur helped him after a snake bite A farmer will behave differently then a sheriff NPC's put bounties on your head and bounty hunters will come after you You can talk with every NPC and the remember your conversations NPC's comment if you are dirty/bloody Most NPC's have terrible dental hygiene NPC's react to environment and lean on things Townspeople remember your crimes even after you paid your bounty All NPC's have schedules The AI maneuvers around you, seek cover and even climb houses to gain the high ground. If you don't hit NPC's in vital organs they might absorb multiple bullets NPC's might fall to the ground but get back up to surprise you Hand to hand combat is more dynamic. Faces deform after getting hit. Black eyes, bruises, broken lips. People grown when crouching or picking stuff up Animal cruelty is a crime. Shoot a dog and someone will tell the sheriff When you join a group in conversation they will talk about you too Gameplay You have to pull back the hammer before you can fire Gunfights are much slower Cover is really important When hit you can gain a limp and lose stamina You can pet animals. Petted dogs won't bark at you again Prisoners can be tied to trees Play honorable and gain more bounty cash Dollars are as much worth as in 1899 Shoot hats of people and steal them Move-able dead bodies Track-able animals Shoot horses so they throw off their rider Deadeye: now has 5 levels, Level 1 allows for slowdown, Level 2 allows you to paint targets and unleash a barrage of shots, and Level 3 allows you to manually pick your shooting points, etc. Shoot weapons out enemies hands Crafting weapons, foods, drinks, etc. Dive rolling and diving while shooting in deadeye Bounties return Train heists outside of missions Hunt legendary animals Hunting with bow gives more money for pelt You can see where you hit an animal All buildings are enterable Fire warning shot at animals and NPC's Weapons Can hold these weapons at the same time: 2 small guns, 2 rifles, lasso, throwing weapons and a knife. Guns have stats You have to clean your weapons or their stats become lower and they might jam Guns sound really powerful and make booming sounds. Sounds carry really far Every part of the gun is customizable. From the hammer to the grip. Bullets load one by one Bow and arrow count as rifle but is stealthy Double wielding again confirmed Shotguns blow off arms and legs Guns have way more recoil Bandolier: Ammo capacity for longarm weapons is increased by 50% Gunbolt: Base ammo for sidearms is increased by 50% Holster: Slow degradation of all weapons by 20% You can spin guns when putting them away TNT throwing, throwing knives and gattling guns return Different types of ammo and ammo is craftable Weapons rust Horse Dynamic horse testicles, they shrink in cold weather Name your horse You can scold or praise your horse Whistle radius grows when the horse bond grows Horse equipment is fully customizable, from the saddle that has golden pins to the hair A Dutch preview said they put dreadlocks in the hair of their horse Horses shit dynamically Walk your horse around Jump from your horse onto a moving train Brush your horses. Arthur makes remarks about the horse depending on the horses gender Store horses in stables so you have more backup horses Horses die and can't be resurrected Tell a horse to flee to spare it's life Horses kick behind them. In one preview they even killed a man Horses have personalities Horses move sideways Horses can learn tricks Horse balls expand and contract in hot or cold weather Controls Sprinting by tapping (X) Weapon system similar to Max Payne 3. Weapon wheel. Customizable HUD. Remove at will the radar, HUD or compass Aim assist can be tuned down First person and 3 third person views confirmed Cinematic killcam from Max Payne 3. Depends on your honor level from which perspective you see it. Stealth and crouching confirmed Tricorn camera's and selfies confirmed Miscellaneous John Marston and Bill Williamson have the same voice actor as the last game Opossums play dead like in real life Drive-able trains The map contains 5 states: Lemoyne, Ambarino, New Hannover, West Elizabeth and NEW AUSTIN Dead bodies won't despawn but decompose and attract scavengers Newspapers return Condensation and glowing heat from bullets Snow trails Mountains rise above the cloud line. So no dynamic weather Hunted animals make terrible dying sounds Animals have a different marker than dead bodies You are able to pick up most items in the game Different camera angles Spilled oil has that "rainbow" look to it 192 music tracks from original composer Physics just like real life Honor system returns Prostitutes can be used but no full nudity Gunfight legendary shooters You might find notes in drawers and learn useful information Dynamic weather yet again confirmed Online won't be available when the game drops
  8. In terms of how long single player games usually last these days, this game was a bit short. There will be 3 paid dlcs by the end of 2018, which I'm not a huge fan of but will probably try at least one out to see if its worth it.
  9. I wasn't sure there was anything that could make me hate that sorryass piece of shit more than I did before, but this is it. I only wish he'd been ripped off even worse.
  10. There's a best of e3 sale for PS4 right now that includes Origins. Available until the 19th: https://store.playstation.com/en-us/grid/STORE-MSF77008-BESTOFE3SALEGG/1
  11. Witcher 2 had my favorite opening of any game I've ever played and just watching this got me into the series. The books are great and really show that a ton of work went into Witcher 3. It adds so much depth to the world, in addition to all of the lore available in game. I've only completed the game once not including DLC, part of the way through that, but it's a masterpiece. On my ng+ playthrough I'm going to spend more time reading the notes, beastiary, character bios, use fast travel less and enjoy the visual upgrades they've made since realease. I'm pretty sure CD Projekt Red has said they're pretty sure that 3 was the end of Geralt's story, maybe there's a possibility of them making another after Cyberpunk 2077, which should be super badass
  12. Regarding the Better Business Bureau complaints, anyone that bought any bbb shit in the first place is a fucking retard and deserved what they got
  13. Link to ign article here: http://www.ign.com/articles/2018/05/03/worlds-first-look-at-red-dead-redemption-2 But there is also a summary found on reddit I'll paste in case you don't want to follow the link: Gang interaction is a big deal, and taking care of your gang's camp matters. As Dutch’s right-hand man, Arthur plays an important role in the upkeep of the gang, not just in terms of supplies but also the morale of the gang. If food and resources are aplenty then spirits will be high, which is reflected in the mood of the camp. People will be singing and dancing, and you’ll be greeted with cheer. But if the food supply runs low, you’ll quickly know about it – people will mutter angrily about where the next meal is coming from. As a senior member of the gang, many will look to Arthur to provide, through hunting or buying supplies, and he’ll be rewarded for doing so. But thankfully the responsibility doesn’t fall entirely on your shoulders – Rockstar is keen to emphasise the camp will continue regardless of your input and is spending a lot of time balancing Arthur’s responsibilities with having fun. Your gang will come to you when supplies run low, and it's up to you to decide to help or not. This comes through ambient dialogue, and doesn't trigger cutscenes. Apparently there's a lot of interactions like this. Rockstar is trying to blur the lines between what’s a story mission and what’s a side quest, instead presenting them all as opportunities given to Arthur. Many are contextual too, dependent on the time of day, where you are and who you’re with. Arthur has a variety of ways to interact with people around him, who will react differently based on their personalities. When Arthur exits the camp and rides his horse along the dirt track, he’ll soon meet other people. Much like real life, they’re a mixed bunch; some are pleasant and polite, others are less welcoming. You have complete control over how Arthur acts in the world, thanks to a sophisticated interaction system represented by a number of choices displayed in the bottom right of the screen, such as Greet or Antagonise. These dynamically change depending on a number of factors, including where you are, who you’re talking to, choices you’ve made previously in the interaction and so on, and even though most of the HUD was switched off for the demo it was still obvious how much freedom the player is given. There are other factors that impact the response you receive too. A farmer didn’t take too kindly to Arthur riding close to his land, telling him to move on in no uncertain terms. Likewise, a lone traveller resting against a fallen tree trunk is similarly wary when you trot past at dusk. They describe a situation where Arthur attempts to burglarize a fisherman's camp as he's distracted with his fishing. However, the fisherman has a dog who barks at Arthur and alerts the fisherman who attempts to chase him away: "but he’s no match for the outlaw, who tells him to turn around and run. He doesn’t, so Arthur tries a more forceful approach, pushing him to the ground. It works and the fisherman scrambles to his feet and flees." Horses have been improved in a number of big ways. Firstly, Rockstar wants you to think of your horse as a companion rather than a disposable mode of transport, and as such you’ll build up a bond with your mount the more time you spend with it, calming it when it’s agitated, grooming it and feeding it. If you have a strong bond with your horse it’ll be generally be less skittish and calmer in firefights, and more inclined to do as you want, while an untrained horse is more unpredictable. Your horse will only come to your whistles if it's close enough to hear them, it also carries most of your supplies; including large weapons. When you dismount, your horse stays where it is: yes, you can call it with a whistle, but that’ll only work if it’s nearby. Bearing in mind your horse now not only gets you from A to B, but also carries most of your supplies and larger weapons, you’ll always want to know where it is. Hunting has also been improved, and seems to be far more in-depth. With the string pulled tight, he whistles to draw the deer’s attention and fires, the arrow striking it in its leg. It cries out in pain and attempts to run, but the wound is deep and, after following a blood trail for a few seconds, Arthur finds the buck collapsed on the ground, still alive but kicking its legs and screeching in agony. Arthur draws his knife and finishes what he started, plunging the blade into the animal’s heart. Small animals will feed the camp for a short amount of time, whereas large animals can provide for much longer. After killing an animal, you must transport it. But first, Arthur needs to get it back to Pearson, picking up his prey and throwing it over his shoulders. It’s heavy, and Arthur is noticeably debilitated while carrying such a beast. Thankfully his horse is just a whistle away, and strapping the kill on the back of his mount makes the return journey a more enjoyable ride. However, a word of caution – dead animals decay over time and while small prey can be wrapped and stashed in your satchel to prolong their use, the carcass of a deer left in the scorching midday sun will soon turn. Ensuring the buck is returned to the camp cook as soon as possible is therefore a priority. Animals can be sold to butchers, but the condition you bring them in matters. The same applies if you’re looking to sell the animal to a nearby butcher – the better the condition of the meat, the greater your reward. Equally, an animal riddled with buckshot will attract less of a reward than a clean kill with a single arrow. After this, they talk about a small bank heist mission, and the choices you're given in how to approach it. From instructing your gang on what kind of distraction to provide, and how to open the safes during the heist itself. Dead-Eye is back, and features cinematic kills. But it’s too late – the sheriff and his deputies are already on the scene. Karen now tries the lost little girl act, walking out of the bank saying it was all a terrible mistake. Seconds later she’s followed by Arthur, who kicks open the doors, Dead Eye at the ready. From the demo Dead Eye looks much the same as in the last game; the screen turns sepia and the action slows, giving the player a few seconds to mark targets before shooting. The four lawmen hit the dirt in a hail of gunfire before Arthur turns his focus to the deputies firing from on top of buildings. Long-distance kills play out in slow motion, shown from a reverse angle so you can fully appreciate the kill Your hat can be knocked off, and you either have to retrieve it, or buy a new one. Just as Arthur is about to climb on his horse a bullet fizzes past his head, knocking his hat clean off. According to Rockstar it’s not a prescribed moment, just something that can happen, and if you lose your hat it won’t miraculously reappear in the next scene – you’ll have to go back and get it if you’re willing to risk the heat, or buy another when you get the chance
  14. IGN did a video/article and released some details about the game, this is just a copy and paste of some of those details and activities within the game that I found on reddit: Can rob people Dialogue choices NPCs will react differently depending on your behavior, appearance, actions You can pour coffee and check up on your gang You can care for your gang and be rewarded for looking after them Small scale robbery with Bill was shown Demo took place in New Hanover (Handover?) You can watch farmers herd animals, bugs in your ears Demo was on base PS4 You can skin animals. It’s graphic, you can either drop the carcass or put it on your horse Animals shot can be injured and attempt to escape. You can follow trails of blood to find the animal and then kill it. Meat and animals will rot. Amount of meat is based on how you kill it. Arrows will get you the most whereas weapons like shotguns won’t. Your bond with your horse will result in different behaviors. If it’s strong, it’ll stick with you during gunfights Your weapons will be stored on the horse. Take care of it. If it dies, you’ll have to start the bonding process over with a new horse If injured, your horse can bleed out. If you wait too long, the horse can die. The robbery takes place in Valentine. Not clear if it’s free roam, side mission, or story mission Continuous camera, not different angles and shots. You can watch everything from one single camera angle. Dead Eye returns. Camera angles change depending on how you kill the person using Dead Eye You groom and feed your horse, calm it when agitated and it stays put when you dismount so you must be nearby to call it. You can grow a bond with your mount that makes it respond better to what you want it to do and makes it more relaxed You can react to people in different ways I.e when meeting someone 'Greet or Antagonise' Large carcasses rot if left out too long which equals less pay You also get more reward for a clean kill (arrows) from butcher Deadeye is basically the same as old game Horses carry your weapons and they won't run off cliffs or do stupid things like before You can affect the mood at camp by making sure they have enough food, resources which affects morale if positive they will be dancing, singing and telling stories Found out names of some unknown gang members: Lenny, Karen, Sean McGuire (who is described as an Irish joker) Pearson (cook) Micha Bell and Sadie Your hat can fall off and you have to go back and pick it up or buy a new one New camps will be made often as the law heats up on Dutch There is a huge level of choice in the game which will define who you are in the gang
  15. That's the thing I haven't been able to figure out. Maybe the uncle thinks they can get huge endorsement deals? With as much as he's be giving up i wouldn't think it would make up for it.
  16. Danny Ainge seems like an arrogant cocksucker so hopefully he would think he could make it work with the agent and uncle if that's what it comes to. He had no problem taking on Kyrie Irving who was leaving the top finals contender in the East so maybe the people around Kawhi would be way down the list of concerns. I'm well aware of the fact that the scenarios are different, its a complicated case with a lot of ins and outs and what have yous
  17. Well, yeah but it seems he trusts the uncle completely. He has over 20 years of retail banking experience after all....
  18. Good podcast, its worth a listen if you have time. There's just a little bit added on to the article and also some things that have been similarly speculated here. After taking in all of the information from Shelbourne and seeing some of the thoughts of a few here that I agree with (mitch and patrick bateman in particular) I'm kind of thinking the same thing. I've looked at some of the proposals that have come out in the past few months and this one is one of the few that I've been ok with. I also wouldn't mind a deal involving Jason Tatum but at this point, I don't think Boston would make that deal because A) He's looked like a BMF in the playoffs, and B) With the injury situations with Kyrie and Hayward, I don't think they would take on an injury risk like Kawhi given what everyone knows now. I don't think I've seen any proposals but the only other player I'd want to see involved is Porzingis and I don't think Knicks would give him up for anything at this point
  19. Adding on to this: https://www.theopening.com/national-leaderboard
  20. Going to need this option for hiding images in posts when recruiting starts to pick up
