  1. Maybe it’s time to get key starters who have had injuries off the field? Maybe?
  2. Ok Sark. Quit fucking around and go back to the gas.
  3. All the Gundy fuckery and Refs doing everything to help out, the Refs to Okie state and Yomark are still probably -
  4. Going Catholic, Judaism, maybe a wildcard taking his talents to the Church of Christ?
  5. This drive CFP Committee head radioing Referee: Engage Operation Duck Referee: Understood.
  6. My father-in-law graduated from UT in ‘63. He recently brought up the aggy game in college station from that year because his aggy friends still complain about it. Texas had to come back in the final minutes to win from being down 13-3. Texas needed a touchdown (then down 13-9) to win and our back up QB threw what looked to be an interception in the end zone but it was ruled out of bounds. We scored thereafter to beat 2-7-1 aggy. I guess SWC refs liked us back then! My FIL also remembers Navy challenging our being named national champions after the regular season and we then on to beat them and Roger Staubach pretty easily in the Cotton Bowl.
  7. I recall needing a history class. Saw no line at all at the history table in the concourse. Walked up and said I needed to sign up for the course. I was told there was a wait line for the class and they pointed me towards inside of the arena. Walked in and section 26 was pretty much filled with people waiting for the class.
  8. I don’t think we get in. I’m not debating the what ifs, 100% or 0% chances/guarantees scenarios. But, if we do get in, I want it to be by the skin of our teeth. I want the committee to make it evident that we were reluctantly selected, but for another team losing out. Then, I want us to win it all and shove it up their asses.
  9. It’s going to be lot easier than that. Elko will only collect a base salary.
  10. Yes this. If you go the CFP website page with its selection protocols, the very first sentence states that selecting football teams is an art not a science.
  11. to get them to . . . 8-4. Reminds me of Pink Floyd’s the Wall beginning and ending “Isn’t this where . . . we came in.” The whole doomed to repeat the mess cycle message.
  12. He didn’t say anything about me. Right? You’re good with me too Rimbo. - Barry Sanders
  13. Stupid sip. We identified our safety coach first, so he was our first choice.
  14. That doesn’t matter very much. Will still suck. - Your friend, Mike Sherman
  15. If aggy believes that TexAgs is a true representation of its alumini and fan base, I don’t know what is worse 1) that they believe that or 2) that it’s true. edit: obligatory why not both
  16. Look, it really is not that difficult. A “guideline” is a general recommendation. It’s not a requirement. See the clip below from Pirates of the Caribbean for help and understanding. Go to the 25 second mark. Here are two hypothetical examples of the use of a “guideline” and mandatory, no exceptions criteria. See if you can figure out which is which. In making its selection determination - the committee considers whether a one loss candidate school is its conference champion in comparison to one or more one loss candidate schools that are not their respective conference champions. compare with the committee shall select a one loss conference champion candidate school over a one loss non-conference champion candidate school. I can’t break it down any simpler.
  17. Exactly. It’s as easy as “We considered X, but ultimately though we determined that Y was the stronger factor in putting Z school in the playoffs. Reporter: But, why? Committee lead: Because fuck you. That’s why.
