  1. It’s great to win 13 games. It sucks in how the games are won. The two are not mutually exclusive.
  2. Well, if Jesus hugs his mom, his mom’s school would probably have the best shot at winning it all. Sorry Boise coach.
  3. Was just about to post! Jesus . . . What?
  4. Why do you throw for 38 yards. Because you can. Oof.
  5. Oh, well that’s different.
  6. If these two would happen, would it be a tie?
  7. Depending on how things work out, an idea for a lovely belated Christmas gift to each of your aggy in laws could be boxes containing peaches that are placed sitting on top of blankets of cotton.
  8. I haven’t been to a game in like seven years, but I would think a song from the Outfield would be great. It must be some other song. Rap, new catchy pop song?
  9. All of these girls: Ah crap. I didn’t get into Stanford or Berkeley or UCLA or USC. Their parents (hiding equal parts laughter and annoyance eyes rolling): You also didn’t get into UCSD, UCI, UCD, UCSB, UCSC, UC Riverside or Merced, San Diego State, Long Beach State, Cal State Fullerton, Northridge, Dominguez Hills, etc. either . . . and Arizona. girls: I guess it’s Arizona State!!! Parents: You did get into Texas A&M. Give it some thought. girls: eww
  10. There is no like, dislike or defending in what I posted. Is the stat misleading? Perhaps, but at least incomplete. I added what occurred in those games - winning all but one of those games - irrespective of the poor offensive production in the second halves of those games. That is what happened. If you disagree, then post the final game scores of those games and let me know if we actually ended up losing them. Maybe I got that wrong.
  11. Sorry. I didn’t know that I was responding to you. The other person I was responding to wants more than competency.
  12. Yes, that is what has happened in those games. Doesn’t contradict anything I said. We have won all the games but one when outscored in the third quarter. The narrative is accurate as a continuation of the tweet you posted. We all understand that you want Texas to win every game 50-0 and particularly wanting Quinn to go per game 35/35 with 450 yard of perfect passing, 5 TD passes, and run for another 2 with oh just a measles 85 yards rushing (no yards lost on sacks). That isn’t happening. We are where we are. I may not like it either, but that ain’t likely happening any time soon.
  13. Ok, let’s finish off this narrative - . . . and Texas lost only one of those games when being outscored in the third quarter (Georgia in the SEC CG). Of interesting note, Texas outscored Georgia 15-0 in the third quarter of their first meeting in Austin in October. What does all this mean? The trend is that Texas typically builds a lead in the first half against its opponents and then hangs on to win in the second half with a bounce back in the fourth quarter. There. Done.
  14. For those on the list . . . Too soon?
  15. Ok. Well if that’s the case, then instead of our typical tunnel entrance, I say put in a grass ramp from the second level balcony just above the “Campbell-Williams Field” sign and put the mounted horns at the top for all the players see and tap as they run down the ramp. I think that would be special, you know, if mandated to allow Clemson an entrance video.
  16. So, what’s your point?
  17. Yeah, I get that. That’s why I used the phrase “if we could have developed” what referencing a run game.
  18. I largely don’t disagree with you, but just maybe and this might sound crazy, but perhaps things turn out differently if we could have developed some sort of run game. Maybe we run for a TD in the red zone rather than having to rely on the pass. When you don’t have a run game then your opposition can pass interfere knowing that what follows will be more passes.
  19. I mean, right? Clemson ranks 75th in rushing defense, 60th in passing defense, and 65th in total defense. Anyone can take a blueprint, but not everyone can build (execute) on the design if you don’t have the same tools. That looks more like aggy than Georgia’s defense to me.
  20. Not to worry. Aggy will effectively respond with one or a combination of some boycott, a sternly worded letter to the powers behind setting the game time, an open records request (if applicable), skewing some online poll denouncing the start time, and the always popular - blaming Texas for the reason the game is starting so late.
