  1. Next year. When you're getting called out by the likes of Sam Harris ....

  3. It could be that too. I mean, as a Latino I see a lot of Hispanic groups. There are women's groups, LGBT groups, groups for minorities, etc. Hard to find young white male centric groups.
  4. @Brisketexan kind of hit the bullseye better than I was trying to do. I will note that as we get into a culture war that is being foisted on us by others we start to inadvertently pit sides against each other in ways that we really shouldn't. We start to push advancement of our groups and inadvertently isolate others. Is this every single person? No. But it is enough that it starts to become a problem and when you have an opposition side that is able to push their agenda simply by making the argument binaries of you or them any fracture is something they can exploit. And with social media it is people that are loud. You have the wrong person in power of a group they can make their group very exclusionary. And this is a bigger problem - vocal individuals can very much make this view (my group vs white males) and social media allows them to amplify it. And the sad thing is that we all should be on the same side. We are fighting for the same things - opportunities for those that lack them. But many people look at just their group and not as society as a large. I think this is a problem of our bubble/insular views - we think our groups should be open and accepting, but from the inside we might miss that they are not.
  5. I agree with JS1, just saying they are lazy is a little too easy. Listening to an interview recently, it was raised was that young men are starting to grow up without positive male role models in their lives - fathers, teachers, etc. These voids are being filled by so many negative role models (see this thread we are talking about). These voices are telling them they deserve things without working for them. They get angry and start to believe it. Clearly parents are failing here, but you have to admit we as a society play a touch of a role in thing. We have been told other groups deserve support but leave the young white male to flounder for themselves. This isn't a zero sum game, we can support all groups men, women, white, minorities, LGBTQ, etc and provide them the tools. With support any and all can make it.
  6. Purely a survey by The Athletic, but interesting results. LOL ManU.

  8. That would so be worth it for the LULZ. The pretzel twisting that the biggest Arsenal fans are doing in the EPL thread is so fucking funny. Oh it's a joke trophy, you still finished 17th, we had more injuries that anyone in the history of the world .... What a bunch of fucking aggys. We got a trophy, they haven't gotten shit in years and are getting slagged by their own (Henry) - L fucking O fucking L. You know what the last few years have taught me? I don't hate teams, i hate their fans. Every team here has pretty cordial fans, except Arsenal, they act like dicks, so they can suck dick. I know some cool Arsenal fans IRL, they are fun to talk to and make talking the sport fun. Liverpool, Chelsea for the most part pretty cool. So yeah, anything to get their panties in a bind (and clearly that's not hard with some of them).

  10. I mentioned the preseason schedule - we have: Newcastle during the Asian tour (S. Korea), Arsenal (July 31) and Bayern Munich (Aug 7) The Super Cup is going to be Aug 13 in Udinese.
  11. Who will coach Spurs next year? Likely Postecoglou, but we will see. But it looks like they won't have Mason on the bench anymore, it appears he is in advanced talks with West Brom. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2025/05/27/west-brom-manager-ryan-mason-talks-tottenham-hotspur/
  12. Hey - aggy still sell t-shirts too. In the end his followers still believe and trust in "NEXT YEAR!", despite the fact that it's been "next year" for well over a decade. This time it's different, so the stock price surges.
  13. I know, I know the title is from the 2nd Movie and the song is from the 3rd (though technically the 1st in the order they happen), but it works too well. Transfer news, summer tour and hey guess what? We're playing for another trophy August 13th!!! COYS!!!
  14. Didn’t Elon say he was going to be on this flight?
  15. We got cut to ribbons, we’re just not crying about it. We took our lumps and kept going. In the end… and I said it before Ange went all in on Europa, he sat a lot of starters in the EPL season to win the trophy. That’s not an excuse, that prioritizing.
  16. I'm not sure sticking with Ange is awful. It might be, but we'll see. I will say this - before Spurs had their rash of injuries - they were 4th in the table and had just smoked City at home 4-0. That was the first of many games without their starting central fullbacks and they lost their #1 keeper after that. Spurs were awful without Van de Ven and Romero on the backline, take away Vicario teams ... Get this team healthy and add some pieces, they are going to be tough again.
  17. Welcome to promotion and relegation. The league has a lot of EPL experience in it, I was noting from that chart that 7 teams have been in the EPL in the last 5 years. I just watched the first episode and a half - this team has got to slow down. I know they want to make the EPL, but they really need to build up their infrastructure. Like they note EPL teams have staffs of 1000's, Wrexham might hit 200 or so AT BEST.
  18. If that is the case, I'm calling BS on that number being the most. Spurs has 38 injuries counted that way and their list of missing players almost encompasses the starting 11. Some of the bigger players: Solanke Son Maddison Kulusevski Bergvall Bentancur (not to mention his suspension) Van de Ven Romero Vicario So like I said, Arsenal isn't special, they are like everyone else. Well I should say everyone else that didn't win a trophy.
  19. What I'm wanting to know is where the tweet that @Derka posted is coming up with his data. The chart I posted that compares each team gets their data from Transfermarket and you can easily figure out how to get to their number of 19 for Arsenal - Look at a team's injury page, each player with one or more red crosses is 1 injury. So I want to know how a guy that comes up with almost 2x that number gets to that number. I get no injuries are the same, but that's immaterial - much like bad calls it balances out. Hell, I would wonder if we could name the best starting 11 for Brentford?
