  1. Shit. I should clarify. I chose to bounce. It’s an upgrade. I’ll miss the animals but not the zoo.
  2. And just like that it's over. I might always be plant trash but I won't be in the plant or the industry no mo.
  3. Is this not a joke thread? I thought it was a joke thread.
  4. There is part of this that is just straight nostalgia for me. I learned to drive on paved roads on FM 485 from zabcikville to hearne. Most scenic? Nah, but plenty of old country history and the scenery used to not be too bad. I spent a lot of time burning up 281 from mineral wells to Hamilton. I’ve driven 36 end to end many times. Some highways just feel like Texas is supposed to.
  5. FM 170 from lajitas to presidio is probably the holy grail in my mind, but it's far from unknown at this point. Along the same vein, the entirety of 118 is pretty great.
  6. Tangentially related, I had a high school history teacher that liberated a singer sewing .45 from somewhere back in the day. I don’t think he knows he’s rich now, or cares.
  7. Are your hands that soft dainty boy?
  8. That would truly be the trip of a lifetime

  11. This movie is flawed, but I will always love it.
  12. In a past life, I spent a summer leading groups through this. https://www.longhorncouncil.org/camps-properties/texas-high-adventure-base/brazos-river-canoe-trip/ It was a great summer. I hadn't done the whole 47 mile stretch before, so I went out there with my helper and knocked out the whole river in 1 day prior to taking scouts down. We finished the last few miles well after dark and it was an interesting experience.
  13. good thing this isnt a wins league
  14. I really like watching Dunning pitch. I still don't know how he doesn't get knocked all over the yard, but I guess that's part of the fun.
  15. You have to be shitting me. Internet says you're not of course. Top 5 worst speed traps in the state plus LV. What world.
  16. Justin turner is a freak and gives me hope until he ends up on the DL sometime in the next day or so.

  20. It's only been a decade plus, but I worked that air show ever year for about 5 years. Big fan. It's too bad it fell off.
  21. If the timeline has any basis in reality, he's not a trade chip and the rangers will look brilliant. But...well, history

The only thing more suspect than that was the third out of that inning.
