  1. No one will ever confuse TCU with Big State U with their hundreds of thousands of tshirt fans. It’s a small private school with like 80,000 living alumni. It’ll never pull attendance, TV, or merchandise numbers like Big State U. But when the team wins, the community gets on board and people watch. As they have this year.
  2. I went to the games. Every game from OUsux on was full. Some very small patches of empty in the upper corners. B12 CCG was full too, both teams represented well.
  3. Kenny Hill is an “offensive quality coach” at Cal. During GP’s tenure he worked himself up to QB coach at TCU. Give him a call, aggy. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenny_Hill_(quarterback)#:~:text=Kenneth Wade Hill%2C Jr.,Aggies and TCU Horned Frogs.
  4. The bidet thread is that way —-> Seriously, it’s the only answer.
  5. Or dice up some japs, then go have some sexy time a couple hours later. You just thought you washed your hands really good. Nothing like blood curdling screaming when you go to tickle the man in the boat. “Tickle the man in the boat.” Hadn’t heard that one yet.
  6. Straight out cut and paste from super 70s sports.
  7. TCU’s rank in 247 B12 recruiting rankings for the last 10 years: 2022: 8, 4 4* 2021: 6, 2 4* 2020: 3, 9 4* 2019: 3, 4 4*, 1 5* (Evans) 2018: 3, 5 4* 2017: 3 4 4* 2016: 3, 9 4* 2015: 6, 1 4* 2014: 7, 2 4* 2013: 5, 3 4* My recollection was skewed, @quigley. You’re right, they haven’t been 3rd every year for the last decade, as I thought. They did hit that 5 out of the last 10 years, and especially in the last 6 years have added a fair amount of 4* talent to the roster. They’ll do well this year, and appear to be set up for a good run in the new B12. They haven’t, and won’t, approach blue blood recruiting standards. But they can do well in the new B12 with classes in the 20 range. For 2023, they’re currently sitting at 3rd, with 5 4*.
  8. Wednesday puzzles. Good Wordle, decent Worldle, horrific Quordle. Common letter patterns in both the NE/4 and NW/4 sunk me. The dreaded double strikeout. Wordle 536 3/6 #Worldle #320 3/6 (100%) https://worldle.teuteuf.fr Daily Quordle 317 quordle.com
  9. *My girl and I. Did you have trouble finding the entrance? Did those gosh darn friendly ags usher you right in, buy you a cup of coffee, shine your boots, and wash your car while you relaxed, convincing you to leave the niece with them because they can collectively parent so much better than the niece’s parents?
  10. Careful, they’re going to get their slidin’ boots on and attack evil ol’ tu with swords and howitzers! Their attack will be astounding, full of precision marching. They have a military background after all.
  11. TCU has been 3rd in B12 recruiting for a decade. They don’t have UT or OUsux level of blue chips, but there are plenty of 4* guys across their depth chart. This isn’t the 1980s TCU anymore. They won’t ever have the big bucks of UT, tOSU, etc. for NIL so won’t ever get top 10 classes, but it appears they’ll be just fine with top 20 or so classes.
  12. Looks like a gamer. Coach on the field. Heady. High motor. Sneaky athletic. Gets the most out of his abilities. Guy Bilbo would be proud for lil’ Bilbo to date.

  15. Aggy could care less about that. Its a mute point because it’s point is not relevant.

  17. So what non-shit teams are there that you would put in? USCal? Bama? Tenn? Pedo St? Wash? Clemson? LSU? Are they more or less crappy than the teams you don’t like?
