I wiped out on the NE/4, on a completely solveable word. 2. Might wanna ask your wife about that.
  3. But then you didn’t participate in the moment. You watched it through a screen, the same as if you were on your couch at home. We completely miss the experience of the moment by trying to document it, when the real value is living in it, experiencing it, as it happens.
  4. If it’s white, say good night.
  5. Juggernaught. Just wait, sips. You can’t handle the week-in, week-out grind of an SECX3 schedule. Especially in football and baseball.

  9. I know you’re not disagreeing with me, but what’s the point of taking your own picture of a historic moment which has blanket media coverage? It’ll be a crappy photo and you won’t see the moment with your own eyes. You’ll see it through a screen, the same as if you were sitting at home. And there will be thousands of professional photos of the moment that will be infinitely better than your phone shot.
  10. Look at the differences in these crowd shots. Put the phone away. Enjoy the moment.
  11. #1Ag777, who has an AgTag, is about to get the banhammer.

  13. The Kap comparison is very apt. Decent, but not great, QB. Signing him would’ve been a massive risk, because if he didn’t start (he’d already been benched before the circus), the race-baiting would be devastating. Same thing here. Sure, most teams could use a developmental QB. But no one wants the crap show that will come which him being a developmental QB, or, worse, a firestorm if they cut him for attitude.

  15. IMHO, the risk only grows the more he slides. People keep making the point that teams can now take a flyer on him with no risk because he can now be cut with no exposure. I think it’s precisely the opposite. If someone takes a flyer now, they get all the circus, and if they cut him they’re immediately trumpeted as racists. I now think it’s entirely conceivable he goes undrafted. This is amazing, and I’m here for it.
  16. Is this you?
  17. That caught my attention. I recently drove through Tennessee and was shocked to find out they only have 7 million people in the whole long skinny state. We have more than that in at just two metro areas in Texas (Houston and DFW). For talking so much smack, they're a pretty pissant state. But you are absolutely correct that Tennessee is one of the most populous states in the SEC. According to ChatGPT: State Population Estimate (2024) Source Texas 31,290,831 U.S. Census Bureau QuickFacts Florida 23,839,600 World Population Review Georgia 11,180,878 U.S. Census Bureau QuickFacts Tennessee 7,227,750 U.S. Census Bureau QuickFacts Missouri 6,245,466 U.S. Census Bureau QuickFacts South Carolina 5,478,831 U.S. Census Bureau QuickFacts Alabama 5,157,699 U.S. Census Bureau QuickFacts Kentucky 4,588,372 U.S. Census Bureau QuickFacts Louisiana 4,597,740 U.S. Census Bureau QuickFacts Arkansas 3,088,354 U.S. Census Bureau QuickFacts Mississippi 2,943,045 U.S. Census Bureau QuickFacts
  18. I agree this is old school, and I'm the same way. But I also think that this is one of the problems that we have. We're taught not to talk politics or religion in polite company. Instead, families, churches, and schools should be teaching children and other people how to have a civil conversation about these topics with someone that disagrees with you. That's the skill that's lost--many people on every point of the political and religious spectrum lose their minds when someone disagrees with them (which is why I avoid the CR like the plague). Just have a civil conversation with me, that's all I ask.
