  1. Honestly it's their best position. Allow the Democrats to do the hard work of running the country and they can just sit back and bitch publicly about things that trigger the religious right idiots while holding their palms out to them.
  2. So this is how America dies. Not with bombs and boots on American soil but with poorly trained chimps thumbing each other's asses in Congress after a completely brain dead and delusional American population elects them.
  3. That's precisely why they won't officially split. They'll keep doing this shit and shut down the country
  4. If the US is going to do anything to stem the rapid decline it's going to require some pretty major changes at the constitutional level. The two party system just can't work anymore in this environment so there would have to be a shift to a hybrid system that marginalizes the extremes in society.
  5. How many mid 40s women with big tits aren't crazy? She's just "burn our country to the ground to have the dumbest person alive our dictator" level of crazy.
  6. I think like Zeke Gallup is physically ruined. He just doesn't have any of the burst and ability to physically go up and fight for the ball that he had before the knee injury. He's no longer NFL caliber at all. Just a complete waste of a contract.
  7. No kidding. I've avoided EVERYTHING college football this week. It helps we have a bye this Saturday so I can just pick back up next week after another round of games have happened and the debacle is behind us.
  8. The 113 or so republicans would have a much easier time negotiating with the Democrats than with their own conspiracy crazies who just want to shut down the government. At least the Democrats want to get some shit passed. The path to marginalizing the nuts is right there. Might as well take it and try to get something positive done to sell to the voters. Otherwise voters are just going to get affected by government shut down and, because Americans are stupid, start voting for even more loud and crazy conspiracy idiots.
  9. Jerry isn't moving on from Dak. Won't happen. He'll fire McCarthy and hire whatever retread or 28 yr old whiz kid is out there and that guy will be stuck with a restructured contract on a below average QB taking up a high cap hit for years to come. My give a shit is at an all time low. Even lower than the Campo 5-11s. I wasn't excited at all for the game Sunday and even forgot about it until almost right before kick. I was pissed about the Cotton Bowl not this group of jagoffs
  10. That's 7 seasons in the last 20 over 71 percent as a team. That's far from bad. There's been times they've had seasons that were below average but they haven't been anywhere near bad for so long. It's ok to just say "I remembered wrong" when hit with cold hard data that shows you're wrong.
  11. Running it back with the same D lines that were Jeckyl/Hyde in the playoffs is going to make it interesting. That and backup goalie appear to be the weak spots in the team again, and let's hope Wedge stays healthy and plays well enough so Otter isn't a shell of himself if we get to the 2nd/3rd rounds again.
  12. Is that ugly, pretentious cokehead changing his name again?
  13. And this, ladies and gentlemen, is the process by which every prominent modern religion came into being. With the trump republicans and the propaganda machine that created them we get first hand view to how religion begins, how it spreads, and how it morphs over time to accommodate whatever it needs to accommodate to stay relevant.
  14. Since our 2006 NC win I think only 6 or so national champions have been undefeated. I didn't expect the playoff before the season. I expected to win the big 12 with a chance at the playoff. They may not be in the big 12 title game but it would take a collapse greater than on Saturday to happen to lose to the garbage remaining on the schedule. Will be interesting to see and nothing has been lost except the margin for error. Teams across the country will falter enough that it's very likely a 1 loss big 12 champion will get a playoff spot. It's up to them if they want to have the required focus and effort to make it happen. They can only lose to one of these remaining teams if they get outworked and make many critical errors. Both of those happened Saturday and they still had the lead with under a minute left.
  15. Nah, they could lose another game because they have zero margin for error now to win the conference, but I doubt they lose two. Their talent level is 4 to 5 levels above any team remaining on the schedule. They can always get a one a season inspired effort from their opponent and make critical errors in the double digits like what happened on Saturday but I don't like the odds of that happening again. The difference this year is they are so far above the other big 12 teams in talent. That hasn't been the case since before Mack started mailing it in. I see them going back to playing ok in spurts and great in spurts and blowing away overmatched teams like the first 5 games.
  16. When he was effective his rookie year and well at any time he's been really effective it was because of his legs. When the defense had to account for him running it simplified the coverages and fronts he saw in the passing game. Now that the injuries have slowed him to the point he doesn't have to be accounted for they can run whatever coverage and rush schemes they want at any time and he isn't good enough to beat it. Honestly, they'll never do this, but the best thing I think would be to just go with Lance and get in the best possible draft position to grab one of these 1st round 2024 QBs and start over. They'll never be able to win with Dak taking up as much cap as he does and being as limited as he is now so go ahead and do a soft rebuild to get another rookie contract QB in here and go from there. This window is shut closed and boarded up.
  17. Pollard doesn't have the burst he had before the injury. Maybe it comes back with time or maybe he's done
