  1. Sounds like a pass...at least for this trip.
  2. Yeah, I know BYU is a huge stretch, just going for kind of a really poor man's version of ND to the Catholics. But name a team in the new Big 12 anyone gives a shit about? And that'll be their obstacle when there are on the fence, tie breaker type situations. I tried arguing with some OSU fan a few days back, mostly just busting balls, that the new Big 12 will be borderline G5.
  3. I think you're all underestimating the power of ND. I guess we'll see...or we may see.
  4. Bingo. Sorry, new Big 12, but you'll be sorely missing this all-important factor. Hell, I'd almost argue BYU will be the closest thing they'll have, just due to the large Mormon following factor. Puts things in perspective.
  5. No way if it's OSU...maaaaaaaaybe (but doubtful) if it's OU.
  6. Exactly right. And I'll throw Miami plus ND (sort of) on that pile. Along with probably UCLA to some extent just for the LA market and national brand value for the PAC. The new Big 12 has none of those things. And as we see damn near every year, that all matters when picking teams for the CFP. Honestly, the new Big 12 just doesn't have any teams that people outside their little individual fan bases give a fuck about.
  7. Highly likely to be 6/8 after this year too. Only thing I can see changing that is if Alabama beats Georgia in the SECCG, and they both get into the CFP, which will throw a huge wrench in the works.
  8. This is correct. In this scenario, Okie Lite has no shot. OU is a better conversation, but it would come down to 3 things... ND already quite a ways ahead of OU, so too far for OU to climb to jump them Each with 1 loss, ND's will be to undefeated #3 Cinci and OU's will be to #meh Baylor (by that time) ND trumps OU for national brand following every single time Right or wrong, all those things matter. See above.
  9. Mods - The following posters need to lose posting privileges. And their fan cards. And man cards too while we're at it...
  10. ND gets in if Georgia beats Alabama in this scenario, which I think happens. Don't think Okie Lite or OU jump ND if all win out.
  11. You're overrating the new Big 12 and underrating the PAC and ACC. It may be bullshit, but these things come down to 'perception is reality' and the lack of blue bloods, or anything close, really hurts the new Big 12 in these hypothetical scenarios you're describing. No big brands, no recent dynasties, no blue bloods, no national following, no real TV viewership...that'll put the new Big 12 squarely in 5th place from a perception standpoint, which is really all that matters. Sorry, bub.
  12. Le Ti worth it? Saying 1,000 Euro minimum for 2 of us. @Johnny Sack, @ChiTownDoc, @Reynolds Woodcock or anyone else ever been? Kind of feels like one of the only big party night places on the island.
  13. Funny how most of the stories in this thread take me back to the brokest, simplest, and often best times of my life. More money…more problems.
  14. Negged for posting screenshot without pegging tab open in browser
  15. Yep, poll needs option C... C) Who gives a fuck?
  16. Alabama people shit-talking other Alabama towns makes me giggle.
  17. Apparently you're not familiar with whatthebuck's work. Most of what he posts is tOSU self-gratification.
  18. Why would USC still want him? After all that, with USC pulling the trigger firing their coach and starting their search back in what, like week 2, they'll end up with Matt fucking Campbell? They settle for a barely 500 coach with what was supposed to be his best team ever who's a lifer in the rust belt/midwest. The guy who supposedly coaches up 2-3 star talent to play 4-5 star football (or whatever). That'll somehow translate to Los Angeles and USC? Talk about a horrible fit.
  19. Assuming Georgia and tOSU win out and everything else goes as it should, the only other possible teams left are OU or Okie Light. And neither one of them is jumping Cinci or ND if they all win out. So, kind of a no-brainer solid prediction here for your final 4. I also don't think it'll matter who's in the 3 and 4 spot...they'll be obliterated.
  20. SMU needs to replace him with Deion, just to shove it up TCU's ass.
  21. For bringing up racism/EOT outside the CR I guess?
