  1. I've never grown lettuce but might give it a shot this fall. When's an ideal time to plant?
  2. Red loonies moved to Texas en masse because of covid? Did I miss that?

  8. looks like it's down 3% today
  9. I would probably have a better record if I benched my entire team every Sunday
  10. It's funny. I grew up in the woods of NE Texas where we had lots of copperheads and cottonmouths - but also a lot of king snakes. I got real good at discerning a cottonmouth from a king, but whenever I'd go to our ranch in Jack County, I just blindly assumed every watersnek that looked remotely like a cottonmouth was food for my shotgun. It took this thread over the years as an adult to teach me otherwise. That being said I've never been afraid of snakes even as a kid. If I saw a venomous one I would just take a breath and back away. If it wasn't venomous I might pick it up and go scare my sisters with it. Now spiders.... fuck spiders. I will blowtorch the building.
  11. I can taste the aspirin in the back of my throat every time I see a pic of that guy.
  12. Be careful. Soon this thread will turn into 4 Russian posters bitching about Gazprom for 18 pages until imma forces them to take their conversation to the thread he just started about Wendy's new frosty flavor.
  13. For you fellow Seinfeld fans
  14. I should add that my dad has been a yellow dog Texas democrat his whole adult life. He owns more guns than 99% of these losers and grew up running cattle in Jack County. When the AR shit got popular and the gun nuts tried to argue that they were great for hog killing, my dad told me "if you can't kill a hog with a deer rifle, then you have no business owning land in Texas."
  15. I'll add to this conversation about war combat. My dad was drafted out of UT law school in '70 to go to Vietnam. Since he had a degree, he was given a desk job in Saigon. Didn't see action on the front lines, but his entire hotel was blown to bits by a VC kid on a bicycle. My dad was down the street when it happened but lost a handful of friends. Later he would get a nasty intestinal bug and had to be med flighted back to the states. He always said he would never complain about that being that the guys on that plane with him were in way worse shape than him. He was always shy about talking about his tour and never wanted people to think of him as a vet since he wasn't in the jungle getting shot at, but he still fucking served and did his duty, and almost died for it. JV Vance can lick my dad's taint.
  16. JD Vance knows what a biscuit glove is.
  17. Oh she's a fucking black belt in trying to make me feel like an asshole.
  18. DR often avoids direct hits from hurricanes.
  19. But was it above the garbage line? Hovering like an angel?
  20. Something fishy here. She handed it to you? My wife waits for me to ask to see the remote so she can get mad at me for calling her a stupid liar.
  21. Also what's up with JV's longcat releases? In the 30 min it takes your average maga to read the first half, they probably just give up on the second half.

  23. Derka knows a place you can go for help.
  24. Let's maybe practice some 1 on 1 drills against the GK. There's usually like 5 ways to score there and we seem to know none of them.
