  1. Best AB Winfield has had for us
  2. Another remedial reader. F on the book report. The very first post I made yesterday Here is where I refer to the heat I deservedly took a few weeks back when I initially made the suggestion. You can note that was before his extension/buyout. He left anyway and I pointed out what he said when asked about the 2025 Longhorn running back depth chart. The very next sentence in my controversial, overly critical assessment of Choice
  3. I said multiple times what a good and important coach Choice is. Sorry the idea of suggesting the team may have just wanted to go in a different direction, ie a coach more aggressive with RB transfers (which arguably Bobby even hinted at) was akin to suggesting Choice made Blake Lively uncomfortable on the set of some mediocre rom com that it induced a lead paint boomer rage in you that caused you to be too busy angrily mashing the keyboard for the reading comprehension parts of your brain to function. He's a good fucking coach. I bet Sark hires another good RB coach
  4. Orphey is what you would get if you went in a lab and designed a prototype young, up and comer DB coach in a lab. >spent last 4 years learning to coach DBs from Saban and Schiano, two of the best technical teachers and guys who are hands on with the secondary >good enough interview to sell Sark, Saban, and Schiano on hiring him. Should translate to recruiting >went to North Shore
  5. Aren't you the guy who told me there was no way Jonathon Brooks would get drafted after he hurt his knee?
  6. I've followed Choice's career since his playing days when he gave that badass speech in the GT locker room and have always considered him to be a man of high character. For him to want to give carries and opportunities to the guys who he sat in their living room and promised them opportunities is consistent with that perception. He also doesnt seem like the tampering type. He's a look you in the eye mean what he says type. He was a definite asset to the Longhorn football program, and any inferred disrespect on Tashard Choice's character or value as a coach has been wildly misconstrued here.
  7. Who the fuck said he was lazy? Being loyal to his guys and not wanting to recruit the portal=/=lazy. Different coaches have different viewpoints
  8. CTJ, I know you're involved in the money side of things. I theorize that Choice had great unseen value on the retention side of NIL, getting his guys to buy in and reup cheap. That will be difficult and potentially costly to replace.
  9. Hey, the fun thing is, we'll get to see if we start pursuing transfer rbs in the future and if that's just a lucky coincidence
  10. That's a prestigious award
  11. Its no disrespect to Choice to suggest that good coaches sometimes have differences in philosophy and move around. Choice didnt want to recruit college running backs. Maybe he didn't want to fuck over his fellow rb coaches who knows. Its not a knock on his character. Maybe we get a rb coach who's more aggressive with the transfer portal. Maybe Choice is more suited to coaching grown men under contract in the NFL and positioning himself for a bigger role. Both can be true. Maybe I'm completely wrong. Either way Im just some dumbass who watches too much Texas football
  12. Remember when he was asked about the Horns potentially targeting rbs in the transfer portal and he said "Nah, Choice good"? That got under my skin a little and I took some heat a couple weeks back when I suggested he may have been nudged to the door. Understandably, since hes a respected assistant who was a key factor in several recruitments at different positions. He will be a loss. But I'm excited to see some new blood in the offensive coaching room
  13. Adrian Peterson Jr (the belt one I think) is a 2030 RB that hilariously destroyed his 7th grade competition this year
  14. https://www.nj.com/rutgersfootball/2024/10/rutgers-plans-to-up-playing-time-for-deeper-group-of-defensive-backs.html
  15. If this is true then Jack Dorsey had it all too and did absolutely nothing with it
  16. Schiano is a good defensive coach to learn from. It should also be pointed out that Schiano is pretty hands on with coaching his DBs and came up as a DB coach, so our new guy may not deserve ALL the credit for developing those pros
  17. I really dont think they wanna move the team to Vegas. It's gotta be some back table deal to legalize it here in Texas. Vegas is hurting right now. The younger generations like phones more than slots and its too expensive. https://www.reviewjournal.com/sports/football/super-bowl/lvcva-projects-4-decline-in-number-of-super-bowl-weekend-visitors-3278196/
  18. Holy shit this site has become facebook
  19. Wallen was my initial prediction, but he may be too much of a drunken liability. After serious consultation I now put Post Malone as the favorite on the board followed by Luke Combs
  20. I love the OG sponsored bits he throws into every Landman episode. Obviously designed to go viral amongst the chuds who love tough talk and owning dumb libs
  21. Rock isn't coming back until they figure out how to make chicks like rock music again Rock bands make music for dudes and dudes don't go out unless dragged by their gf
  22. Hot sluts are the engine of the music industry. Before cell phones and tinder we had to go out to bars and watch local rock bands to see and possibly engage with hot sluts. It drove the scene and those bars full of hot sluts and horny bros gave bands something to work for. In the late 90s/2000s all the sluts shifted towards wanting to fuck rappers. So everyone became soundcloud wanna be rappers. Rap almost always sucks live too so the live music scene crumbled. Country has been the only music with a thriving live scene, and the sluts and bros are starting to discover it. Now all the sluts are out looking for a Morgan Wallen and the bros are dressing like him
  23. Next year they'll get Morgan Wallen As much as I hate the stupid asshole comments about rap and never want to be on those people's side ever, I think hip hop's era as the dominant form of pop music is starting to wane. Country is the new NPC music
