  2. ugh Miah Cerrillo spoke exclusively to CNN about her horrific experience that day inside the classroom where the mass shooting took place.  Miah said she and her classmates were watching the movie "Lilo and Stitch" in Eva Mireles and Irma Garcia's classroom when the teachers got word there was a shooter in the building, she told CNN's "New Day." there goes the insane super cop proof prison door theory. fucker only has to reach his has through a the window to unlock the classroom door. yet the cops needed a key?? yeah cops. why did you waste time tazing frantic parents instead of rescuing kids?
  3. starting to look like bernard was right. if all this is true there is blood on these cops hands. cowards.
  4. bro. this was like 5 weeks ago. check the ongoing offseason thread. we don’t do individual threads here. no idea why. science or pissed off olds. not sure
  5. this china shutdown is bad. i can’t get half the shit i need to keep petrochem facilities operating. we can’t even air freight stuff in. inflation is about to skyrocket even more so than it has been.
  6. fyi - just posted on the austin subreddit
  7. it’s funny this is a big deal. what few seniors we had sucked. we knew this
  8. my brother is an archeologist based out of central america and the yucatán. he has found some cool fucking shit. including the “maize” god. Locals would take newborns and bound their heads in a way that would make it resemble an ear of corn when older. they would then use these “gods” to reenact their “creation of the world” event in religious ceremonies.
  9. this disinformation board might be the dumbest, most tone deaf thing i have ever seen. i mean wtf are they thinking.
  10. woah. he must have some sort super power that tells him exactly where the ball will go.
  11. An investigation continues into cases of acute hepatitis with unknown causes among children who had adenovirus infections.  In a health advisory Thursday, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention alerted health care providers and public health authorities to the investigation and recommended that providers consider adenovirus testing in children with hepatitis when the cause is unknown, adding that testing the blood in whole -- not just blood plasma -- may be more sensitive.
  12. yeah. it’s always been known as a dirty/ poorly ran place. from my understanding they plan to keep the land. maybe build a chemical plant there eventually? not sure.
  13. lyondell closing houston refinery and exiting industry. interesting times. guessing pressure from home country (similar to shell)
  14. sounds like this all a big mouse plot to kill two billion in debt from the books.
  15. thanks. i’ll bring it up, would you want it there even if it’s a covered porch? it should not be seeing any direct rainfall (other than wind driven). the roof above will have a foot or so overhang plus 6” gutter.
  16. when i was a kid growing up in germany the teachers would threaten us that if we were bad the gypsy’s would “take us away”. one time my friend ran away and the local gypsy family actually found him wandering the streets and returned him to his parents. from then on all the other german kids would make fun of him for being so bad that even the gypsy’s didn’t want him interesting people.
  17. i refuse to believe this is real. are we sure it wasn’t a bunch of drunks trying their best to move it to deeper water?
