ChickenSandwich

Certifiably Surly
  1. He is our best on ball/point of attack defender this season. Our biggest hole on defense right now.
  2. I seriously doubt there is a significant percentage of units with families, but sugar babies get pregnant too I suppose. I assume these high school kids go to private school as well? I don’t believe downtown Austin is on the radar for many young/new middle class families. Affordable downtown is a fairy tale. Austin has built over 100,000 new apartments since covid, the majority of which are not downtown. It is a better use of resources to support these areas with much higher working and middle class density. Roads, parks, schools and infrastructure would benefit those who need it the most. The truth is the nicer you make downtown the more expensive the real estate will become and more incentivized the developers will be to build them that way. No one is suggesting building section 8 high rises on Rainy St or downtown. These limited resources spent downtown will be disproportionately beneficial to the Austin upper class who can afford to live there.
  3. Who are these condos for? Families with small children? Retirees? Young tech bros? Where will the growth come from? It will be a long time, if ever, where Texas families would rather raise their kids in a high rise vs a home with a yard.
  4. I woke up feeling the Cheesiest. LFG
  5. We have turned two 20 point second half leads into 2 OT losses (difference in standings). Nothing is easy
  6. Finally got the old man his own slip. Trailers are for the young bucks. this Viking was the hotness
  7. it’s his second game back from injury.
  8. Any way to make the “new post” dot next to the Thread title bigger? My most used feature got microscopic on a mobile
  9. We will be fighting Denver for the two seed.
  10. Love the characters and concept but was extremely weak overall for a season 1. Feels like 2-3 episodes worth of plot/story and the rest was filler/indulgence. Like he got the green light but only had a short story to draw from. Can’t even use the character development excuse. There was none. Closest thing to 25 episode LOST season one that I can remember. Great story and characters etc but a struggle to fill the required episodes. Now we wait two years for season 2 lmao.
  11. Then why not play week 1?
