  1. Heard an interview with this national treasure on sports radio here in Indy. Going to see if I can find it because it was magical.
  2. The BBT was developed by a Catholic priest, fwiw. https://www.thevintagenews.com/2017/12/05/big-bang-theory-catholic-priest/
  3. I learned years ago to just stop listening in instances like this and continue whatever I am doing as normal.
  4. Hahaha - you're right. the boot we see in the foreground is a right foot, but it's attached to his left leg - clearly his legs aren't crossed.
  5. That was the joke around sports radio today here in Indy. And really, I wouldn't be surprised if Andrew never plays another down again.
  6. this dude lost his job? cops murder people and get less punishment than that. smh.
  7. Jesus. TennTech doing everything they can to make this interesting.
  8. Jesus Christ.
  9. Helluva catch. Wow.
  10. Dammit Indiana, put these goobers away. Edit - delay for me. Game ovah!
  11. Which one of you assholes is at the CDG airport right now with a longhorn polo on? A few other select shots. Oh... Indiana? Pretty sure they meant Indian as in Indian motorcycles. There were a dozen motorcycles parked out front including an Indian. Bernini altar at Chartres cathedral Riding the bicycle merry-go-round at the Musee des arts forains. Powered by 20 people pedaling. We got it going over 30mph approximately. Sainte Chapelle. Worth the price of admission. Showed up and the line was 2 hours long. Skipped that simply by purchasing my ticket on my phone right there. Went to head of the security line then once inside the complex bypassed the ticket line and went straight to get my ticket scanned. Climbed to the top of Sacred Heart. Exhausting 300 stair climb in a narrow spiral staircase. Did plenty of other things. Most of them pretty standard.
  12. the last row climbed an astounding number of places each.... something like 28, 15, 12 each (no stats in front of me now). listened to the race on radio in le mans, france. there are many employees working the 24 hour race staying here in my hotel, yet i'll miss that race being back in indy. lol. will is definitely more chill now after the recent indycar deaths and also the birth of his child last year. never liked him much but his radio interviews today along with the absolute joy and passion in his voice about winning made me happy for him. rossi is a beast. long career ahead of him. fernando alsonso tweeted today just before the green flag "now the race of the day begins" ... ouch considering he was going to later race at monaco f1. he will be back at indy - no doubt. can't wait. really had hoped that stefan wilson had some rossi fuel strategy in his back pocket in those final 5 laps, but alas he had to pit. how amazing would that win have been for the memory of his brother, his life, and the never-say-die attitude of indy. second hottest indy 500 ever. 91f. could have contributed to the amount of wrecks as the rubber on the track, at certain temps, would begin to leak some of the oil in the tires making it slick even in the good grooves. will power now in first place in points champ. may have series considering cutting the double-points offered by the 500. here comes the two races in detroit and the texas ms. hope its continues to be an exciting season.
  13. godspeed. hope if he's suffering, it doesn't last long.
  14. A teacher ran headlong into the oncoming bullets to stop the student/shooter. Hero. https://www.ajc.com/news/national/teacher-credited-with-stopping-shooter-noblesville-west-middle-school-indiana/kM0jwQ0lUcHjdcl6EkBeML/
  15. ok. my hotel is hot. we have "a/c" but even with it in the low 80s the room is stuffy and i was sweating very much today.
  16. Made it. Have a couple days for myself before the larger group arrives. Just toured St Eustache, which is as impressive as Notre Dame without the lines. Time for some lunch.
  17. Literally hits close to home, as a suburb of Indy. Fuck this. Ugh. Glad little BGS has his last day of school today.
  18. Yeah, have a call with them tomorrow morning.
  19. Thanks, GoLL. You think that lobby is big enough for 30 people or there's a place our bus could park and then people could wait on the bus?
  20. A little airport help for those of you very familiar with CDG airport. I am heading up a rather large group of people meeting from all over on Sunday. Different arrivals and times, but we plan to leave the airport together around noon. What/where would a good meeting place be after baggage claim but still at the airport. We have a charter bus picking the group up as well. Is there somewhere in terminal 2 that is outside of security like a cluster of restaurants and shops where the group could easily find me and gather their bearings? Blind leading the blind, lol.
  21. The bacon pan is the best one of late. Brilliant!
  22. The needle would be way too good for him. Put him in gen-pop. I bet they're really sympathetic to child-molesting cops.
  23. From another site and discussion about today's events...
