  1. I have a recteq 700 and added a bullseye this past year for similar reasons (burgers, fajitas, steak searing). The addition of the bullseye allowed me to finally let go of the gas grill. - it will get *damn* hot - it is not as 'hands off' as the 700. I'm finding I have to clean out the firepot more frequently to ensure a quick startup/heatup. - i have a small cast iron sear plate that I use on it for steaks, but I'm strongly considering this replacement: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XSB48CH/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_6?smid=A31XRSPLDNVTCO&th=1 Overall, I do love the Bullseye...just have to accept that the higher temp means a little more maintenance (keeping the firepot clean).
  2. Well the weirdness is all true. But the "7 out of 8 medal of honor recipients" part is bullshit...
  3. All Male Cheerleaders?
  4. Ended up at the south end of bevo blvd at a friend’s tailgate. Hope to catch you guys for celebration post-game! Hook ‘em!!!!
  5. Hoping to swing by...probably before...maybe after...
  6. Holy crap...I certainly had high hopes for Tuchel...but it looks like the Chelsea tradition (of moving on quickly from underperforming coaches) continues...
  7. Some days I love Surly...some days, i get exactly what I should expect...
  8. Starting research for our retirement property (a few acres in the hill country), and recently took a tour of a nearby barndominium that was pretty impressive inside. We had not previously really considered them. Any surly-ites living in a barndo or have any thoughts?
  9. Fofana in. ~$75M fee, 7 yr contract. https://www.espn.com/soccer/soccer-transfers/story/4716428/chelsea-sign-wesley-fofana-on-seven-year-contract-from-leicester-city
  10. Triggered. Also: let's "do a quick sync" and "double-click on that" to make sure our "resources are aligned" and working towards our "organizational objectives". [edit]: just grow a pair and say you don't agree or understand and you want to discuss it.
  11. Don't "reply all", unless the whole group really needs to see your damn reply.
  12. +1 for Goodnotes. Also, get a paperlike screen protector.
  13. The only thing this guy says that is based in fact, is that there is a lot of pressure on the shoulders of the starting QB for Texas. Oh, and also, Quinn is not Patrick Mahomes. The rest is a lot of assumption and misinterpreting statements. And fuck off with that USC shit on the wall. To semi-quote Will Smith..."keep my team's name out yo mouth".
  14. If ESPN's play-by-play is right, looks like he started off with 2 incompletions, then reeled off 9 straight (including those 2 TDs) before sitting down... Hook 'em Sam!
  15. VAR admits error in hair-pulling. Gee, I feel better... https://www.espn.com/soccer/chelsea-engchelsea/story/4724805/video-assistant-referee-mike-dean-admits-error-in-missed-marc-cucurella-hair-pull
  16. He did get the ball, but I thought he went through Havertz's foot to get it. From that stream (thanks for sharing) it's hard to tell I suppose...
  17. 2 bullshit no-calls, leading directly to 2 goals. I'll admit there's a blue tint to my view, but I'd love to hear how someone would defend those missed calls...
  18. Shit, we have a 20yr old and a 17yr old...with a soon-to-be-16yr old about to be added. We've been on USAA forever, but now I'm wondering if we should be shopping around...
  19. Yeah, sorry my sarcasm overloaded my ability to express myself clearly. I think their overall winning PCT is better, but I think we actually have the same # of wins over P5 opponents. During (arguably) our worst decade, like, ever.
  20. You (Russia) wouldn't know how to execute a "precision" strike even if it was a legitimate target. Also, stay the fuck out of your neighbors house, and you won't have to worry about shooting into his kid's bedroom.
  21. Must be wins vs non-P5, right? What else could it be?
  22. taco cabana bean and cheese breakfast tacos after a night of...well, anything...
  23. Koulibaly and Sterling both looked good. Thiago is immortal. Looked a little vulnerable against the fast break. Felt very familiar to pass the ball all over the final third and not see goals as a result. [edit] Oh, and for God's sake, please spend some time on set pieces (corner kicks) this week...
