  1. lol yup I’m an absolute nutter for British royal history and gossip. I woke up at 4:00 AM as a kid to watch Charles and Diana get married and when Andrew and Fergie got married with my mom, grandma, and sister. My grandma passed a week after Andrew and Fergie’s wedding. We were super close and it’s one of my favorite childhood memories. Did the same for William and Kate and Harry and Meghan as an adult. And not to get too TMI for this board but I had a miscarriage the day Diana died and her funeral was on my 25th birthday. So I have a lot of personal emotions tied up and associated with some big royal events. I’m obsessed with the Plantagenets and the Wars of the Roses. I could write a book on Eleanor of Aquitaine and Edward The Black Prince and The White Ship and Elizabeth Woodville and Anne Boleyn and Thomas Cromwell and Richard Neville and Victoria and Albert. So, yeah, big ole British royal history dork lol.
  2. lol What makes is even better? Cholmondeley is pronounced “chumley”.
  3. Just watched the first episode. Pretty good and I’m intrigued on where the story is headed. And, not for nothing, Jon Bernthal is sexxxxxxyyyyy AF.
  4. Congratulations to you and your boy! My boy got word last week he’ll be staying in San Diego at Camp Pendleton for his first fleet assignment. I was hoping he might get assigned closer to home……. But I guess I’ll be making my first trip to California sometime next year! He’s assigned to the Marine Light Attack Helicopter Training Squadron 303. They work on the Venom (Super Huey), Viper, and SuperCobra. He’s doing something with the weapons systems. He doesn’t say much about that stuff.
  5. Big face! Tiny features! He’s made of spite and nightmares and insecurity about his cock.
  6. I watch documentaries and learn things. Better than galumphing off into the woods to shoot innocent wildlife or schlepping around smacking a small white ball around.
  7. Nah - there’s a whole ceremony and William has to do a bunch of ceremonial brouhaha in Wales for a period of time before it’s official. Charles said the same thing about making Edward the Duke of Edinburgh - per his father’s wishes - but he’s not invested him with that title either. With the Royal Family, don’t go by their words. It’s the actions that matter. William won’t be made PoW until after Charles’s coronation. William was automatically made the Duke of Cornwall when the Queen passed because that’s an automatic title passed to the heir, just as Charles was made King on her death. The Prince of Wales title and a Duke of Edinburg are hereditary titles that pass to the eldest male and revert to the crown. The assignment of those titles are up to the monarch’s discretion and don’t automatically pass down the line. When Edward married Sophie, the Queen offered him a Duchy but he chose the Earl of Wessex title because he was supposed to be made the Duke of Edinburg after Prince Phillip passed. But the Queen never did it and now that’s up to Charles.
  8. Y’all can count on Bama fans to boo the shit out of him. Our traveling fans aren’t the typical tshirt gumps and they’re by and large republicans but they’re rowdy and will boo him on principle because he’ll be there as a representative of the enemy.
  9. I’m so confused. I thought The Founding Fathers were the root of all that was special and amazing about America and we’re required to adhere to their every word.
  10. No but Tucker has quite the take. Lots of fancy dog whistling to say “Black people can’t be trusted to rule themselves”.
  11. Dark Brandon subtly mocking republicans in a Mitch McConnell accent is A+ trolling.
  12. I mean, it’s no secret I’m a big Anglophile and Royal history is my jam. But even I think the monarchy is an anachronism and should be abolished. Not having a King and a bunch of grifting dim relations sucking up tax dollars will not erase the history nor reduce the tourism dollars. Tourists go to the UK to visit the Tower and Buckingham Palace not to meet the monarch. The UK would probably see more profits without having a Royal Family to support financially. In other news, Twitter is absolutely on fire [emoji91].
  13. Okay you impatient fucks lol William has always had a history of philandering. Kate was his side piece at Saint Andrews. His buddies called her “The Mattress”. Kate’s mom, Carol, raised her with the intention of bagging William. Kate was originally going to Cambridge - where it was assumed William would attend. But he took a gap year at the last minute and then it was announced he would be going to Saint Andrews. Kate declined her spot at Cambridge and took a gap year and applied to Saint Andrews to follow William. Her mother stalked the aristo set and discovered what house (dorm) William was going to live in and got Kate in the same dorm. She wormed her way into his set and became his fuck buddy. William continued to publicly date other gals and Kate would wait around for when he got bored and horny. They graduated and her first public appearance as his girlfriend was at their graduation. She waited around for ten years. William dated around but none of the aristocratic set wanted any part of being in the Royal Family. They finally got married and Kate did her duty and gave him the heir (George) and the spare (Charlotte). He continued to have affairs - a London attorney, a Swiss banker, a ballerina. She accepted it and wasn’t threatened because they weren’t any kind of social threat. After George was born, they lived in Norfolk at Amner Hall. It’s the country home of the aristocracy. Then he had an affair that was an actual threat because the other woman was real aristocracy. Her name is Rose Hanbury, Marchioness of Cholmondeley. Her husband, David, 7th Marquess of Cholmondeley. He is the Lord Great Chamberlain, which is a hereditary role and has been acting as the hereditary Lord Great Chamberlain to QEII since 1990 and carries the Imperial State Crown at the Opening of Parliament. The men in his family have held this role for ages and are therefore very close to the crown and Rose and David are the head bitches of the Norfolk set - known as the Turnip Toffs. When Kate found out she tried to pull rank and get the Hamburys frozen out but it backfired because even though Kate is a Duchess and future Queen Consort, she’s still a social climbing middle class striving commoner to true aristocrats. Louis, the third child, was Kate’s “reward” for turning a blind eye. A few weeks ago it was suddenly announced that Kate and William were pulling their kids from The Thomas Battersea School in London and moving to Adelaide Cottage on the grounds of Windsor Castle and sending the kids to Lambrook School. A very unexpected and unusual decision. But Windsor and the new school are much closer to her parents in Bucklebury, Berkshire. A 30 minute drive as opposed to the two hours from London. Adelaide Cottage is modest by royalty standards - four bedrooms and no servants quarters. It was also announced they were giving up their live in staff. Only Kate has been seen coming and going from Windsor and William seems to still be living in Apartment 1A in Kensington Palace. They have been arriving separately for their few joint appearances and both have been seen alone with the children with luggage and passing the kids back and forth. Articles have been referring to the kids in phrases like “Kate’s children, who she shares with William” - which is an unusual way to refer to children of an active marriage. The gossip is that Adelaide Cottage is Kate’s “separation home” and that they are living apart. And it was chosen so she could be close to her family - Pippa (Kate’s sister) and her husband and kids and James (Kate’s brother) and his wife also live in Bucklebery. The story is that William wants out but would not divorce while the Queen was alive. In the last month there have been a few stories touting William as a hands on dad and how he does much of the day to day parenting. Sooooooooo - Royal followers are reading the tea leaves and claiming that William and Kate are already separated and testing the waters on how the British public will react to another future king getting divorced. And now that the Queen has finally kicked off, expect to see more stories from the Royal Rota hinting at them having grown apart. They’ve been quiet on the topic out of respect for the Queen. Also, don’t expect King Charles to plan William’s investiture as Prince of Wales until a decision is made on whether they divorce. The Firm doesn’t want another Diana situation with a Princess of Wales and mother of the future king out of their control. TL;DR - William is a cheater and Kate is a doormat and word on the street is they’re already separated.
  14. And I’m at work trying to make a deadline so I don’t have time now but I’ll come back later and fill y’all in on the gossip about Kate and Will.
  15. The tourists don’t come for Charles and Camilla. They come for the castles and the Tower and the history shit. The tourist dollars will still flow with or without an actual monarch.
  16. I think it will happen. QEII was an institution. The British public don’t revere Charles. He’s still associated with wanting to be a tampon and ruining Diana. And they still HATE Camilla. And William and Kate are boring ass, tone deaf mayonnaise who are rumored to be separated. I think King Charles III will be the last British monarch.
  17. Dead ass serious lol I’m NYC poor though. I’ve already been looking at the job market and Zillow.
  18. It would take me 15 minutes and the help of a cane to get up from that kneeling position. Uncle Joe has those young people knees.
  19. Thanks! Mostly same set list each night but he’ll usually add a random old song of his or a cover during the encore (Wet Leg, Ultralight Beam, Sledgehammer). I’ve made friends at each show and met some of my Harry Twitter friends too. And I’ve definitely been munching on NYC pizza slices and street cart hot dogs! And if anyone finds themselves at MSG in the future - their popcorn is delicious! I don’t know what they do that’s different but it’s tasty AF.
  20. I don’t remember who suggested shipping all my purchases home but shout out to you!!! Much cheaper than the exorbitant baggage fees and now my load is much lighter!!!! Today is my last full day - going to see SIX this afternoon. Saw Hamilton yesterday and IT WAS AMAZING! Here’s a picture from last night at my third and final Harry show!
  21. I hope the “Knights Templar” send his ass on a crusade. Maybe he’ll get run through with a sword or something.
