  1. "No respect. No respect at all!" Lulz.
  2. Sasha Grey's stuff didn't make the list? Lulz.
  3. You're absurd. Go plug a hole.
  4. "sense of responsibility" -- BS! They irrationally instill fear in the populace, and were wrong for decades, just like the nutcases who predicted "the big one" earthquake in California.
  5. Paging "Stretch" Suba! Lulz.
  6. Unfortunately, I hear the same gloom and DOOM about Mount Baker near Seattle and Mount Shasta in NoCal..... both "angry/evil/Sith/etc./Lulz" quiet volcanoes that are still ready to pop, so the vulcanologists have warned for decades, so they can eventually be "proven correct". Lulz.
  7. I was last there in 1992, so none of those signs would be visible.
  8. What makes this worse, and has everyone in Japan, Hawaii, and the US west coast worried for more waves from even this point, is the 8.8 magnitude quake had two 8.0 aftershocks (at least), etc. I always remember that Crescent City, California, is famous for magnifying any tsunami waves that can reach it -- which wasn't lost on me last time I was there eating a nice steak at a local restaurant, at night.
  9. You're correct. I saw a movie once in Welch, Painter, ETC, and CPE, too. I heard about movies in Jester, since I lived in 3rd Floor Jester East, but never watched any.
  10. Hogg Memorial Auditorium and The Union Theater on campus, then right around the corner was The Varsity Theater at 24th & The Drag (that became a Tower Records before that closed, too, then a Wells Fargo Bank & CVS Pharmacy), etc.
  11. I thought the story was the hooker in his hotel room took Price's shiny-new BamaJelly-credit-card and ordered everything in the world.
  12. Holly Palance was on fire in the 80s when she did episodes of "Ripley's: Believe It Or Not" with her Dad, Jack Palance.
  13. Mos burger is one of the drown it with condiments places. Mountain, Ocean, Sun.... my ass! And they stole the old Warner Brothers "W" logo and turned it upside down. I can't unsee it. Lulz.
  14. I know that, but many people don't.
  15. Actually, I'm not a weeb. Weebs purport to know everything about Japan. I'll never know everything about Japan, not even close. It's just worth the adventure to explore the cities and the countryside.
  16. Not in Japan if you're hankerin' for a hamburger, you can't! Half of Japan's "hamburgers" are the Japanese hamburg-steak recipe (ugh!), and the other half are so drowned in condiments you can't even taste any beef! (double-ugh!) Shake Shack is a hamburger-oasis in Japan, and they keep opening locations. It's very popular with the locals, as there's barely a place to sit in Shake Shack even in the less touristy neighborhoods/(wards) in Tokyo, like Ebisu.
  17. Invasion Of The Body Snatchers, The Blob, and The Swarm would've given you really bad nightmares had you seen them as a child. OR, maybe just seeing Donald Sutherland with a perm would give you nightmares. Lulz.
  18. Especially when you hear "Reber" (the way they pronounce Reba McEntire's first name) sing it. Lulz.
  19. GATA ain't winning a MNC with QB Lagway on a pitch-count!
  20. "Taylor Butane" still exists, even though they sell propane now.
