  1. Season passes available for the champions club in Bass Concert Hall. $10 each. I'm in Austin, but we can figure it out if you're not. More detail at https://spark.adobe.com/page/5DXJ1tnfD95pQ/
  2. This. If HTown85's uncle donates less than $10K a year, his 8 ou tickets will most likely be split up into 2 priority seats and 6 endzone seats.

    Shit My Kid Says

Pogo Jr cracked me up this morning before school. He said something goofy; I looked at him and said, "What the hell is wrong with you?" He replied, "Dad, what the hell ISN'T wrong with me?"
  4. Based on previous responses, I guess Kirsten and I need to head over the the WTF celebrity crush thread.
  5. Chancellor said it best at the end - it is well hidden. I could probably wander around ETC or ENS and find a few labs like this.
  6. Then Knox should follow your directions. Although I still contend that any smart TV these days should/would have an optical audio out.
  7. There has to be some type of audio out on your TV, either optical or RCA. If it's a smart TV, I would think there's an optical audio out somewhere on it.
  8. That's exactly what we figured out as we have learned more about her apnea. It's proven to be more mechanical in nature, thus it makes sense now why CBD didn't help.
  9. My wife has sleep apnea. It didn't help her much, but I've taken it at night and don't wake up near as much as when I don't take it. I take 20-25mg in drops 30 min before bed. I bought a 1500mg bottle from CBDMD based on price and reviews.
  10. I remember seeing this on NatGeo or something. The narrator actually said, "While this arrangement clearly benefits the Pearlfish, it is not known what the Sea Cucumber gets out of it." Expert troll on the part of the writers.
  11. It's a Rice home game. dogshit conference = dogshit tv deal
  12. True, but some other stuff went dark nationwide, like Smithsonian and CBS Sports Network.
  13. That is the scheduled network for the UT at Rice game. Plan accordingly if you have one of those services and aren't going to the game. https://www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/business/story/2019-07-19/cbs-blackout-directv
  14. The opposite has happened to me so fucking many times at the Czech Stop. People get gas and leave their car blocking the pump for the next 20 minutes while they're inside. No more thinking I can kill 2 birds. I won't leave home without a full tank anymore.
  15. In my house, the standard response to this kind of self-deprecation is, "That's not why you're an asshole." I forget which one of us said it first, but it's become a running joke.
  16. This one is pretty crazy just because of the tight spaces. It almost looks like he's jumping into a blowhole. The slightest bit of current comes through there and he gets shredded or shot 50 ft in the air. And I'm guessing the thing around his neck might be a weight belt. Not sure he could sink that quick otherwise.
  17. My first thought was he thought he'd need the chair for when she gets on her knees for the "romantic full moon on the beach hummer" because he didn't want to stand or lay in the sand for it.
  18. And I will sit there at 11pm and watch it on whatever random Fox Sports channel it's on.

    Shit My Kid Says

In the HEB deli, I hold up packages of ravioli and tortellini and ask 9 year-old daughter which one we should get. She points to the tortellini and says, "Get those. They look like butt holes."
  20. I've had 2 Pentair pumps (variable speed main pump and a smaller one for the water feature) and neither has given me a problem in 7+ years. In that time, though, 4 Pentair valve actuators have died. The first 2 were under warranty. The 3rd was $300 to replace. The 4th happened in April at 5:30 on a Friday. A bit of research showed that those are the shittiest things Pentair makes. I bought 2 Haywards Saturday morning and installed them myself in an hour. When I opened the Pentair that had failed, it was full of water.
  21. It's not. Cleaning out the filter baskets is honestly a bigger pain in the ass. Cleaning the filter cartridges is the one thing I will pay $120 for twice a year. I probably spend about $100-$125 a year on chemicals, most of which is acid. I will definitely check out that site though.
  22. This. I have never had a "pool guy" in the 7 years we've had it. Test chlorine and PH weekly. Adjust chlorinator and add acid as needed. Test water at pool store once a month or after heavy rains to see if other adjustments need to be made to things like phosphates, alkilinity, salt, cyanuric acid, hardness.
