  1. Man I started seriously watching college football during the 2004 VY era. I got spoiled very early on. The Charlie Strong-Kansas loss to me hurt worse than this. However, this one was up there with the 2010 UCLA game. I finally thought this was the coach to get us where we need to be. He still could be but this loss is embarrassing. This is not a comparison AT ALL but Saban did lose to LA-Monroe at home in his first season at Alabama. Sark isn't Saban but even the best coach of all time lost to a terrible team his first year. This loss to me is at least on par with the Louisiana Monroe loss that Bama had.
  2. I am just intercoursing with RBs. nbd
  3. my favorite part of all of this is them saying there is a "gentleman's agreement" where the conference wont add another school from the state. Aggy then realized this didnt apply when a ton of money was up for grabs. The 14-0 vote directly contradicts so many of these idiots
  4. Honestly reminds me of what freshmen in high school say about high school games
  5. Can I pay for that or is it just given to me? Seems like a free win
  6. I am out of the loop. What is the reasoning visiting people wont enjoy eating at their restaurants? Is their food that bad at the stadium? I just don't see how that is a flex
  7. I have never heard this. It is too much for me
  8. Keep in mind, Herman's team has progressed in terms of wins, not lose 7 games in a row for 3 years straight
  9. The improvements this game were dramatic. The general admissions was handled much better this time around. We were stopped before entering the tunnel, letting us know the section had been filled. We were informed to go up to the next section. Very nice flow and easy to know where to go. In the student section, we almost unanimously chanted MEES. There were a couple of drunk frat guys around who kept chanting OU Sucks. My girlfriend, who has never been to a football game in her life, asked why they were chanting that when we weren't even playing them. We started numerous "USC Sucks" chants throughout the game. My only complaint was some asshole was running and knocking a fresh Shiner out of my hand as I was going back to my seat. Shit spewed all over my shirt and wasted half a beer
  10. She was very drunk and yes. That was her reasoning. She squatted down and literally took a leak on the ground between the seats. The entire student section was standing for the majority of the game so it went mostly unnoticed. Pretty disgusting
  11. The main issue I had is the lack of communication of where to go. IDGAF if the seats are taken. Show me where I need to go to get a seat. General admission doesn't work when you just let everyone in with no direction. One girl was pushed down the stairs because people were trying to climb up. They seriously had to send medical personnel out because she busted her nose and was bleeding from the forehead. A chick 3 rows up just pissed where where was sitting because she didn't want to lose her seat to go to the restroom. What's different now then in 95 or 05 is the ability for students to buy alcohol in the stadium. You could always smuggle it in but there was always the chance of getting caught and you couldn't smuggle in a lot. Now no one gives a fuck which makes the student section drunker and more stupid than ever. When you combine the ability to buy alcohol with a lack of coordination, shit goes down. The student section started hurling shit at the field. I don't know you, but that is not the fan base that I want. They were even throwing stuff onto the field even after the refs warned us that if we keep doing it that it would cost Texas a penalty. They will almost certainly throw stuff onto the field against USC and it could cost us the game.
  12. My take on this a little different than most since I was actually in the student section. The General Admission was terrible. Essentially there was just people stuck in the tunnel trying to pile into the stand. There were no seats and no where to go. We were told we needed to find seats but we couldn't move and no one would actually direct us to where there were seats. Eventually we found some seats near the aisle. Throughout the whole game, people were climbing over each other since no one found seats and just stood in the walkway. You couldn't leave to go to the restroom or people would steal your seat (it happened dozens of times around me). At halftime, people sat down but you still weren't able to leave or you lost your seat. Students became very angry that they couldn't find seats so they started to throw the fans. Then throwing the fans became a thing to do when we blew a 21 point lead. In general, the atmosphere was better but they need to do something about the general admission. They tried to turn around the students in the tunnels but no one would move so they gave up. USC is only going to be worse because people didnt even want to go to the Tulsa game because it could have rained and it was Tulsa. That's just my take
  13. Yeah. Might as well try to pick up a useful player instead of Dez taking up a spot.
  14. I actually drafted Dez in the last round but dropped him right when McKinnon went down. Even if Dez does sign, he will still be a couple of weeks away from playing
  15. Did you watch this game where our QB threw TWO very bad interceptions late in the 4th quarter to a team who went 4-8 last year?
  16. I have pick 9 in a 10 team PPR league. Routinely I have seen Hopkins, OBJ, Julio, and even Kamara fall to me in Mock drafts. With the 9th pick, if Hopkins isn't available, I have been drafting Melvin Gordon. with the 12 pick, I get a little more lost. I have seen OBJ very often fall to me at 12. Do I take OBJ here or take Hunt/Cook/Fournette over OBJ and secure 2 RBs? Or balance out the team with a good WR and RB?
  17. Bell has a lot to run for. He wants to get paid. He has also been very consistent over the past couple of years. I'd still go Gurley though.
  18. Just a quick question for you guys. My vehicle is registered in Harris County (Houston) and I am in Austin right now and it is very difficult to drive back to Houston at the moment. is it possible to get emissions and safety testing done in Travis County to get my registration renewed in Harris? For what it's worth, it's a 2013 Sierra so I will receive the OBDII test.
  19. I'm looking to pick up a new tv for the bedroom. Currently there is a Toshiba 4K tv for $289. Not sure if I should pull the trigger on it or wait for the Prime Day deals to drop.
