  1. fucking stupid series. Should have taken the timeout with two plays. Damn
  2. stupid fucking shit. Call the damn time out last play
  3. Going to be a long afternoon for the Roadrunners
  4. Responded to the Cajuns score with a good drive. Then just a horrible INT. Defense needs to step up on this next drive.
  5. Let's go Runners! Missing several key players and Coach Traylor due to Covid. Going to be a big challenge.
  6. grrrrrrr.... Well... I guess If UTSA is going to lose commits, I'll be happy that perhaps they are evaluating talent well. Hope he does well at Texas.
  7. I've been a Playstation player since PS2. But now I have 5 and 7 year old boys and decided to get this for them for Christmas. (I'm going to have to wait on my PS5 now) I want to get two more controllers so mom and dad can play every once in a while. Should I just get 2 more Joy-Con's or is it worth the investment to get 2 Pro-Controllers for the boys? I was wondering if they might be too big for young kids hands. They have used my PS3 controllers to play Harry Potter. They struggle a little but manage.
  8. Damn it SMU! I was looking forward to this test for UTSA.
  9. woops. That didn't go right. On the topic. Yeah, I think my biggest issue with football has to do with the youth (younger than middle school) programs. Some of these coaches are nuts. en Last year I coached the 7 year old son of a former Texas O-Lineman in soccer. The boy was SO much bigger than all the kids. I'm guessing he will end up in football. But I thought it was great that dad was encouraging him to succeed in other sports at such a young age.
  10. There is this other town. It's called Harlingen. It is in fact not San Antonio. It's 250 miles from San Antonio. Hope that helps you out a little.
  11. Nah....
  12. Weirdo aggy's on the Roadrunner Board bringing this up like it's a real thing, and making it into a "Texas has a silver spoon and think they can get anyone, are elitist" conversation.
  13. 251 yards for Sincere McCormick today against North Texas. Just a dominating run game with 410 rushing yards.
  14. Just need some more consistent QB play to take the load off of Sincere McCormick. 37 carries today. He can't be doing that every week. 165 yards
  15. Just got home. It was a fun game. Runners definitely came alive in the 2nd half, and defense stepped up with some big stops.
  16. Yep. My teams are winning on counter attacks right now. We have A LOT of work to do on front court offense. They need to learn to move away from the ball. Constantly.
  17. Gold Coast. I believe from Ventura.
  18. Coached the last 2 weekends of the Central Texas Festival hosted by Aqua Tex, and Zilla up in Cedar Park and Round Rock. I took my Boerne team up last weekend and this weekend. It was very well run. I felt like they had a great mitigation plan. A team from California came out this past weekend since this is one of the first USA Water Polo sanctioned tournaments to be held. My takeaway. We have some strong young players in Texas. The established Girls Clubs are playing very physical. The schools that already have a good number of club players will definitely be leading the pack when UIL kicks off. San Antonio area teams will need to try to get their swimmers to play polo also, and use speed on the counter attack, both offensively and defensively, if they are going to have a chance to compete from the get go.
  19. For coaches, it means, or should mean, a Head Coaches position. This will be the big conversation next year. It's a separate sport, so should be treated as such. And yes a championship. UIL water polo will start in early August. It's pretty much the same as the volleyball schedule. Championship format for Region and State. As a swim/water polo coach, this means I have a chance to use Water Polo to hook some kids into aquatics. I might be able to find some sprinters.
  20. [video] At 2:28. She misses the block. But damn she is way out of the water.
  21. Some cool insight Lobo. Yeah. It's just so hard. The last time I played in a Master's tournament, it just wasn't any fun. I had lost my ability to transition back and forth for a full quarter and ended not being able to contribute on offense like I used to. Since I'm small, my game was all speed, crafty drives, countering late in the shot clock, and playing deceptive defense while staying the hell out of center D when possible. Most schools will have boys and girls programs from the get go.
