  1. Budget won't be a major issue. I'm ok with investing some since I really haven't done much, other than get bikini tops and such. But I don't need to go "highest" end. I don't mind approaching the higher end if it means I'll be very pleased with my decision. Some family members (two in the auto industry) suggested I just order all the parts I want, and then just find a good mechanic to do the work, rather than go to an off-road place. Thoughts on that? Seems to make sense.

Are there messicans in Austin anymore? I thought they all got pushed out towards Pflugerville, some outskirt, or something. When I was coaching soccer that was what was happening. Lonestar...big tall physical blonde kids with no soul. Pflugerville...fast little Hispanic kids who pissed me off but I cheered for. Georgetown, a combination of both. But just kidding..... a little. Bitter SA fan and all

La Murga? Los Verdes? Los Jefes? In Austin? lol.....Keep on trying. No one is buying this.
  4. First time playing a GT game. Lots of fun. I assumed I would need to get a wheel/pedal setup, but so far so good. Just working through the Music tracks and my 7 year old was having fun giving it a shot.
  5. This is my 99. I'm the original owner and I'm still under 130,000 miles. I'm never going to sell it, and I want my boys to learn to drive standard on it. This summer I'm finally going to do a lift. The only thing I ever did was go up to 31.5 tires. What lift and tire size would you all recommend? This is obviously not a daily driver and I won't be doing a whole lot of off-roading. I just want it to not look like a mail truck when I'm next to newer jeeps.
  6. Sticky Willy? We have some that grows yearly close to where a greenbelt creek butts up against my st. Augustine yard. I usually just pull or rake it up in the spring. Way behind this year and it's pretty thick. I think it usually dies back once it gets warmer.
  7. Thanks! I found it so interesting that these are in the ground. Insects seem sort of harmless, and actually avoided me as i worked in the area. I just focused on cleaning up as much of the oak runners and gall clusters. Trying to get that area healthy again.
  8. Thanks Loop. I'm working on clearing some of the suckers, and these things are definitely attached to the stems. I just can't find anything about these in any search
  9. Are these a type of Oak Gall? As I'm collecting leaves, I started seeing these all over the ground in an area with a heavy outbreak of Oak Suckers. Tiny gnats emerging and lingering around the surface of the ground. The galls are actually in the ground, maybe even attached to the suckers.
  10. So are we including Lawn in this Gardening thread? I didn't see a lawn thread for 2022 and my lawn question in the 2021 thread got locked before anyone could answer.
  11. Found these in/on the ground in an area of my St.Augustine where I’m having trouble controlling oak shoots. Thousands of gnats emerging from these clusters and just hanging around the ground. Only seems to be happening where the oak shoots are. Not where the grass is more dominant. What the hell are they? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Last time I was there they were about to start the transformation. Still came out reeking like cigarettes. I guess they added a "beer garden" in back?
  13. So cool to immediately recognize that after all these years. Of course, through many viewings.
  14. Ca..Careful... Whelp...They run all over. Sounds just like something my dad would say.
  15. Tough end to to an incredible season. I was worried about this game, but I really thought we would show up a little more. I'm hoping the coaches and players will learn from this. As someone who has had seats since Day 1 (after having UT seats for the previous 10 years) this year was incredible. Next year will be a challenging start, and I will hopefully be in Austin wearing a UTSA shirt and a Texas hat. Maybe UTSA can grab 1 or 2 against Houston, Army, or Texas. Either way, I think UTSA fans are feeling good about things moving forward.
  16. How so? UTSA is suddenly going to be in the bottom of CUSA? And they wont compete in AAC? UTSA is just fine. 12-2 isn't bad. Next year will be tough if they can't overcome a challenging start. But all is good, and those of us who have been in the seats since Day 1 are thrilled.
  17. Oh how the mighty have fallen. You enjoy getting all pumped up for mighty UTSA. No UTSA fan will be talking shit about UT next year. Maybe some lifelong Aggie fans who didn't get into aTm will be talking shit. You don't seem like you know UTSA fans.
  18. Hicks fucked us on that last SDSU drive. Might be the difference.
  19. Khruangbin tonight at Tobin in SA. Great show.
  20. He's a dad. Hopefully it works out for him. It's been fun watching him play, and hopefully we are at a point where someone will step up, or want to come and step up for UTSA
  21. Wow! Coaching duties once again forced me to miss the game tonight, but I managed to record it and watch it without knowing the outcome. Seems like the Alamodome was loud once again. Love it! I hope we can finish off with a Bowl win, but what a great season.
  22. Not looking good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
