  1. I'm thinking of heading downtown for the SA rally. Have to coach early, so we shall see.
  2. No kidding. It's....UTSA.... Hate to be around some of y'alls homes when a rival happens to win
  3. No hotdogs or sodas for the children? That might have been the highlight for your highschool child and his little buddy.
  4. Were they being little jerks? Or was it you? I bet your 15 year old is handling the filth better than you are.
  5. Tuesday seems good for UTSA?
  6. Schloss pre-game speach....." Boys...show up.... and play fundamentals.. and you are Golden"
  7. You should be a coach....
  8. This shit is weird for me. I have so much love for the 3 schools I attended. Navy, Texas, and UTSA...where I finally got my degree. Super proud of UTSA. But I know Texas can go win this thing if they put it together.
  9. Holy shit... I agree with Helo.
  10. Yeah... thanks Midtown..... When you are the teacher having dinner with this guy, a doctor, and a comfortbely retired brother, you are already going in behind the curve! It didn't help that when my wife ordered her Manhattans, and they asked me if I had a whiskey choice, I said no. Rookie mistake. Doubled the drink price. But really fun night and a great meal.
  11. Man.. I want whatever vasectomy drugs koopa is on... Me and my boys are watchin R1 now. Power went out a few hours ago, so we waited and it's a late night, but they were so excited to watch it.
  12. might be where our experiences are different. My school is very diverse.
  13. Quick edit. I figured that's what you meant. I'm a high school teacher of Juniors and Seniors, so I actually do have lots of interactions with younger students. Not trying to be argumentative, but in my experience, young (HS age) males aren't really thinking too much about it, but they are overwhelmingly tolerant. One of the things that has really impressed me over the last 10 years, is how good or tolerant high school kids in general are to kids of "alternate" lifestyles. Perhaps it changes in their early college/work years.
  14. You don't have a ton of interaction....yet you know that EVERY SINGLE ONE hates the woke shit?
  15. Miss this place
  16. We were at at Bed and Breakfast in Flagstaff and the owner recommended going off the beaten path to Shoshone Point. Its a park and hike place. Probably a little over a mile. Incredible experience with snow on the ground. When we got there, I think there were maybe 4 or 5 other people there. I had to convince her to go out toward the edge. She scooted on her butt the last 10 yards. Sorry to derail... and yes, i had the camera on a timer.
  17. I proposed to my wife at Shoshone Point on New Year's Eve 13 yeas ago. She was terrified.
  18. Working on getting my new club outfitted and geared up for Junior Olympics this summer. Looks like the bags my clubs have been using for years won't be an option. Got this email yesterday. Coach, Please excuse my late email here, but it was brought to my attention of a hiccup we are having when I was building out the bag to be put on your site. We use TYR as our vendor for bags, and they are currently out of stock of the color we chose with no signs of replenishment. On top of that, TYR has their bags made in China and unfortunately, it doesn't look like they will be replenishing any inventory due to the tariffs placed on China. They have a small number of black bags on hand, but those will be sold out within the next two days.
  19. Just got back from Wilco and Waxahachee at the Espee here in SA. Really great concert. It was a perfect evening to be at an outdoor venue.
  20. I'll be seeing them here in SA.
  21. That's what I was seeing.... not a bball stat guy so I was just making sure I wasn't missing something.
  22. Where are you seeing this? Genuinely curious.
  23. Places Helo has never heard of for 1000 Alex....

    Bert!

um.... "the hate"? Says right there after the "disagree with"....
  25. Just got back. Took my 10 year old. I enjoyed it, but really got a kick out of all the kids and teenagers screaming, clapping, and singing. I normally hate any talking by the audience, but there is just no way to not expect it in this one. The sheer joy on my kids face, and his all out clapping just made it a blast.
