  1. Fair enough. Honestly, I haven't been to many of the more modern domes, so my perspective isn't well rounded
  2. Just curious, How often have you been to the Alamodome? What do you mean by structural shortcomings? The city isn't getting an NFL team and there is no need to make that a focal point of upgrading. I've been a season ticket holder for UTSA games since Day 1. They have done some slow upgrades, and every time it's an improvement. I get the sense that it's always been the popular thing to bash the dome, since it has always been "different", but games there are great, and there isn't a bad seat in the house.
  3. Hoping for the best. Always liked Battlefield more than COD
  4. Yeah, just out back in the narrow area with a stage I think. Long time ago....
  5. Believe it or not, @midtown and I saw Cracker there. Lot's of late 30's males at the show if I recall. But yeah, had plenty of good times there.
  6. About to leave SA and head up for the game with one of my brothers and @midtown. We got some nosebleeds.
  7. Well, I had a "sort of " blind date with my future wife at the Rim Location. Thanks I guess
  8. Should have been sent off!!
  9. Yeah? .... go fuck yourself... Go Rams!
  10. I'm thinking of heading downtown for the SA rally. Have to coach early, so we shall see.
  11. No kidding. It's....UTSA.... Hate to be around some of y'alls homes when a rival happens to win
  12. No hotdogs or sodas for the children? That might have been the highlight for your highschool child and his little buddy.
  13. Were they being little jerks? Or was it you? I bet your 15 year old is handling the filth better than you are.
  14. Tuesday seems good for UTSA?
  15. Schloss pre-game speach....." Boys...show up.... and play fundamentals.. and you are Golden"
  16. You should be a coach....
  17. This shit is weird for me. I have so much love for the 3 schools I attended. Navy, Texas, and UTSA...where I finally got my degree. Super proud of UTSA. But I know Texas can go win this thing if they put it together.
  18. Holy shit... I agree with Helo.
  19. Yeah... thanks Midtown..... When you are the teacher having dinner with this guy, a doctor, and a comfortbely retired brother, you are already going in behind the curve! It didn't help that when my wife ordered her Manhattans, and they asked me if I had a whiskey choice, I said no. Rookie mistake. Doubled the drink price. But really fun night and a great meal.
  20. Man.. I want whatever vasectomy drugs koopa is on... Me and my boys are watchin R1 now. Power went out a few hours ago, so we waited and it's a late night, but they were so excited to watch it.
  21. might be where our experiences are different. My school is very diverse.
  22. Quick edit. I figured that's what you meant. I'm a high school teacher of Juniors and Seniors, so I actually do have lots of interactions with younger students. Not trying to be argumentative, but in my experience, young (HS age) males aren't really thinking too much about it, but they are overwhelmingly tolerant. One of the things that has really impressed me over the last 10 years, is how good or tolerant high school kids in general are to kids of "alternate" lifestyles. Perhaps it changes in their early college/work years.
  23. You don't have a ton of interaction....yet you know that EVERY SINGLE ONE hates the woke shit?
  24. Miss this place
