  1. So how did Texas and OSU defenses rank in turnovers created in 2024? Seemed like 2024 Texas defense was not good at causing fumbles... Any predictions on whether Texas 2025 defense will be better at generating more turnovers?

  13. Here's a Saban guy leaving to "join the team of super agent Jimmy Sexton at CAA" Ponder is set to leave the Alabama staff, according to a report from AL.com last night. The report shares that Ponder is leaving his current role as associate athletics director for strategic communications to join the team of super agent Jimmy Sexton at CAA. There, he joins perhaps the most influential name in football, as Sexton represents the likes of Saban, Kirby Smart, Steve Sarkisian, Mike Norvell, Lane Kiffin, Kalen DeBoer, Dabo Swinney, Dan Lanning, and a host of other big names, including nearly 100 of the first-round NFL Draft picks dating back to 2011. https://footballscoop.com/2025/08/01/ellis-ponder-nick-saban-alabama-kalen-deboer-sec-crimson-tide-jimmy-sexton-super-agent-caa

  17. From May, great. Spiethcoaster stuff πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Jordan Being Jordan Jordan Spieth says his good shots are 'getting absolutely boned' during all-time convo with caddie Michael Greller By Alex Myers May 29, 2025 Every golfer who has ever played has felt how Jordan Spieth felt on Thursday. The three-time major champ seemed to be hitting the golf ball well, but he wasn't getting anything out of it. And the frustration was mounting just four holes into the Memorial Tournament. After a pair of opening bogeys and a missed fairway on the par-5 fifth, Spieth faced a decision for his second shot. And here's where things get good, because in came Michael Greller to play the role of caddie and psychologist. As Spieth and Greller went through their options from the thick rough, Spieth let his disappointment be known with an all-time back and forth between the most entertaining player-caddie duo on tour. "Let's just hit it right there," Greller said, promoting a safer pitch out to the fairway. "I don't wanna hit it right there," Spieth said, resembling a toddler not wanting to eat their vegetables. "Because I'm hitting good shots, and they're getting absolutely boned so far. So, I can't accept it." πŸ˜‚ We feel you, Jordan. We feel you. Anyway, here's the clip, which results in Spieth hitting another good shot in just being able to muscle his golf ball back to the fairway. So good. And moments later, Spieth had to feel a bit better. After hitting his approach shot to 24 feet, he rolled in the putt for his first birdie of the day at Muirfield Village Golf Club. Hang in there, Jordan. And Michael.
  18. Says Scottie does this sometimes on chipping... steeper angle of attack on chips & likes driving his chips. Video with comments from Smylie explains... link below https://www.msn.com/en-us/video/sports/smylie-kaufman-explores-jordan-spieths-new-chipping-technique/vi-AA1yV1GR?ocid=socialshare
  19. Spiethcoaster shoots 65 today... -5 Jordan Spieth admits something that golf fans have known about him for years Story by Alex Myers 8h As far as Jordan Spieth rounds of golf go, Thursday was pretty tame. The three-time major champ only mixed in two bogeys with seven birdies to get off to a nice start at the Wyndham Championship. But after, he talked about one impressive par save in particularβ€”and admitted something that golf fans have known about him for years. OK, let's head back to the par-4 18th hole at Sedgefield Country Club, which Spieth played as his ninth of the day. He went way left with his tee shot, then attemptedβ€”and kind of pulled offβ€”a bold recovery shot over a creek that left him in a bunker up near the green. And then he got up and down thanks to draining a 15-foot curler for par. Here's how this mini adventure played out on Shot Tracker: And here's how it played out in real life: When asked about the great save, however, Spieth said he didn't really do anything great until the putt. And that his second shot wasn't the smartest decision. But, basically, he just can't help himself in those decisions. "I ended up in a pretty bad spot, definitely could have punched out and probably had a good look and that probably should have been in play," Spieth told reporters before dropping this truth bomb: "It's just really hard for me to play the smart play if I see anything else." πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Gee, you don't say, Jordan. "I didn't mean to hit it in the bunker," Spieth continued. "I walked away with a 4 that I truly didn't deserve. I hit a great putt and that was the only shot that I could say was a really good one on that hole." But he did make a 4. Like the old saying goes, there are no pictures on the scorecard. Well, if you don't count the PGA Tour app. Anyway, Spieth usually not making the smart, safe play is what golf fans love so much about him. Sometimes it doesn't work, but most of the time, he seems to get away with it. And no matter what happens, those daring choices are always entertaining. Never change, Jordan.
