  1. Gehrig was an absolute beast and if I didn't love Yogi Berra so much he would be my all time favorite Yankee. I just love the fact that he was badass enough to let his nuts hang in Babe Ruth's face. Name another man alive at the time who had the stones to that...
  2. The scaling must be off because I'm pretty sure ATG was several inches taller than Wilt...
  3. Yeah Berra is and always will be my all time favorite Yankee. It still baffles my mind he could swing at so many terrible pitches out of the zone and yet only strike out 414 times in 8,364 plate appearances. He was the anti-modern baseball player was a free swinger who hit home runs and rarely struck out. Altuve likes to chase pitches but by the time he hits 8,364 plate appearances odds are high he will either be at 1,000 whiffs or real close to it. They don't make 'em like Yogi anymore
  4. Damn sorry to hear about your friend Such a horrible disease
  5. The fix to this is so simple it's painful and yet the NCAA and their merry cadre of thieves want to turn this into a witch hunt instead. Fuck all of them in their stupid fucking faces.
  6. I went to Cy Creek High School and was a year ahead of Sam Adams little brother. While Sam wasn't the largest human being I've ever seen one time in the late 90s I was at the Petsmart getting dog food while he was playing with the Seahawks and he rolled into the parking lot in a Toyota Supra. I have never seen such a large human being get out of such a small car. I went over said hello and gave him a little good natured grief over his choice in wheels and he told me it was his mom's car haha.
  7. To be fair I pulled it from the ALS site ;-) https://www.als.org/understanding-als/who-gets-als
  8. No idea I didn't even know he had ALS until yesterday then I found out he was diagnosed not even a week ago. My friend from Fort Worth got diagnosed in 2017 when she was 51 I remember I called her right before her diagnosis and thought (to myself thankfully) "man it's pretty early to be this faded" then not even a week later she got the diagnosis. I have never felt so horrible in my life that I assumed she was drunk/stoned. When she could still drive she had to carry a note from her neurologist so that cops wouldn't immediately detain her. She grew up in Costa Mesa, California and was a huge Raiders fan so for my 41st birthday I took her to Oakland for MNF when the Rams came to town in 2018 by that point she had to write things down on a piece of paper to communicate with everyone The Raiders fans tailgating were so amazingly kind to her that warmed my blackened heart even though I had to repeat her story some 25+ times to everyone. The last time I got to see her I went over to her house and drove her to the hospital to see our mutual friend who was in hospice so that she could tell him she loved him and see him before he passed away. I tried to get her to go to concerts but her condition had gotten so bad by mid 2019 she didn't want to go out in public for anything. Shortly after that I broke my foot then covid hit and then soon after she passed. I miss her dearly she was a wonderful friend and always kept a cheery attitude despite being saddled with such a horrific disease.
  9. The range for development is 40-70 with the average age of 55. I think the shocking thing here is he was diagnosed with ALS less than a week ago. I don't think I've ever heard of someone passing away that quickly...
  10. The only team with a bench that can match the Rockets lol
  11. Freshwater taunting Bilbo never gets old T-4th! Now once you juxtapose recruiting rankings Bilbo is in a league of his own #untouchable
  12. Damn lost a friend to ALS in 2021 she had been battling the disease for 4 years :-( Shit ass disease. I always liked Torbush even when he was at A&M.
  13. There is a subsector that gets it over there. You have to feel for them to be trapped in the mediocrity freakshow quagmire and get it must be tortuous.
  14. Oh he's still crying like a bitch....
  15. I don't think Bilbo knows there are other injury statuses. IIRC Weigman was day-to-day initially and per pillow fluffer Looch he's out for the season.
  16. SMS'd to thujone I sent him the time stamped YouTube earlier and marveled at Looch's hand gesture mastery
  17. Need to send someone in to talk shit to Looch and see if he threatens to fight IRL. Of course that would involve being in the hell hole to start so probably a non-starter.
  18. I thought Achane was hurt more of last year than he was.... I guess had he not gotten hurt vs Florida they definitely might have beaten Auburn and not had that 2+ year road losing streak. Oh well poo raggy.
  19. A shitty carpenter blames his tools...
  20. Yeah I tried for the schadenfreude but after like 5 minutes of hearing his stupid voice I want to go commit seppuku even if he is sad panda. I don't know how those ewe breeders can listen to him on a regular basis.
  21. Let's review his 4th down playcalls during that game.. 4th & 2 from the Ala 12 -> Pass to Sanders for 7 yards we wound up gaining 1 yard and had two incomplete passes to still kick the FG (needless risks early in the game) 4th & 1 from the Tex 48 -> The dumbest of all Ewers fumbled but was recovered by Brooks who got to the 50 (blind squirrel found an acorn) 4th & 2 from the Ala 48 -> Brooks for 1 yard turnover on downs (same drive as previous attempt ultimately Bama scored 5 plays later to take the lead) I'm not saying never go for it on 4th down but he got lucky in the end it didn't jump up and bit us in the ass the way it did vs Mobilhoma.
  22. We are basically the 2021 team with more talent so instead of blowing the lead officially we are able to hang on in most cases just not all. The root of the issue is our head coach plays stupid Pac-2 football still despite the fact he's at Texas. We need Nick Saban to come shit down his neck and tell him to fuck off with all the 4th down B$ and we don't have it. We would be undefeated if we just played sane football and would potentially be odds on favorites to win it all. Instead we are going to fuck around and find out wasting the golden opportunity.
  23. Yeah I would have liked to have been the killshot next season but I'm also ok with them panic hiring Dabo
