  1. I think LSU wins but the agro D-line is still going to cause LSU problems so I expect it to be a lower scoring affair. Something like 24-13. I would definitely take the under.
  2. Hinch should have put Cole in as soon as Grienke gave up the HR to Rendon the game was 2-1 at that moment. Houston still had a 73% chance of winning after the HR (84% prior). I'm not saying Cole goes 2.2 without giving up a run just you should have put him in and made him try and I would have gladly taken the loss had he not. Bochy won the 2014 World Series and the 2023 ALCS following the paradigm and he is the greatest manager of all time IMHO. He took teams that probably had no business winning and has won more world series rings than all but 3 managers. 2010: 92-70 2012: 94-68 2014: 88-74 2023: 90-72 Common fucking sense seems to not be so common.
  3. the ags are in the 90 year bucket with TCU, Stanford, & Princeton
  4. 5 years. SC slips off the cliff after next season then we do in 2025 unless we finally magically got our shit together (which would be nice)
  5. Why didn't they put the last 90 years bucket up there for TCU & A&M?
  6. You must have seen a different game. They missed two blatant facemask calls including Sark's dumass ill fated 4th and goal at the 1 sneak. It definitely played a part in the loss though had Texas not had their heads up their asses it wouldn't have mattered.
  7. Was the perfect storm of stupid.... team came out flat and dug an early hole, some terrible play calling, clock management disaster, and then the killshot was the horrific officiating. Total team effort to pick up that L.
  8. OSU is basically a lock the question becomes who of UT, KSU, & OU matchup against them.
  9. Well they get Colorado a year too late too. Obviously if Shaduer returns with Sub-Prime they will be the belle of the B12 ball but they have gone from 9.3 million watching them play Colorado State to 2.77 million watching them play Oregon State (ranked #12). So already down to less than 1/3rd the viewership of a much better game. If CU doesn't beat one of Arizona or @WSU then they will miss a bowl and my guess is the prime hype machine will slow down to a crawl.
  10. Hiring this Stallions scrub was felonious stupidity but fuck ESPN and their bullshit pedantic takes.
  11. Yeah Florida is shyte unless they are playing the road construction orange hillbillies so I doubt he will be needed. I could also see them keeping him out of the gimme game vs Georgia State but I don't think there is any way he doesn't play vs the ags. A loss to A&M would likely mean finishing 4th in the SEC West behind Bilbo and that would cause more cajun melt than BK can handle.
  12. One day they will find a QB who can make the OL not a leaky sieve! Until then next year
  13. https://texags.com/forums/5/topics/3417437 While Iowa, Tulane, et al are in the CFP top 25 I'm not sure I would call them CFP teams in fact the odds to win the title bottom out at +10000 for the best entry on the poor gomers list...
  14. Gehrig was an absolute beast and if I didn't love Yogi Berra so much he would be my all time favorite Yankee. I just love the fact that he was badass enough to let his nuts hang in Babe Ruth's face. Name another man alive at the time who had the stones to that...
  15. The scaling must be off because I'm pretty sure ATG was several inches taller than Wilt...
  16. Yeah Berra is and always will be my all time favorite Yankee. It still baffles my mind he could swing at so many terrible pitches out of the zone and yet only strike out 414 times in 8,364 plate appearances. He was the anti-modern baseball player was a free swinger who hit home runs and rarely struck out. Altuve likes to chase pitches but by the time he hits 8,364 plate appearances odds are high he will either be at 1,000 whiffs or real close to it. They don't make 'em like Yogi anymore
  17. Damn sorry to hear about your friend Such a horrible disease
  18. The fix to this is so simple it's painful and yet the NCAA and their merry cadre of thieves want to turn this into a witch hunt instead. Fuck all of them in their stupid fucking faces.
  19. I went to Cy Creek High School and was a year ahead of Sam Adams little brother. While Sam wasn't the largest human being I've ever seen one time in the late 90s I was at the Petsmart getting dog food while he was playing with the Seahawks and he rolled into the parking lot in a Toyota Supra. I have never seen such a large human being get out of such a small car. I went over said hello and gave him a little good natured grief over his choice in wheels and he told me it was his mom's car haha.
  20. To be fair I pulled it from the ALS site ;-) https://www.als.org/understanding-als/who-gets-als
  21. No idea I didn't even know he had ALS until yesterday then I found out he was diagnosed not even a week ago. My friend from Fort Worth got diagnosed in 2017 when she was 51 I remember I called her right before her diagnosis and thought (to myself thankfully) "man it's pretty early to be this faded" then not even a week later she got the diagnosis. I have never felt so horrible in my life that I assumed she was drunk/stoned. When she could still drive she had to carry a note from her neurologist so that cops wouldn't immediately detain her. She grew up in Costa Mesa, California and was a huge Raiders fan so for my 41st birthday I took her to Oakland for MNF when the Rams came to town in 2018 by that point she had to write things down on a piece of paper to communicate with everyone The Raiders fans tailgating were so amazingly kind to her that warmed my blackened heart even though I had to repeat her story some 25+ times to everyone. The last time I got to see her I went over to her house and drove her to the hospital to see our mutual friend who was in hospice so that she could tell him she loved him and see him before he passed away. I tried to get her to go to concerts but her condition had gotten so bad by mid 2019 she didn't want to go out in public for anything. Shortly after that I broke my foot then covid hit and then soon after she passed. I miss her dearly she was a wonderful friend and always kept a cheery attitude despite being saddled with such a horrific disease.
