  1. I’ll be eager to see the QB schools all 22 of the game. There were a couple of plays where Arch was waiting for guys to get open and by the time he went to throw it was too late. Then there were times the WRs got no separation hardly at all. Howe’s point is true. On the flip side, Ohio st was pretty vanilla as well. Sayin just didn’t turn the ball over and executed what our defense gave him. The first td was aided by our dumb penalties and the second td to Tate was under thrown but he gave his guy a chance at least. I wasn’t a fan of the overall game plan from Sark but I’m struggling to see how it was the ultimate deciding factor in the loss. Our second deep redzone drive that ended up as a turn over on downs wasn’t called horribly. Better throw from Arch to Wingo at the minimum makes it first and goal. The fourth down play, Wingo was wide open on the slant and maybe even scores. I don’t know the read on that one tho.
  2. I keep seeing you say this and while I agree with about half of it, I think it’s a reasonable expectation for your QB to be able to hit the easy plays the that the defense gives you. The first drive alone there were 2 obvious plays where he simply did not execute. The last drive was kinda the opposite of Ewers in execution. No way Sark is calling that route to Endries with Ewers due his poor execution with that type of throw. But Arch can’t make a baddass throw like that and then turn around and fail on a simple flat route to Endries or the crosser to Wingo. We rightfully ridiculed Ewers with the same missed execution to Golden on a crucial play against Clemson. He needs to be money on those plays. Again, I agree that Sark had some wtf play calls.
  3. Arch couldn’t even recognize the easy RPO read on the first 4 down fail. What are we even doing here?
  4. It’s hard to get into a flow when the first play of the game has a wr schemed wide open and Arch throws it 5 yards in front of the wr. Arch couldn’t even throw a simple fire screen without it ending up as a 3yrd loss. Sarks shit starts in the redzone and that needs to be fixed asap.
  5. Outside of some pre-snap penalties from Baker making his first start, I thought they did really good considering how much shuffling they’ve been doing. Sucks about the last play but for the most part they were nasty in the run game to the tune of 166 yards rushing and gave Arch plenty of time. It was nice to see a qb step up into the pocket and not self sack. Now, if Arch can settle down and hit the easy throws then we might be cooking upfront as the season goes on.
  6. If one of my friends told me to look at a video they pulled up on the computer, and I could see the “live leak” logo in the top left corner, there was a 100% guarantee that is was going to be brutal to watch.
  7. What-if scenarios are pointless—they typically just serve to reinforce someone’s subjective opinion or argument.
  8. This is outstanding news. The pitching staff should be elite next year. Outside of our SS being meh defensively, Schloss and Co. got everything they needed out of the offseason portal/retention. It is still insane that we replaced a Buster Posey finalist with another Buster Posey finalist from the same year.
  9. Come on Hulk, hang on to that P3!!!
  10. That one stings a bit.

The CGI work done in TPM was pretty big for the movie industry. The pod racing scene alone is ridiculous for a film that came out in ‘99. I’m technically a prequel kid, and while there was some bad CGI in those films, there was also really good ones as well that still hold up today. I remember thinking the technology is only going to get better with CGI and movies will able to do some awesome stuff. Then Marvel did their thing and I’ve yet to see a CGI scene from that franchise better than the 5 second close up of Grievous in ROTS. I don’t watch a ton of marvel stuff so I could be wrong.

Sir, you should know screws and bricks do not belong in the SW universe. By having those small details in a show like Andor, it takes away the aesthetic appeal of SW and the story being presented. /s

The Thrawn books in both legends and Disney canon are pretty good.

Agree with the rock, paper scissors guys and their purpose but the execution could have been better. I’ll say this show has the luxury of being great on practically every level that the small faults or nitpicks don’t hinder the experience. I guess we could say a fault of the series is what we didn’t get to see from the talented people working on this show because of the need to squeeze it from 5 seasons to only 2 seasons. For as long as I live, I’ll will be wishing we got to see the original horror/Alien like idea of how K-2 and Cassian met. It’s unfortunate the episode had to be scratched for budget reasons but at least we go this epic scene.
  15. I think he’s tied with Arod for errors on the season. The guy made plenty of errors. I was more so calling out the plays like the Aggie regional last year. But I agree Flores lacks the athleticism/range for short and it’s probably why 3rd is where he’ll play at the next level. The amount of balls that went off his glove in the hole or slow rollers he wasn’t quick enough to get out was so, so bad. Against UTSA in game 2, the ball to 5 hole in the 9th highlights his lack of range in terms of what we’ve seen throughout his time here.
  16. Flores was an okay fielder, but his errors always seemed to happen at the worst possible time.
  17. I could see Arod playing the infield if that is where he’s more comfortable. If I’m not mistaken, I think he was a plus defender at short in high school. I just wouldn’t pencil him in the outfield yet.
  18. I’m going to give Arod the benefit of the doubt when it comes to his defense since he played hurt for half the season. He has the tools to grow into a more sound defender and I’m a little surprised how well he did in the outfield all things considered. Agree on Jonah but don’t forget Mendoza.
  19. Leads the nation in come from behind victories as well.
  20. The staff also couldn’t stop throwing cock-shots or hitting them. Base running was atrocious. Fielding was also bad. Schloss even got out coached in certain points. The point is the talent in the lineup was also not fielding, pitching or running the bases well either. You can’t just be hyper focused on one facet of the game when the collapse post Aggie was in all phases.
  21. For the most part but that doesn’t mean you should completely discount what UTSA was able to do. It was a complete failure in all phases.
  22. Look what Tulo had to work with. Talent wise there wasn’t much there for him, and it’s easy to see which guys wouldn’t sniff the middle to top end of rosters in the SEC. Winfield turned out to be a dud and Rodriguez was doing pretty good till he hurt his hand—still did well in towards the end all things considered. 4ish guys in the lineup were somewhat consistent with the rest being in and out of the lineup or a black hole. And while Flores regressed from last year, guys like Galvan and Kimble improved. At least Weiner got an ace and Ruger out of the portal, and freshmen of the year in the SEC.
  23. I think not considering Aggie has never won the SEC.
  24. Going to miss Kimble the most.
