  1. Glad you had a good time. Hermann is a great park. I’d probably go Zilker, Landa, and Hermann in that order in Texas.
  2. I love Peter’s. I could drive home from UT and eat a good lunch for about 15 bucks. Simpler times.
  3. I think their website gave my phone AIDS. I do see pigeon on the menu, that is pretty, pretty wild. What’s your review of their lamb chops?
  4. Can somebody explain $15 for a chipped beef sandwich?! We’re talking about the trimmings from slicing brisket for by the pound and meat plate orders. I was thinking about getting a sandwich at Feges last week and passed. Link: https://fegesbbq.com/greenway-plaza/#menu Peter’s in Ellinger still charges $3.99. Other than their rent, what makes Feges’ sandwich $11 better than Peter’s?
  5. Maybe it rips the band aid off. While I like Fred, he wasn’t supposed to get a second contract. Jalen Green sucking shit changed their plans. I’m not going to arm quarterback their summer decision making, but I bet they wish they signed another guard instead of Capela right now. Hopefully we get a nice surprise out of training camp, and a guy like Davidson emerges as a rotational player. Also have a trade deadline to get whatever we might need.
  6. I’ll try any restaurant with lamb chops on the menu once.
  7. I’ll try to be gentle here. It can’t be easy to do halal bbq on high level, but Levant sucked shit. I liked the fried okra. The jalapeño cheese sausage was passable. The smoked lamb chops were dry and bland. The baklava was brittle, bland, and unsweet. This isn’t a new restaurant working out th kinks. They’ve open about a year. It’s just a bad restaurant.
  8. And it’s nearly company wide policy to not have specials or happy hours. It’s a great lunch spot if you can put it on company plastic.
  9. Silver lining they had to trade for a guard anyway, this will expedite things. Also forces Reed into a deep end of the pool sink or swim situation instead of the team his entire rookie deal trying to figure out if he’s good. I think any short term fixes are going to require taking a bad contract in a trade and going into the apron as stated above. Not sure they’re willing to do that yet.
  10. Jake is gonna die.
  11. My body IS NOT ready.
  12. A lot of weird shit. No Florida - LSU is almost criminal.
  13. Ingelsby has no chill. No episodes off.
  14. Shout out to the fans, especially the students, for staying the whole game. When I was a student, I would have been at Abel’s by halftime.
  15. I don’t understand the Arnold vitriol from the OU crowd. When he came back from injury last year he forfeited a redshirt year that he desperately needs to have a future in football. He didn’t have to do that. He did it for his team. Yes he sucked, but he put his team before himself which is exceedingly rare in modern college football. I know they’re meth smoking losers, but I would hope most fanbases would acknowledge this and not boo the guy.
  16. I think Jonah would be ecstatic to play in any capacity at this point. Niblett isn’t playing so much on offense that he needs a breather. And I believe they put McCutcheon back on returns when the game was in hand.
  17. Has the league suspended the Auburn - OU officiating crew? Ari and Andy mentioned it but I haven’t seen a press release.
  18. Bobby and Gerry got a deal with XM?! Good for them.
  19. I think we’re the NFL version of the Florida Gators. Good roster where our good players make inexplicably bad plays.
  20. The Texans’ patron saint is Trevor Lawrence. Looks like an ugly woman, plays like an angel. The CBS color commentator has spent the entire game verbally blowing Jourdan Lewis and Nico just out his ass on the grill.
  21. UF BOR meeting this morning:
  22. So when is the bank foreclosing on your house? Has anybody ever made money betting the Bear’s picks?
  23. More night games please. I don’t know how we get there. It’s a TV sport and they get ratings at 11 and 230. I am mentally preparing myself for Bobby and Gerry telling us the Gators are the ‘85 Bears for 14 days.
  24. Good point. The cops would seize it and say the “street value” is $100 million and it’s enough fentanyl to kill everyone on the Eastern Seaboard. I think Robbie is going to take a haircut because the drugs are very, extremely hot and tied to a quadruple homicide and a high profile kidnapping. He can’t dump the drugs in the woods because it would burn his handler, but it’s more trouble than the value of the drugs.
