  1. Kolache Depot in Ennis makes a half assed kolache and pig in a blanket. As with many suggestions upthread, it’s only really worth stopping if you need gas or a bathroom break.
  2. It’s probably going to cost me $30.95, but El T imo.
  3. Yeah, if they made it through about a thousand cuts at COP to get a retirement package that is some final boss level shit. My hat is off to them.
  4. It includes employees and contractors, so it could potentially be quite a bit of international contractors. Could be looking to reduce their exposure in unfriendly places. They cut Marathon to the bone, so this isn’t a redundancies thing. COP is probably reducing headcount to bankroll the acquisition.
  5. It’s a 4 hour drive, and there’s not shit around the midpoint. I’d drive straight thru. Probably not what you wanted to hear, but it is what it is.

The Downtown location is my favorite Guadalajara. Just a lovely dining room, and a cool second floor bar/lounge. Food is on point as well. I probably would have put it and The Palm in a different part of Downtownz. They’re losing a lot of lunch business.
  7. Orakpo had some interesting thoughts on poor hand placement from the WRs. He singled out Wingo’s pinkies touching before the infamous drop. He said that’s 100% coachable.
  8. Lowe said it’s going to be a months long process, but in the end the Clippers probably get out there with a small fine and maybe a second round draft pick gets ripped. His sports attorney guest concurred. Unless… there’s a smoking gun linking the Clippers.

I assume Greenway? I like the bar area at that location. Nice and tucked back and away from the door.
  11. No more departures. 18 cast members for S51. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/tv/article/snls-new-cast-is-complete-whos-in-and-whos-out-for-season-51-see-the-full-list-171703043.html
  12. I think the Michigan win will age OK. They won 8 games and beat Ohio State without an offense last season. Surely Underwood’s arrow is pointing up and they can win 9. I’d tell OU to tap the brakes on “program defining win”, but who’d listen?
  13. Lane said no as recently as 2024, right? Good to hear you’d be OK with 99% of Florida fans’ first choice that UF probably can’t get. I’d be OK with Sean McVay coaching the Longhorns.
  14. Man, I don’t know that pilot could garner a bad review.
  15. Every time Pitre positives come up, it’s always, always off the field intangibles. Smart kid. He’s elevated himself from career ST specialist to NFL starter by having a good attitude, being loyal, and attempting leadership. McLain constantly talking him up is a tremendous red flag. Any team worth their salt in self scouting wouldn’t have resigned Pitre. He’s just so limited on the field.
  16. He’s 100% on the money on Pitre in coverage.
  17. O is usually a solid player. Feel bad for him, but that was not a pro move.
  18. What in the actual fuck?
  19. Laziest relay throw I’ve ever seen, and our outfield has had many.
  20. I think Ramsey just killed a guy.
  21. This. Sark’s Golden comparison is our only hope that the WR Room is better than league average. If psycho mom was out of the picture, I’d probably trade WR Rooms with MS State. No idea how Sark let it get this bad. I bet Brooks sits another game and he’s back from Sam. 3 games feels about right for this kind of transgression.
  22. This. Living full time in Gainesville doesn’t help.
  23. Staples’ take is so weird. He’s performing the autopsy, but he’s telling the detectives it’s not that bad. He honestly thinks UF is a playcalling OC away. Napier agreed to relinquishing playcalling duties in 2024 as a condition to return in 2025, but they finished on a hot streak + power vacuum, and he reneged. It sounds like the UF BOR is completely fucked with lots of infighting. Hence, failing to hire a president after 15 months. I guess Strickland’s extension gives him enough juice to fire Sunbelt Billy, but probably doesn’t have enough juice to raise money for a buyout + hiring a new staff. We should all be thankful for the cohesion between the Texas BOR, President, and AD.
